Applied for a mobile and didn’t put me through a credit check. Phoned me straight away saying I can have a sim only???? Because apparently my credit scores too low!!! What a load of bull! I never got credit checked….. horrible people and preying on vulnerable people with bad credit!

Disgusting service, that prays on the vulnerable, all recorded with ofcom for official complaint.
They send you the SIM card only, when they say “the manager has said we could offer you this handset” it’s all lies, I declined the sim as current phone is locked, she came back with a different phone.
They just want the commission from O2. Logged with O2 too, the more people complain to Ofcom the better to stop these awful people.
Tried to scam me thankfully I asked how I know there were real told me check email didn't look convinced got him bk on the phone whilst I checked trust pilot thanks to your comments I told him I would go to o2 store he tried repeatedly to get my bank details wasn't having it thank for the advice nearly had me convinced

I should have thought about it when going through the motions with them. They didn't want to do a credit check, but wanted everything on my bank card... when you ring them they answer call put you straight on hold and then get your name from your number and then answer call with your name, how pleasant I thought until I launched into them with both guns... he turned round and said I needed to speak to the person who set this up but yet could tell me what I had ordered, without the phone.. if I wanted a sim only deal for £28 I would have asked... Seriously they must think we are all born yesterday. Well I'm not I was born the day before....

If you were only offered a SIM deal, there would have been good reason for this. SIM deals are a way in which credit worthiness can be established. That is not to say the case was for you but is an example of what may be required.
I'm not sure if this is a scam yet or not, I really can't be sure. I received a phone call and they ran threw some things, asked what phone I would want and what data allowance I was currently getting. They then told me they could get a better data allowance and the phone I wanted for £28 a month, They went on and asked what colour phone did I want and ran threw the colours they had. still abit unsure about it all I again asked was they sure about the monthly cost being £28 a month, which by the way is by far the cheapest I've ever seen, they then replied yes!.. I reluctantly went ahead with it and gave them my bank details, email address and D.O.B ect.. they sent me all the right emails, set me up an o2 account and went threw all the usual speel, I still I got off the phone questioning whether or not I was being scammed so did a few panic searches on the Internet but didn't find a thing. The strange thing about it all is the next day, delivered my royal mail came a sim in my name but without a phone?? The tracking number matches the sim packaging and I'm left wondering will I ever even get this phone?? or was I just a victim of someone getting there commission on the sale of a sim only contact.. I'm going to ring the company tomorrow and see what they have to say but I'm not holding my breath.

Massive scam! Sounded way too good to be true from the get go. What company asks for all of your card details and the security number. Don't fall for it!

Bank details would be required to set up your monthly payment. We (Only Mobile Phones) do not request bank details, this would be the company we connect you to that process applications on behalf of the mobile operator. All agents are based in the UK. This is NOT a scam.
Quick response! Defo not a scam someone phoned me the next day and ran through some details I have a great deal on sim just now with the possibility of upgrade phone within 3-6months, yes they ask for your bank details to check it’s an active card and they also set up the direct debit. Received my 02 sim the next day and it’s all set up
I would definitely recommend it’s all legit, depending on credit status will depend on what’s on offer to start with which is the same as any company just this one give u better deals and offers you might not find on the high street 😊

Card / bank details would be required to set up your payments. Switch Experts is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under FRN 816418 for its consumer credit services.
