Ordered and paid for an opencart them by inspiretemplates that comes with free installation.
They installed wrong theme and just ignore me when i demand they give me what i paid for. Trading standards looking at banning opencart in the uk

A terrific platform for building a free ecommerce store. What I found about the platform is actually this is one of the most hidden gem for all business owners because they have a solid community online and the customer service is an absolute honour.

I have made them aware that they are hosting a scam site that is taking people's money. They want to act stupid, like they can't understand. I would not support these types of people.

This is really a very good cart. People telling this is a scam, they are the scam.

I bought an opencart extension for $69 and after installation, I was supposed to enter an activation code that was never sent. "support" is unresponsive and utterly useless - no response, no refund and no activation key.
When starting a Paypal claim for internet fraud, this is the message I got from Opencart.
Wow, I did not realize how bad of a scammer organization this is...
STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!!

PayPal Dispute = Instant Ban!

Your OpenCart account has been suspended. You will no longer have access to your downloads, updates or free support until you drop the PayPal Dispute.

This is what you should have done:

1. Go to .....ndex.php?route=support/contact.
2. Select support or refund.
3. In the enquiry field enter your order ID, username, any error messages and the reason for the refund.

PayPal's dispute system is very slow and only a limited number of OpenCart staff have access to it.

Overall a good platform with several useful features. Still could improve support quality a little

I do not recommend these platforms to anyone, on Opencart recently it was rugpull, hundreds of thousands of USDT were stolen and they simply ran away with our money, there are thousands of people who put money in, I have a baby who was born with problems, I heard from friends of Opencart and I invested my last money that I had on my savings, my baby needs medical care and I was desperate to make some extra money, so I invested my last 3500USDT money in this platform, after 1 week the money disappeared, I am so desperate and upset and my wife is in a state of trauma because I can't afford to borrow any more money, I wish you the same fate that I have now and go through such problems, you have no mercy on people, I hope that no one will buy your products or invest in this scam.
Daniel Kerr I hope you are proud for what are you doing and I hope you can read this message and see how far you can go with your scammer platforms.

I have built 2 web stores using woocommerce and shopify but when I found out about opencart, I have built my drop shipping business and now I am really happy with not having to pay monthly fees. Opencart is totally free to use. I only bought an extension for dropshipping and my business is thriving. Highly recommended open source ecommerce platform.

I was a developer in Opencart, a big mistake, avoid buying modules from there.

In the past years I tried so many e-commerce platforms and I found out that not every website can list multiple number of products because they tend to slow down the speed of the website. Once I found out about opencart I am really impressed with the speed of this platform.
I highly recommend using this shopping cart.

Downloaded latest version and its plagued with errors spent two hours debugging just to get through the install, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere!

It seems if you order a theme and you don't get the theme you actually ordered, so you report this and get refunded, they actually ban you without telling you, but still allow you access to your opencart account.

i ordered a theme several months ago and the theme i received was nothing like the one advertised, so i informed them of this and was refunded, so yesterday i had a client order hosting and he wanted an opencart theme, so paid me for the theme which i them went to order from OC and was asked for ID as part of their security even though i used OC for years as to me its the best ecommerce platform, so provided this and then today i have an email that this has been refunded as i am banned for OC. First time i knew i was banned as still have full access to my OC account.
