The product is amazing and have been using it for years. For the first time for as long as optifine has been out I have been using it, I needed assistance recently for optifine. I reached out on the discord and was greeted with such disrespect and unprofessionalism and gaslighting that if there was another option, I would have stopped using optifine all together. The way I was treated for asking for help was absolutely absurd. I have worked in the customer service industry for longer than most of them have been alive. NEVER have I been treated that way. DO NOT bother asking for help, it will only lead to a long day of arguing instead of addressing the issue.

... I really dislike, that they don't allow modpack authors to include it directly. I understand what might be the reasonings (less donation potential) but still think that should change. This isnt a paid piece of software, so I personally think it shoudl be allowed to be included, even if it ment that the user'd waive their right to complain or search support from the optifine author directly.

Unfortunately Optifine uses a scammy payment processor that tries to collect sensitive data to process small donations. Optifine acts like it's out of their control, but they chose to use this provider, so it's fully their responsibility. No donation from me.

And also Optifine cape is really nice looking.

I had a laptop and the FPS went from 40 to about 150 and I had a desktop and it started with 30 FPS and ended with 250 to 300 so I would say the improvement depends on your computer

I tried to download optifine 1.15, but all there was, was ads.
I kept trying, but I was redirected to a gambling ad (Keep in mind that I am under the legal gambling age). When I finally found out how I could cheese their bad ad system to download optifine 1.15, it started downloading the 1.14.4 file.
