Wish I could give this dealer a ZERO star
If I could give this dealer a ZERO star, I would. This dealership sold us a 2022 Heritage Glen trailer. I really loved that the trailer had a larger kitchen, and a king size bed. They sold us on protection plans for paint, fabric, along with the entire vehicle protection plan, a total of 4263.50.
Last year, the roof had a leak, along with other items that needed to be fixed. Because we live 6 hours away from the dealer, we had to make hotel arrangements and board our 4 dogs for a day.
When we arrived at their facility, around 10 in the morning, we could smell a strong odor of marijuana on the outside, as well as the inside of their main building. We should've stopped right there and left.
Needless to say, nothing was covered on the protection plans they sold us, except the kitchen faucet that didn't work, which was a 20.00 item, and we had to pay for the shipping. The total bill came out to almost 1800.00.
This past week, we took out the trailer for a few days and there was a hard rain. There were leaks in three different places that we could see. The leak in the shower damaged the trim and the trim has swelled up and we'll need to replace it, along with the vinyl covering. They charged us $748.35 to seal the roof. Obviously, it wasn't repaired.
Think twice before you go to this dealer. They do not stand up to their warranty and the quality of work they provide is a disgrace.
Tried to use there consignment service…
Tried to use there consignment service it's a scam.told them everything that was wrong with the unit they said no problem.the price they told me they could get was way off I ask them several times if they were sure they could get the quoted price they said yes.took the unit to them then the BS started.they said the unit needs to be cleaned. all the other things I told them about need to be fixed in there service department of course for a large inflated fee the unit was 4 hours away not convenient for me to just go get so I let them fix the problems.then I received an email saying if I would take 5 thousand less then they may be able to move it. I left my job and that was the email I had been using they sent numerous emails to my old work with no response from me because I was not getting them. then out of the blue l received a call telling me my unit had to go and they had been charging me storage fees.the person that called said she could not call me to let me she was to busy but she had time to email they do not know the current values it just a scam you make work for the service department
They are a scam company!
They are a scam company!! They will sell you an RV and then sell it to someone else.. Then when you get there they try and sell you over priced RV... I would not recommend anyone do any business with them.. Look at all of the bad reviews they have gotten before you waste your time or money with them..They should be turned into the Attorney General Office for fraudulent activities.
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!
EDIT to keep you updated: We took delivery of our brand-new camper on 2/7/26. It is 2/19/26 and we are being ignored by anyone we try to reach at Optimum RV to resolve the plethora of issues we are experiencing with our brand-new fifth wheel. We have called daily to try and reach resolution and either get a voicemail that is full or have to leave a message with someone. We have yet to receive a response from anyone that can actually help.
The list of things wrong with our camper, including all the items previously listed below, include a slide out that is inoperable, and a broken pipe behind the living room fireplace wall that has sprayed water all over the interior of the wall. This is a brand-new camper.
Rather than try to make things right, we are being ignored. The reason, we were told, is because they already took a loss on the sale to us.
I cannot say this enough:
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! This place is unbelievably terrible in every way.
Edit to add more: once I got home with my brand-new camper, we discovered that the batteries were completely dead and could not be recharged. We also discovered on the drive home that the trailer brakes were not functioning. I messaged my sales guy, Norm. I can see that he read my message, but I got no response. Shocking.
We had a 1:00 PM pickup appointment, and from the start everything went downhill. The receptionist wouldn’t give us any estimate on when the camper would actually be ready, so we went to lunch to kill time. When we returned, Jason asked if we wanted to take the camper “as is” — not cleaned at all. That was extremely frustrating.
We went shopping just to pass more time. When we came back, we waited hours before finally doing the walkthrough. During that walkthrough we discovered missing ladders and steps, plus a huge dent and scratch on the side of the brand new camper. They then had to scramble to find the parts we were missing.
After checking out, they finally finished cleaning the camper. We hooked up and left — 7 HOURS after our scheduled appointment. To make matters worse, about 25 feet down the road the spare tire holder fell off and dragged across the pavement. Completely unacceptable and dangerous.
The workers themselves were great. There were two amazing employees helping customers and one woman cleaning campers nonstop. The real problem is management, who did absolutely nothing while their staff was overwhelmed.
Poor organization, poor management, and zero quality control. This experience was exhausting and disappointing.
New owners beware
If you are new to owning a RV don't go to this dealership alone. Always use an independent person to go over the unit you are looking at, or stand to be taken advantage of like we were. According to Peyton who showed us our vehicle, everything was good to go and working. We asked about the roof, and was told all was good to go and no attempt to give us access to the roof. Showed us that the hot water heater was working, only halfway. The cigarette lighters on the dash inoperable, water pump was operating until they ran it without water, oops. Let's put it this way, we left the dealership with the unit and drove it home. We took it straight to a RV service center near our house just to have it repaired to the toon of $7400. dollars. We reached out to Peyton and dealership and was told we would receive a phone call that afternoon, we're still waiting for the call. I can go on and on about the bait and hook this dealership and their employees are trained to do. BUYERS BE WEAR
New management in,..
New management in,... so much better. I can say this, I purchased an RV from this place few years, and like alot of reviews on here, dealt with the same experiences, recently though, ran into gas issue with the furnace, the new manager- was quick to respond, sent a proper tech who was very thorough. It was difference of night and day- glad the new management seems like they are turning things around, like Trump walking into inherited mess- and turning things towards the good.
This is the worse place to buy an rv! I need to say no more.
This is the worse place to buy an rv!! Stay away!!! We had so many bad experiences with this place,,just to much to mention! Do not buy here!!!!
We consigned a 5th wheel with them
We consigned a 5th wheel with them. Everything seemed good until such time has they received or RV. Everything went down hill from there. From unreturned phone calls and repeated empty promises. I am embarrassed to have cotracted with them.
WORST COMPANY
Optimum RV is the worst company I’ve worked with in the outsourcing industry. There was no proper training, no clear process, and expectations were poorly explained from day one. The leads provided were extremely low quality and most customers were unreachable, yet agents are blamed for not closing sales.
The tools, especially CDK, are painfully slow and make productivity almost impossible. On top of that, the management is completely unprofessional. Christy, the so-called manager, was disrespectful, disorganized, and showed no leadership or support at all. Instead of helping the team succeed, she focused on blaming people for problems caused by poor systems and bad leads.
After only two weeks, I was removed without any prior notice or explanation. No professionalism, no transparency, no respect. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
They still haven't sent us a title and give us the run around. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!
We purchased a Damon Tuscany motorhome from the Pottstown location on 9/29/2025 and paid in full with no lien or loan. We still have not received a title, and every time we talk to someone at the dealership (the title person, the sales person, the general manager) we get a different answer (it’s in the mail, the state is working on it, the previous owner’s bank hasn’t processed the payoff, we have “positive movement”, you’ll have it soon, the bank mailed the title to the old owner and they have been sitting on it since November). The responses to our inquiries have been ever changing, but with no results.
Our temporary tags expire TOMORROW (12/19/205) and we will be unable to legally drive our motorhome after that date. We asked for additional temporary tags so we could at least drive the motorhome, but the “title” person at Pottstown said “I asked corporate to handle it” a couple of days ago, but now she won’t even answer the phone or respond to messages.
We just want our title that we paid for almost three months ago. And if there is some delay, a clear and precise explanation, not some run around. Not some generic “we have positive movement”.
And this doesn’t even address the dash cluster that was stated on the paperwork that the dealership owed us.
We've spoken to the general manager, the title person, the parts person, the service manager....and it's all the same. No clear explanation, and no title.
This doesn't even touch on the sales experience where they charged is a mandatory $2,495 "cleaning and prep" fee but they did NOTHING. No service, no cleaning, nothing. The unit was filthy inside and out, including hair in the shower drain. The techs were obviously unfamiliar with the unit and couldn't answer any questions about it and couldn't even find half of the switches for things. Their power pedestal specifically for demoing and testing motorhomes couldn't handle both AC units at once, so even though it had a 50 amp breaker, it repeatedly tripped it. And it took them several hours just to get through the sales process that amounted to us giving them money, and them giving us keys.
The sales person was constantly blowing smoke and making things up about himself, the motorhome, and anything that came up.
The only good thing about the place is the techs seemed competent and friendly from what little interaction we had with them.
I never got my tags from optimum rv
I never got my tags from optimum rv. I purchased the vehicle 6 months ago late may or June 2025 and we are now midway into NOV, I have not received my tags or title. I am stuck making payments on the vehicle I do not technically own. I call every day to get an update but these guys are refusing to answer my calls.
I recently had a disappointing…
I recently had a disappointing experience with Optimum RV Center in Titusville, FL, and I feel compelled to share it to help others make informed decisions. While their overall rating is low (around 1.3 stars), I still recommend reading multiple reviews before proceeding.
I contacted their Titusville location to inquire about purchasing a Winnebago Travato, offering $90,000 out-the-door, including sales tax but no additional fees. A salesperson followed up enthusiastically via voicemail, indicating interest and requesting a bit more information to move forward. After speaking with both the salesperson and the general manager, we reached an agreement on the price.
However, just a few hours later, I heard nothing back despite expectations of photos and paperwork to proceed with a deposit and inspection. When I followed up, I was informed that a second manager had reconsidered the offer, effectively backing out of the deal. This sudden change felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, which eroded my trust completely.
I was prepared to travel a significant distance for an in-person inspection, but after reviewing feedback on sites like Yelp and the Better Business Bureau—filled with similar accounts of unfulfilled promises and refund issues—I decided to walk away.
I hope Optimum RV can improve their processes to avoid these kinds of frustrations for future customers. For now, I’d advise caution and suggest exploring other dealerships. #BuyerBeware
Optimum RV Service Department…
Optimum RV Service Department Tallahassee, FL:
We have a 2014 Winnebago Tour that had oodles of issues. It needed a new roof, multiple new ACs, a large exterior dent repaired, among many other things. We wanted to sell after the repairs were done. I contacted Optimum RV and was put in touch with the sales team in Ocala, FL. I explained in as much detail as possible the hurdles that we faced. In the back of my mind I was thinking that we might just need to sell it for parts and told them as much.
The unit was delivered to the Tallahassee location (a new location that did not yet have a sales team and the closest location to our home) on September 17, 2024. I touched base with the Ocala team many times but did not receive any updates from my queries. On October 31, I received a voicemail from the Ocala team stating that I needed to pick up the RV from the Tallahassee location because of the extent of the damages. ..?? I finally got someone on the phone in Ocala and she said that I was welcome to reach out to the Tallahassee location and speak to them... (a quintessential, "not my problem", attitude).
Here is where my 1 Star review for the Ocala Sales Team and their lack of communication, effort and accountability goes to 5
Stars for the Tallahassee Service Team.
I called the Tallahassee location and spoke with Ms. Shian. She was bright and cheery and told me that she was new and did not know about the RV but she would help me get the answers I needed. And she did. She directed me to the Service Manager, Mr. Brandon Desmond. He was very familiar with the unit and was not pleased that I had been told to pick it up as they most certainly would be able to fix it. He was open and honest about the extent of the damages, the cost, and the timeframe. It was not going to be quick and there were going to be delays since the unit was older and some pieces might take some time to locate.
The process has been slow, but the unit is finally in the works to being handed off to the Tallahassee Sales Team!
In the course of my time working with the Tallahassee Service Team, it sounds like there is new management that has prioritized team building between the different departments and streamlining processes to ensure things go more smoothly at their location. Hopefully their efforts will be recognized and mirrored at the Ocala location.
In the few months I worked with the Ocala Sales Team I had approximately 5-6 different sales team members working with me come and go. At the Tallahassee location, Shian is still going strong and is as helpful and hard working as she was when we first spoke last November (it is now August 2025). Brandon, the Service Manager, is continuing to grow and train his team. He is incredibly thorough and takes pride in his people and his work. Seeing that kind of retention speaks volumes of a company and their ability to adapt and to grow.
Thank you Optimum RV of Tallahassee!
Worst experience
Service, registration and warranty
SERVICE: We took RV for some minor repairs right after purchase with claims of being repaired, but continued to have the same problem and found out that the issue was not never repaired, forcing us to complete the majority of repairs on our own.
REGISTRATION: It took over 60 days to receive our plates.
WARRANTY: Paid off RV, requested warranty refund and have been getting the run around since pay off date. Have received nothing but excuses with total disregard to customer needs. Our bad experience started the day of purchase April 2nd 2025 to current date of August 18, 2025.
Decietful and Dishonest
After speaking to the sales manager he stated he wkuld call back with a video tour off a camper. He was dishonest and decietful. Never called back after waiting 3 hours. Lied on the phone. Dont go near this place.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM
Bought a camper in 2023 and purchased a warranty as well with it. Traded the camper in a couple months ago and canceled the warranty. Warranty company sent the remaining balance/check to Optimum RV and said they would forward it to me. 2 months later and MANY repeated calls and messages left for Optimum's manager, Optimum has basically stolen my money at this point.
Thus place is very unprofessional
I give this place one star due to the friendliness the staff here shows, but of course they want you to buy or sell. My husband and I traded in our camper on a consignment camper from their lot on 06/26/2025. It is now 07/31/2025, and our old camper has not been paid off yet, and the loan paperwork just got completed 07/25/25. Our first payment on the new camper was on 07/26/2025. We now have two payments to make on two separate campers, in which one we no longer have and is already listed for sale on their lot. I have made phone call after phone call and am always given "They will give you a call back, they are currently busy," or "I will have to talk to so and so, then give you a call back." I have yet to receive a phone call back. The business they provide after they make a sale is very unprofessional.
I would not give them any stars if…
I would not give them any stars if possible. I met with Will Goodman to look at a Newmar coach worth 250k I had concerns with the way the rv shook when driving. Well make sure you read all these reviews before dealing with this company. I should have read more and BELIEVED them. When I had my concerns after driving the rv Will had me sign a "WE OWE" aggrement stating the issues found and with that aggrement I had to put $5000.00 down or they would not even touch the rv to make any repairs to interest me in purchasing the rv. We after we discussed tires Will plain told me if we have to put a set of tires on it we will. You put the 5k down and we will fix it. Period or we will give you your money back. Well that turned out to be a huge LIE. After I left after leaving 5k as a good faith toward them repairing the rv to my liking so we could purchase everything just stalled. They repaired the few minor cabinet repairs that I could have done in an hour. But the biggest concern that I clearly stated to Will was the shaking when driving. Optimum took it to their guy and stated the rv still shook after getting tires balanced and that it was supposed to shake. This will be my fourth rv and none of them shake as I am in the tire and repair business and all my rvs drive like a dream. Wll after they said they could not repair it I tried to help and found a tire store close to them and they said they would take a look at it. after the tech put on 2 tires and said the other tires were out of round and it needed more tires. I had not got off the phone with the tires store when Will texted me from Optimum and said they were picking up the rv and it drove smooth as can be. Now why would the tire store guy tell me different. We were suppose to drive down june 14th to trade our newmar and pick up the newer one. Being skeptical I flew down instead and to my instincts the rv just still shook. We went back to the store and I was unhappy. I was tired of the back and fourth with the sales manager so Will got Rich Wosnoski one of the sales managers. As I stated to Rich what was discusse on the we owe aggrement Rich clearly stated the rv was in ready to go condition and if I did not take it I would not get my money back. I asked 3 times and Rich stated I was not getting it back. Well I left with out the rv and had to hire an attorney and go back and fourth for a month and a half. I spent hours on the phone calling the storeg getting put on hold for hours and never being able to get a hold of anyone I finally talked to someone who cared in the customer relations department. She read my attourneys letter and she helped me get a refund. DO NOT do business with these people as all the reviews are 100% TRUE as I found out. What was supposed to be a dream purchase turned into a nightmare. DO NOT USE OPTIMUM RV as they will take advantage of you and FORCE you into subpar rvs. AND THEY WERE ASKING THE HIGHEST AMOUNT FOR THAT EXACT RV I COULD GET ELSEWHERE FOR OVER 10-15K LESS!! Thats what you get for not reading reviews!!! AND KEEP IN MIND THEY HAVE A SERVICE THAT GETS RID OF THE BAD REVIEWS AS THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE SUBMITTED THIS REVIEW BUT I WILL KEEP POSTING TO HELP OTHERS!!!
Stay away from these con artists
Stay away from these con artists. Drove 2.5 hours after agreeing on a price and putting a deposit down on the camper that the salesperson said “locked in my price” just for them to tell me they screwed up and had me down for a $10,000 down payment when there was no discussion of a down payment. After they admitted their wrongdoing they did nothing to try to make it right. Will never buy from them again and will spread the word to go elsewhere.
They are liars!
I would give them a negative number if I could. Wasted almost all morning talking to Taylor Kittle about them buying my RV. He said he could help me with them buying it. Then after a lot of questions he then tells me my only option is consignment!! Then he said he didn't lie about it. Well, evading telling the truth is the same as lying!
THEIR WEBSITE SAYS NOTHING ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO PURCHASE BASED ON AGE!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
