Thanks to your colleague Ali Khalid for his help and courtesy - I have not been able to access invoices on the account I manage as Treasurer of a village hall. I have been trying to sort this out since January. I have phoned numerous times before and, despite assurances that everything will be correct in 24 hours, the correction had never been made. Fortunately with Ali's help my 7 month old problem is cleared.

Do not believe the Trustpilot score for this company and, instead, look at the percentage of 1 star reviews.
So many people have given a 1 star review and that is being really, REALLY generous!
Have charged me £1,000s because they said I had not informed them of a name change on my account, so have been charging me the the deemed rate retrospectively, so my bill is heartattackingly high!
I have sent them proof that I had informed them of the name change and instead of rebilling me accordingly, they've given me a deadlock letter to take to the Ombudsman.
Consequently, they get a 1 star review from me. Really avoid this company, they are terrible to work with and will not listen to anything you have to say. I think their customer support programme needs to be reevaluated, based on the amount of 1 star reviews they get.
Also, Trustpilot, if they've been given 23% of 1 star reviews (that's about 1,720 people), how can their average be 4.5 out of 5? That's confusing because that makes them look a legitimate company but with 23% of 1 star reviews, that's a lot of disgruntled people!

Do not use Opus, they have a company called Bionic do their dirty work, signing unsuspecting customers up their exorbitant contracts. Nobody tells you until its to late. When you phone Opus they won't even talk to you about it saying it's not their problem- call Bionic, but guess what, it's also not bionics problem. So Opus just threaten you. This is not an isolated incident and Opus are just as guilty for permitting these brokers with what is essentially extortion. There are hundreds of businesses in the UK with the same problem, BBC Watchdog also ran a feature on it. Stay away.

I’ve been with Opus for many years now without any problems, UNTIL RECENTLY!!!
They started taking large unsolicited sums from my account when I was well in credit with them, putting me under financial strain. I am glad to be leaving Opus!

Had an issue with my smart meter and billing. Polly was well informed, professional and very helpful in explaining what could be done immediately and what would happen in terms of a replacement meter in due course.

Lewis listened well and understood the issues I was having with our smart meter not sending reads and also the option if required to enter reads on the portal. He was able to resolve the matter within a few minutes by doing a restart and logging back into portal. Thanks for your help today.

Been trying to get a refund since January 2024 for almost £3000. You make it so difficult for me to get MY MONEY back. When I cancel the DD you want to penalise me to the tune of 7.5% discount removed and send threatening letters. It’s ok for you but not for your customers. Absolute shambles of a company to deal with. Countless hours lost on the phone jumping though hoops with explanations as to why we cannot have our money back. How you have 4 stars on here is beyond me, it really is.
