Return purchaser satisfied again!

Return purchaser.... Bit more expensive, perhaps, but absolutely worth every penny. The quality is exceptional and really easy to put up. Love 'em!! You need look nowhere else for well made blinds. Customer service really good too - of course.

Shambles

I ordered a blind from Order Blinds and also paid £10 for their Mismeasurement Insurance for peace of mind. When I needed to use it, I followed the process exactly as instructed, returned the required parts at my own cost, and provided all requested information.

What followed was a frustrating and drawn-out process that took a month to resolve and required 25 emails. Despite doing everything asked of me, multiple errors were made behind the scenes, resulting in incorrect parts being sent and repeated delays. Even the company later described the situation as “something of a fiasco”.

To be fair, the customer service team were genuinely excellent throughout. Stacey and May were professional, responsive, and clearly trying their best to resolve issues that were not of their making. However, even outstanding customer service could not make up for the fundamental failures in the process and fulfilment.

In the end, what should have been a simple insurance-backed replacement became a month-long exercise in frustration and chasing updates.

While I appreciate the efforts of the customer service staff, the overall experience fell far below an acceptable standard. I cannot recommend Order Blinds based on my experience.

*UPDATE*

For transparency, I acknowledge that Order Blinds ultimately refunded the full cost of the blind. However, this was only offered after I submitted a formal complaint and challenged the initial goodwill gesture.

The first offer was a refund of 50% of the replacement blind's cost. After taking into account the Mismeasurement Insurance fee and the cost of returning the blind, this would have left me only around £11 better off, despite the issue taking a month to resolve, requiring 25 emails, and involving multiple admitted errors by Order Blinds.

At no point were the insurance fee or return postage refunded, and compensation was not offered until I raised a formal complaint regarding the handling of the matter.

Whilst I appreciate that Order Blinds eventually agreed to refund the full cost of the blind, my review reflects the entire customer experience, not just the final outcome. I do not believe it is unreasonable to expect better when a straightforward insurance claim becomes a month-long process due to repeated mistakes.

I stand by my review as a fair reflection of my experience and have been careful to acknowledge the excellent service provided by Stacey and May throughout.

We fully acknowledge that the handling of your Mismeasurement Insurance claim fell well below the standard we strive to provide, and we understand why you found the experience frustrating. As we explained throughout our correspondence, a series of unusual errors occurred behind the scenes, resulting in delays and incorrect parts being supplied. This was an isolated situation, and we sincerely apologised for the inconvenience caused.

That said, we are disappointed to receive this review given the steps we took to resolve the matter. Although the replacement blind was successfully supplied and is now in use, we provided a full refund for the affected blind as a gesture of goodwill in recognition of the difficulties you experienced, as well as refunding the redelivery charges. This went beyond the terms of the Mismeasurement Insurance and was intended to reflect our commitment to resolving the issue fairly.

We are pleased that you found Stacey and May helpful throughout the process, and we will ensure your comments are passed on to them. We have also reviewed the circumstances internally to help prevent a similar situation from occurring again.

While we regret that your experience did not meet expectations, we hope the actions we took to acknowledge the issues and provide a fair resolution demonstrate that we genuinely value our customers and take responsibility when things go wrong.

Issues with missing/incorrect parts but quickly resolved!

I ordered 2 batches of double roller blinds to fit a couple of bay windows in our flat, each with 3 blinds.

Pros:
-Great quality (particularly the sheer blind - nice fabric not cheap plastic netting)
- Custom sizes with measuring insurance and clear measuring guidance
- Very quick courier delivery once made
- Effective and polite customer support rectifying issues

Cons:
- Each batch had an item missing or incorrect although quickly replaced free of charge (first had the incorrect brackets and missing chain adapters, second didn’t have fixings or end cover plates when the first batch did)
- Poor instructions on fitting
- End cover plates are flimsy for the double roller blinds and didn’t fit together well (luckily hidden in my install)
- Upgraded metal bottom bars are nice but the end plastic plugs keep falling out.

Despite the negative points raised the team were easily contactable by phone and email (not an annoying bot, a real kind human!) who were quick to sort any issues. I would recommend them spend some time developing some clearer step by step installation instructions with a parts list, as I was unaware I was missing pieces until my second order came.

I would order from OrderBlinds again.

You only know how good the Customer…

You only know how good the Customer Service is when you need them and Order Blinds are on another level of service. After a problem revealed its self. they were on it lake a rash. Problem solved the same day. Can not thank them enough. The go to place for quality blinds

Kitchen Day Night Blinds

After researching many suppliers on the web for blinds I found this company called “ Order Blinds” their web and pricing was the best by far from all the others, they, offer up to 20 free samples, which I did order 6 different white samples, glad I did as you can see and feel the texture of the material far better then just looking at the photos on the website. I placed the order for Day & Night blinds two sets for the kitchen windows, different sizes, delivery very quickly, I received the blinds in an amazing high quality packaging (well done) the blinds are perfect exactly what I ordered. The design of the cassette and the material inlay is so good and the mechanism is of a high engineering standard.
A solid construction and the drop size that I gave 97cm I noticed that when the blinds are full closed at 97cm the blinds are closed (Night) so they had even calculated that. Well done I can highly recommend this company, excellent service and quality for a great price. Regards Lester Millard

Really pleased with Order Blinds

Really pleased with Order Blinds. Very fast delivery, great quality product and great customer service. 1 out of our 4 parcels was damaged in transit. Kept up to date by Ed and replacement sent which arrived in a couple of days. Highly recommend them.

New Flat blinds

We ordered vertical blinds for our sons new flat. The sample arrived very quickly and measuring up and placing the order, we luckily added the measurement insurance. The delivery was prompt and as predicted at order time. Unfortunately I hadnt noticed that the patio doors opened inwards and would foul the rail. Support from the chat, especially Ed, was first class in helping me re measure for external fixing. A replacement arrived swiftly, and the blinds were all mounted and installed in a couple of hours. A great service and quality product. I would recommend them

Ordered 2 Cordless Spring Loaded Roller…

Ordered 2 Cordless Spring Loaded Roller Blinds - exactly the same as a blind previously ordered from Order Blinds.

When the 2 new blinds were installed, it became apparent that there were no end caps to cover the blind mechanism (provided previously with other blind). I called Order Blinds to be informed that the 'blind manufacturer' no longer provides the end caps with those blinds and that there is a 'note' on the site to this affect.

I am now left with 2 blinds which look unfinished and cheap - quite why Order Blinds are still using this manufacturer is questionable - they are selling incomplete blinds.

The lady at Order Blinds who assisted, advised me that the end caps are generic and can be purchased on Amazon etc - not the case, I cannot source the required end caps anywhere.

Will not be using Order Blinds again.

As discussed during your call with our team, the bracket covers are no longer supplied by the manufacturer for this particular blind system. This is clearly noted on the product page and also reflected within the product imagery to help customers make an informed choice before ordering.

While we appreciate that you preferred the previous style supplied with your earlier order, the blinds received are complete and fully functional as designed by the manufacturer, with the covers previously serving a purely cosmetic purpose only.

Our team did try to assist by suggesting possible third-party alternatives, although unfortunately we are unable to guarantee availability or compatibility of aftermarket parts.

We understand that disappointment can sometimes lead to frustration, however we do expect all communication with our customer service team to remain respectful which on this occasion, it was not. Our staff are here to help and we do not tolerate abusive or inappropriate behaviour towards them.

We’re disappointed to hear that you do not intend to order with us again, but we do appreciate your previous custom and your feedback has been noted.
