This company looks uk based as the website ends with.co.uk and there is a uk flag. However the product ships from China and therefore delivery is way longer than they claim. The phone number is us and not useable. After a long argument I have been promised a refund. We’ll see.

Would give a negative 3 if I could, the brace is cheaply made, does not fit well (not because it’s too small). I messaged Orthomen to return the item:
1) I must pay to ship it back, what kind of bull is that?
2) I need the packing slip (which they never put in)
3) if I return it and they determine it’s used, they state they will keep it and not send it back (it was only tried on, but given the other shady aspects, I’m sure they are going to do whatever they want)

This company is 100% shady, DO NOT buy from them!

Please do not use this company it looks legit but is a total scam and further to that they only take payment with pay pal and good luck getting your money back through them

Appalling customer service - they do not respond to emails or phone calls (even when calling their California "office"). Only responded when I got paypal involved. You are expected to return items to China at your cost. Good luck filling out the customs form correctly for that. Did not get refund. £160 wasted. Avoid them.

The company's UK numbers are false, they don't reply to emails and there is NO return policy.

We purchased a knee brace for my wife on the basis of "One Size Fits Most" well it didn't fit and we are having to raise a dispute with the credit card company.

I bought a knee brace that was far too long for my leg. I have contacted the company for a refund and get no answer. This brace was over £130 and I believed it was a UK company. The brace arrived very quickly. I can not get a reply from them. Do not use this company.

After purchasing a groin brace I then looked at the reviews (stupidly I did it the wrong way round im normally straight on the reviews first) I then contacted them straight away as I thought it was a scam site but I got no reply, but then I got it like 3 or 4 days later considering it came from China it was very quick! I haven’t used it yet but have tried it on and seems ok

Having bought a Knee brace from this company that was delivered wrong (right instead of left) I looked to return it only to find the address and phone number doesn’t exist. So asked PayPal for a refund only for them to tell me I have to send it to China! at my cost! Absolute disgrace. Avoid this company at all costs and ignore the “positive” reviews as they are obviously fictitious.

Please avoid, they are a scam company,. I ordered an expensive leg brace, they sent the wrong one, and wouldn't reply to emails or phone calls, then I find out that they're operating from china. Luckily I used PayPal and am in the process of getting a refund

In my opinion, this is another scam company. Ordered an expensive leg brace for £102 and seven weeks later, still not received. I've now sent four emails to the email address provided on the website, and also to the email address on their PayPal, but haven't even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement, much less an explanation or apology.

Complaint was made to PayPal and even then it took the seller three weeks to respond to PayPal. Seller has now provided information to show that the item was sent, but obviously that's not the same thing as me receiving the item.

The tracking hasn't moved for seven weeks now - hasn't even reached the UK. I consider this item to be well and truly lost, and it should be simple for the seller to claim on his courier service if he did everything properly. But still it seems he's reluctant to accept the obvious, and is insisting that the item was sent.

Having read all below, i concur. Thought it was Australian company, still haven't received item from 5 weeks ago order. They won't answer any emails. Would never have bought if knew it was from China absolute scam. Shame i hadn't checked these reviews but website looked so trustworthy.

I was duped. Bought this off the orthomen web site....what a huge mistake...didn’t know it was coming from China ....my physio said it’s not the right knee brace for me...private knee braces sooooo expensive..£400 ...this was a good price on internet (£147)...oh boy,what a con firm..

This is not a UK company. Their website is deliberately misleading. The two addresses listed on their website are false / do not exist. The phone numbers also dont work.

This company is actually in China.

The medical items they sell are of a very poor standard, but marked up massively in price.

I made the mistake of buying a knee brace from this website, as I thought that it was a UK company... but the item was sent from china.

I then had to pay £20 to return it to China, but the parcel went missing!

I OPENED A DISPUTE CASE WITH PAYPAL AND EVENTUALLY GOT A FULL REFUND, INCLUDING £15 TOWARDS THE RETURN POSTAGE.

The seller was non responsive.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Bought a brace from them and returned it per their instructions..7 weeks later they claimed they never got it so they cannot refund my money so I am out the 130$ I paid for it as well as 30 $ more to ship it back to China. Stay away from this company

This brace is not as good as the company makes it out to be on the website. Want to return the knee brace and tried calling the number to speak to them to find number invalid. Emailed and bounced back and said does not exist! Need help please! Thank you.

Received brace from Orthomen and although they claimed it to fit all I found it wouldn't fit me. Called for an RMA approval and was emailed that I would have to ship it back to China and include the packing slip which came with the brace. There was no packing sheet to fill out. I found their return requirements to be extremely designed to discourage returns.

Love this brace. BYE BYE knee pain. In addition, no more rashes from knee braces. This is the first knee brace where I have Not gotten a heat rash!!!

I wish I had found these very poor reviews on Trustpilot before I bought from orthomen.co.uk. Item took a long time to be delivered from China. Poor quality item that started to fall to pieces after wearing it four times. Very poor returns policy and customer care. They will only replace the item if you haven't worn it but of course you don't know it's going to fall to pieces until you wear it. Item has to be returned at your expense with no guarantee of it being replaced with a better quality item. Do not buy from them.
