Our goal is to give people the chance to explore what furniture makes them feel good in their home and to perhaps give buying online a try for the first time. If you are someone who appreciates having the time, space and advice to explore possibilities of what you might buy, then maybe Out & Out Original is for you. If you've ever been that person who's checked the internet to learn more about a product or even price check whilst in a store, then Out & Out Original is definitely for you! We know at times it feels safer to buy from the known establishment or even to get sucked in to buying something not quite right, but before you do that, try to remember the last time you explored and tried something new and how liberating it felt. Insolvent Company - No Communication or Refund

The company has gone into insolvency (look at them on Facebook and their post 23/8/24 confirms it).

They taking orders and advertising right until this day (we ordered on 18/8/24) and did not send any communications other than this facebook post which I've only just seen. Looks like we will not receive our furniture or any refund. Please do utilise Section 75/Chargeback if you can, I'm hoping this will refund our purchase. (Google 'Section 75' and the Money Saving Expert site has a good guide)

Shocking experience, out and out have ceased trading

I placed an order end of June for the pre-order of the Palmo set, having tried various methods of communication emails/phone calls, still nothing from them. I sent them an email yesterday only to receive one back saying that they have ceased trading. I rang Castlehill Insolvency and they confirmed that Out and Out have gone into liquidation. I am on the list for a refund, but I am not building my hopes up, she advised me to contact my bank and file for a chargeback. I had already done that before speaking with them. Absolutely shocking!!!

Only giving one star because I have to

Only giving one star because I have to, otherwise it would be zero! I ordered an item 3 months ago, still haven't got it. Keep being promised delivery, have even had the courier give me dates and waited in all day. But nothing! And no correspondence unless I chase, and even then it's just a sorry it will be delivered between these dates. I'd cancel my order if ot wasn't something I really need and can't get elsewhere!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY OR THROUGH B&Q!

This company has ceased trading

This company has ceased trading. I ordered a garden sofa two weeks ago and hadn’t heard anything from them. I emailed them to ask about my order, only to get an automated email back stating the business has entered administration. The money has been taken from my credit card, so now I have to contact Visa to lodge a claim to get the money back. Do not order anything!

Ordered 13th May 24

Ordered 13th May 24, still waiting completion of delivery, Web site closed down, but you can still order from Amazon and B&Q?.
This company is the worst company I have purchased any goods from.
If anybody is reading this review please do your research before any purchase and check company house for owners details, as most likely they will open the same company in another name.

Company has gone bust

Company has gone bust and I havent had my order. Ive emailed the insolvency company as the bounce back email suggested and it doesnt deliver to that email address!!! Has anyone else got any advice on how to get my money back?

Appalling service

Appalling service. Ordered beginning of August got text from delivery company saying contact company. Told it was delivery issue. Asked for money back if not delivered within 7 days. No refund. Now found out they have gone bust and then still took my money. Not alot but still fraudulent. Have had products previously with no problems.
A set of crooks taking money whilst knowing they were going bust and then to not refund when requested I have the evidence to this effect. Terrible.

Ordered in May now August ???

Ordered in May confirmation said dude din stock 18th June as I wanted this for a family party July 13th was happy . I chased nearer 10th July and had a notification come back 29th July that it was in Felixstowe and was out for delivery. NOw 28th August and still not arrived. Gone on some reviews and see that the compAny is now closed.

Poor quality, non-existent customer service, no refunds, no items.

Placed an order on the 19th June for an outdoor furniture set, parasol, and furniture cover totaling a few pence short of £1000. Received a follow-up email stating that the furniture was in the country and a delivery should be expected by 25th June.
25th June came around, no delivery happened. Contacted their customer service to request an update, and received no response. Contacted their customer service again a few days later, to then get a reply stating that a delivery was being booked, and sure enough, two days later, our delivery arrived.

Over the course of the following few weeks, we started to open the packages (there were a LOT of boxes) and we started to notice a significant amount of damaged parts to the furniture set, or pieces that were dirty, or that simply did not fit together. After we opened 4 out of the 8 chairs and noticed that only one chair was actually any good, we contacted the company to request a collection and refund of the entire order, which they said was fine as it was written into their terms and conditions.

I then waited for around two weeks for them to organize a collection of the furniture, also requiring several follow up emails before they actually sent a company to come and pick everything up. I was then told to wait 10-15 business days for a refund.

15 business days passes, and sure enough, no refund came. I contacted the company by email to be met with a notice that they have stopped trading.

So to summarize:
- Poor item quality leading to returns/replacements.
- Non-existent customer service, prepare to be ghosted for days or weeks at a time.
- No refund issued as I still don't have my refund, of almost £1000! And no item to show for it!

Absolutely shocking business practices, and I'm genuinely happy and not shocked that this company has folded.

Appalling customer service

Ordered a furniture set on pre order. Delivery was fine (late July), but noticed that two of the furniture pieces had been damaged. Went through the process of filing a claim per the website and their claims team advised I could receive a partial refund. Weeks later and having chased 5 times, no response whatsoever. Frustratingly, the phone lines do not allow you to ‘hold’ - you simply receive an automated message indicating lines are busy and they cut you off. Seems the company has now gone into insolvency as websites and phones are down. I’ve contacted the insolvency company but received a bounce back. Appalling customer service and I’m still left with damaged furniture.

Zero communication from this company

Zero communication from this company. I paid bank in June and it’s now end of august and I have no idea where my furniture is. I have contacted PayPal to find out what can be done about getting a refund.

Been waiting since early May for my…

Been waiting since early May for my garden furniture. Purchased through Debenhams who kept telling me the supplier Out&Out will deliver soon. First in May, then June and now we’re almost in September and nothing. Other reviewers have mentioned they may have gone bust, so trying to get £700 through my credit card company.

Absolutely rubish customer service

Absolutely rubish customer service. Whenever I call it goes on waiting and stay there for ages no one actually answers. I sent emails and no-one replies. I have ordered a rattan garde set in May and was supposed to get it in mid July and they didn't deliver it till this day. No one tries to explain what is happening, how am I expected to know what happened to my order and when is it ever going to come. Summer is over and the set is not there yet.
