Worst customer experience I have ever experienced. Our order was delayed for months I had to contact Outnorth several times to check on the order. Everything ended with my family missing out on planned camping trips and that I had to cancel my order, with no compensation except the money back. I urge you all to not buy you outdoor gear at Outnorth
The worst customer service experience ever
Without a doubt the worst customer service experience in my life.
"Lost" emails, different departments blaming each other, no one calling back when promised to do so, no one answering email, the list goes on and on and on....
I started my case with them in mid-august and it is still not resolved as of 20 Nov 2020 and no one has ever called me back even after asking to speak to a manager several times.
Dear outdoor friends, I urge you to buy your gear elsewhere.
Edit: some time after my comment here OutNorth reached out to me and did their best to lighten the frustration. Just wish it didn't took that long.

Customer service no answer emails
Customer service have stopped to answer my emails without answering why the discount is advertised on the products field of the basket if the product is supposed to not be in campaign.
If you buy in Outnoth hope for no issues as nobody there have the aims to help you!!!
Bought a pair of boots
Bought a pair of boots, they said that they would ship my order within two work days. That did not happen. I suppose the reason is that they want to make you buy the premium shipping service.
Update:
Customer support replied and said that the order would be sent on Monday. On Monday I received another message that there had been some kind of problem in their data system so that my order was out of stock even though the website showed that it was in stock. I canceld my order since they said that they won't restock that item.
Checked the site today and noticed that the item was in stock now in another colour.
Customer support did reply swiftly and was friendly, though they did not provide correct information.

Not the best experience but very kind costumer service
I bought a tent from outnorth.se - I put it up and slept in it for one night to see if it lived up to my requirements. Unfortunately it did not. Due to a lack of guylines in front of the tunneltent, it did not keep tight and water assembled on top of the tent. I immediately cleaned the tent, wrapped it up and contacted costumer services. They said that I could not return it because I did not put up the tent inside and because I spend the night in it. I had not complied with Outnorths recommendations for assessing a product - even though I was never informed of this interpretation of the law which states:
“Du kan ha rätt till ersättning för värdeminskning om konsumenten använder eller hanterar varan på ett sätt som inte är nödvändigt för att undersöka den. För att ha rätt till ersättning måste du vid avtalet ha informerat konsumenten om förutsättningarna för värdeminskningsavdrag”
This has not been the best experience. However costumer services have been kind and followed up after this review offering me a discount. Although it does not resolve my problem I must say that they have handled the issue alright.

So basically I've bought a lot of stuff…
So basically I've bought a lot of stuff from Outnorth but this was a very bad experience. I have been looking for a bag for a long time and I bought a Fjällräven SplitPack. As I got it, I wanted to see how much it can hold, what are the functions etc. But it was not what I wanted so I returned it.
As soon as I made the return, I realised that I left an item inside of it. I emailed the company straight away and they said that they will notify the return department. Time went on, I didn't hear anything so I emailed them again.
Got an answer, and I quote:
"Hi again,
It seems like our return department forgot to look after your hair straightener. I'm really sorry for this.
Your Splitpack Large, Black OneSize is now delivered to another customer, but I've sent an email to this customer asking if they could send your hair straightener back to us so we can send it back to you.
I'll get back to you as soon as I hear anything from the "new owner of your bag".
Ok, I wrote to them. I can wait.
The next reply from them was:
" Hej,
I'm sorry to inform you that the new owner of the bag did not find your hair straightener in the bag. It's not that I don't believe you, but there's no prove that your hair straightener was in the bag when you returned it.
I have really tried to help you, but I'm afraid I can't do anything more to solve this problem.."
I understand how these companies work, with not having enough resources, but they way this was handled, I think they just suck big time! They had enough time to put my return on the side as I informed them way ahead before the return got to them!
Yes, they said they compensate and give me a 200SEK voucher.. How "lovely"...

The worth store that I have ever seen, both in handling and customer service. I have a case with them and surely escalate that to justice.
Never buy again from them and recommend you to never be cheated by their faking offers.

I was a happy to see that Outnorth had a Black Friday event as well. However, they have a lot to learn from North-American customer relations. Just copying Black Friday is not enough.
At their current Black Week I made an order for a present for the birthday of a German family members. For the order I wanted to use my North-American credit card and get the order delivered to Germany. Credit cards are using the billing address, which is saved with the issuing bank, as identification, when you pay online.
Their webpage in German does only accept German billing addresses, but not the correct North-American billing address of my North-American credit card. Their webpage in English is accepting the North-American billing address, but for the delivery it is not accepting Germany, but all the countries of the rest of the world.
Finally, I made the order on the English language version of the webpage, put in the German address, but was unfortunately forced to use a non-German destination country. Instead I made a request that the order shall be delivered to Germany.
Customer service denied this. Instead they insist for a delivery to Germany I have to make another order with the German version of the webpage and use any German billing address. Impossible, since the correct billing address is in North-America.
Good prices easy delivery and returns.
Made a few orders now, the prices are very competitive (especially for Sweden). They seem to be very clear on what is and what isn't in stock. The gear comes on time and to the correct pick up location. Tracking is accurate and accessible with postnord. I get a free return service with an easy to use pre-printed label.

Because of an unknown internet issue i got double paid for a single product and asked them to refund it asap. But nothing changed here.

I have used Outnorth for 3 orders so far and I have nothing to complain about. Quick shipment every time, and all orders come with a return postal label in case anything need to be exchanged (I have not used this option). I have been in contact with the customer service on Facebook chat and had no complaints.
They very often have various discounts/offers (3 for 2, extra 10 percent discount etc) - I would prefer if the prices were just generally lower instead of having to hunt/wait for these discounts to appear before ordering.
