Communication with Maria was good. When she was out of the office, support staff responded. The itinerary was detailed and accurate. This made the entire trip very smooth and easy.

We recently worked with Maria from Out of Office Travel to plan a special trip to South Africa for my husband’s 50th birthday, and she did a fantastic job. From exploring Cape Town to visiting the beautiful wineries, and finishing with an unforgettable safari at Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, everything was seamless. Maria was helpful, responsive, and really understood what we were looking for. The whole experience felt well thought-out and personal. We were so happy with how it all went that we've already booked our summer holiday with her again this year. Highly recommend her if you’re planning something a bit special.

My family and I just returned from an unforgettable two-week trip to Italy, and it would not have been so amazing without Maria from Out Of Office. From start to finish, everything was flawlessly planned and executed. We visited four different cities, and every transfer was smooth and stress-free with a guide supporting which really eased the stress on my older parents.

The local guides Maria arranged were absolutely amazing — knowledgeable, personable, and added so much depth to each location we toured. The hotels she selected were not only luxurious, but also perfectly located right in the heart of the action, with stunning views we’ll never forget.

And the food — I’d expect nothing less from Italy, but it all exceeded those expectations. Every restaurant Maria recommended was a hit, but the standout was Florence, where I had the most incredible osso buco of my life. She really understands how to blend comfort, culture, and cuisine into a seamless experience.

If you're thinking of planning a trip, I can’t recommend Maria and Out Of Office highly enough. They took all the stress out of planning and left us with nothing but beautiful memories.

We booked our London and Paris trip with Alice Evans. She really hit it out of the park with the Clermont Hotel Charing Cross. It was a top notch hotel and I would recommend their incredible breakfast even if you’re not staying there.
Royal Tea at Kensington Palace that included a walking tour to the venue and tickets to visit the state rooms was amazing and an experience that we likely wouldn’t have found on our own. We took the Chunnel to Paris.
The tours of Versailles and the Louvre were great and almost private with only one other couple or person on each.
Alice was easy to work with for planning, making some changes and giving us a free day in each city that we really appreciated.

Absolutely brilliant!!!!! Wanted to go to Crete and the flights were challenging so Ben stepped in. He was fabulous, asked us what we were looking for, made suggestions we hadn’t even thought of and completely prepared our holiday for us.
Flights, private luxury transfers, amazing 5star hotel and lovely little extra touches- all arranged quickly and with full consultation with ourselves.
Couldn’t have asked for anymore, the company went over and above to get us our perfect holiday.

Maria Gardner helped coordinate a bucket list trip around an already planned cruise around Japan for myself and family/friends. She worked with local vendors in Thailand, Japan and South Korea to create an exceptionally tailored experience for a month long trip. We was looking for a “Bespoke “ experience and she delivered. Communication was excellent and included numerous emails, calls and zoom meetings!

We just booked our dream trip for my husband’s 40th birthday—a safari in South Africa—and it’s all thanks to Millicent! She is incredibly warm, personable, and truly went above and beyond to make this experience possible for us. We had our hearts set on a specific lodge that was a bit over budget, but Millicent worked her magic, negotiated with the lodge, and somehow managed to deliver everything on our wishlist—under budget. My travel consultant Ben Cousins was extremely helpful, knowledgable and professional. When I first contacted Out of Office I only had the rough dates I wanted and little idea about destination. Ben was very patient and put together a bespoke travel experience that suited me perfectly within my budget. As a single older traveller I appreciated his expertise and guidance in all aspects of the trip. He was very thoughtful, considerate of my needs and quick in putting together a wonderful week in London and Scotland with attention to all the details. I always put together my own travel plans but as a new customer to Out of Office I will be using Ben again, it certainly took all the headache out of planning.

We recently worked with Maria who planned a pre and post cruise tour for a group of about 10 of us in Japan. The trip went off seamlessly, despite the fact that we were all arriving and departing on different days and times from different airports. Pick ups and drop offs were prompt with actual white glove service. Maria listened to our personal wants about the trip and planned accordingly, adding things that she quickly learned that we would enjoy. All of the guides on our tours were professional and helpful. It made our trip so much more enjoyable because we didn’t have to stress about how to use public transportation, we didn’t have to worry about getting lost, and didn’t have to spend precious vacation time discussing and disagreeing over how to get from here to there. Our trip couldn’t have been better.

Out of Office was a great find! We have spoken with Samantha from our very first enquiry to now when we have made a deposit on a great trip to Morocco. Samantha patiently helped tailor the exact trip for us--I handled our own air travel using points and our trip nicely takes care of all our transfers ,all our accommodations and a first-day tour at each of three cities that we will visit. Then we have time on our own to see the sites or relax. We'll be using intercity trains for the in-country transport (because we like trains and this was a way to adjust the plans to meet our budget). Now we just have to wait for our trip to start.

Maria has put together an exceptional luxury vacation for my partner and I on the Amalfi Coast, including stays in Capri and Sicily. She spent ample time getting to know us and to understand what would make it a tailored experience just for us. Maria nailed it. She was friendly, very professional and was able to answer our many questions. She was definitely familiar with the varies locations we were interested in. So far, very satisfied. We will review again, once we experience the actual vacation.

My brother-in-law recommended Out Of Office, and specifically Shaye Jolley, to help plan a minimoon and the experience has been 10/10.
