Claire was just amazing. It’s not a nice thing to do, arranging a funeral but she made it easy as she was thorough, explained everything. She was lovely

Both my wife and I completed our Pure Cremation applications together on the same call and both fees have been paid in full however, whilst I received my documentation within a few days, we have not yet received any documentation for my wife.

I contacted Dignity with an enquiry and stated I was getting an overview with no commitment unfortunately I was contacted with phone calls,emails and letters with repetitive information regarding purchasing a product after consideration I took out 2 policies over the phone with a promise of a follow up call from Dignity on 04 Jan 21, this never happened? Once I had signed ?

Needed info on funeral plans. This site gave me the info I wanted.

I had heard that some plans don't pay all of the funeral costs as administrative costs are taken, but this does guarantee to pay for all stated services needed. I am looking for a potential plan that I can possibly set up for my brother. I hold power of attorney for his health care as he has disabilities. It's hard to actually think about the future and that we all depart this earth at some time. I want to do this whilst my brother is capable of making decisions and then we can forget about it and hopefully then live a long, contented life...

Can only comment on how my wife and I feel, it may be different for others. Whilst we appreciated the equity when it was paid into our bank account, it was a very difficult process. The amount of questions, understood but very repetitive. The amount of different people we dealt with either by telephone or email or by post, became rather confusing at times. The constant 'add ons' resulting in extra charges for so many different things added thousands of pounds to the final charges, which of course came out of the equity. Maybe increase the initial amount required by a few thousand pounds would help compensate for this? We really would suggest in hindsight, if there is another way of raising capital, go for it!

The contact was warm and sympathetic and understood my needs.
