About Oxbury Bank Plc
Written by the company
Oxbury Bank was founded to provide the food and farming industries with the funding and support that they need. We are extremely positive about the future of agriculture and the opportunities available for the sector.
Every pound saved with Oxbury goes to help farmers and the wider market produce food, preserve the countryside and deliver a positive impact to the rural economy. We’re a bank that wants to see farming businesses thrive, together we can make that happen.
For most banks, farming is only a small part of their business. At Oxbury, it is what we do.

Communication with this Bank is so difficult
:
Communication is difficult and time wasting
--
I’ve found it incredibly difficult to reinvest in a new bond with Oxbury Bank at the end of its term. Communications are frustratingly slow, especially through their chat line. After wasting so much time on what should be a simple process, and having contacted the bank several times I’ve decided not to reinvest with this bank. Their loss. I had a large sum to reinvest. Incredibly frustrating.

Great interest rate
Great interest rate. Easy to set up the account. A smooth trouble free experience.
Great accounts & service
Great accounts, easy to use site, responsive customer service
Very Limited Fixed rate bonds available
My fixed rate bond is coming up to maturity and looking at the options open to me, I’m disappointed to only see 3&6 month bond’s available.
What happened to the 1,2,3 etc bonds?
Needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere after being a happy customer for the last 5 years.

Banking made easy
Banking seems so easy with Oxbury and on the one occasion when I needed to speak to someone I got through straight away and the issue (my lack of knowledge) was sorted out straight away.
I feel confident my money is being looked after with good interest rates.
Tried to register my new phone to my…
Tried to register my new phone to my savings account today, absolute nightmare. Chat bot useless for any help, eventually given a contact number.
Had to resend my photo ID and take a facetime picture only to receive an email saying this ID had failed. The lady on the phone said someone will be in touch, I said when...unable to confirm a timescale.....utter shambles of a bank and customer service. Once this account matures, my money will be going to another bank.

Beware this bank
Beware, there is no helpline with this bank. I can’t login to my account despite not changing password, pin or device. Still waiting for an email response and assistance after 3 days. Update: over a week now and still not resolved. I strongly suggest you avoid this bank. Just waiting for my fixed rate bond to mature so I can be shot of them.

Rubbish!!!
I have opened a business account and a private savings accounts account. Everything about the process has been arduous and hard work! I have had the accounts for 2-3 months and I will be closing the accounts this week as the tiny bit of extra interest is not worth the aggro. Don’t use them they are rubbish . Also they are not available on Xero, so again this becomes messy and hard work. I cannot see the business account in the phone app and I am just hoping it’s because you have to log in from a computer but I must say I am panicking abit until I can speak with them tomorrow. Again a load of hassle!
