You kept asking me to become a monthly…

You kept asking me to become a monthly donor even after I had chosen to give once. Plus, there was an arrow pointing to $5,000 in the donation selection area; I’d chosen $100, but it looked like I wanted to give five grand. I was worried.

Hunger is Unacceptable

I had a lot of organizations requesting money from me on Giving Tuesday. They were all worthy of my support. If I had a lot of money, I'd share it with all of them, but I don't. I barely make ends meet. For me to give money to an organization, they have to be providing the basic human need for food, water, or shelter. Oxfam was the first one in my mailbox to do that. And one thing I really appreciated when making a donation was that I could use PayPal.

I am fortunate to live in a state where the government cares about people. Throughout this emergency, our public schools, which are closed for classes, have still served more than four million meals to students under the emergency meals programs.

Oxfam America supports a great cause

Oxfam America supports a great cause. Learning how to apply to points when entering contests is somewhat confusing at first, at least on the mobile version. A more detailed explanation on voting measures would be helpful as well.
I would continue to support Oxfam America in the future. I recommend it to friends.

Accountability

There is nothing more critical on the planet today than eliminating poverty. The dedication to this from Oxfam is clear. I am especially pleased by the effort of "holding the powerful accountable." Very seldom are the powerful intent on worthy objectives.

In times of need

In this period where so many people are in need it is essential that we ahve organizations like Oxfam America to help in those areas of the world that need it most. I am glad that I can give just a little to help in that process.

Oxfam helps the helpless

I have had little experience of Oxfam America, but know something of Oxfam's work in Britain. When I was in England in 2005 I was touched to see Oxfam workers collecting donations to help Hurricane Katrina victims. After hearing that Pres. Trump was cutting funding to the WHO and that Oxfam is providing Covid-19 aid in Africa, I decided that Oxfam was an organization to support at this time.
