Packet Viper can help reduce your exposure to attackers around the world. It can give you insight into all of your network traffic and alert you about abnormal traffic patterns. Packet Viper helped me, and at a cost even the smallest organization can afford.

We've been extremely happy with the product and even more importantly, the support from the Packet Viper team! We know first hand how the product has helped to drastically reduce our risk and is key to our multi-layered security strategy.

It is a providing a high level of security protection that is easily managed. Easily managed is key. We are understaffed and this product provides us the ability to make high level Geo-IP threat protection changes on the fly within minutes. It also serves as a useful troubleshooting tool in identifying which machines are sending traffic to places that they shouldn’t be.

Absolutely an amazing product. Installed 2 of these in under 30 minutes, configuration was straight forward and very simply. Unlimited configuration possibilities! After blocking every country in the world except the US, CPU utilization on my cloud platform went down 35% from constant hack attempts, and now this traffic never reaches my network! This product pays for itself, quickly! Definitely a must have!

I have been reviewing the product for 30 days after passing on it 2 years ago. They have incorporated numerous features to almost infinitely manage the extraordinary amounts of traffic going over the internet.
The threats and/or countries being managed include those considered dangerous to your network. PacketViper can prevent them from even getting to your firewall. Excellent example of another layer of "Defense in Depth"

We have been using this product since their Beta days in 2011 and the amount of time, and money we saved is incredible. The routers, firewalls, and spam filters are bored.

I have about 5 PV50s in the field, and they have been very effective at blocking unwanted traffic for my clients. The product works well, no measurable latency in the network, and seems pretty solid. If your configuration is lights-out or no in-house IT support, I'd go with one of the fail to wire versions (the PV100 single bridge or PV300 multiple).
The PV50 will go "braindead" and not pass the bridge traffic if the underlying software has an issue. Thats OK if you recognize it and reboot,

All together it is a game changer in the Cyber Wars.

I couldn't be more pleased with PacketViper, not only as a product but also as a company. Setup and support was flawless and they were with me every step of the way. The product performed better than I could have imagined and I see nothing but upside to this product andcompany.

Up to now, most of the existing IT security tools work on what happened, but very few on the prevention side. Under my point of view there are three main differentiating factors for the VP products:
1. Really user oriented tool, in such a way that a non-network security expert may undersand (and operate) on the information presented by the product.
2. Integrated technology: Although PV does not have a real competitor, there are other vendors that partially cover some of the functions. To get to the accuracy level of PacketViper requests in many cases more than one product to do the same. PacketViper covers the need of the business from small offices or departments to large companies.
3. Price competitive. Although when searching in IT security solution, this is not usually the first criteria, it certainly helps to get such functionalities at a reasonable price.
