Scam - extra charges

Scam. They just charge you extra for parcels. And expect you take pics of weight / dimensions of every parcel you send! Absolutely ridiculous. Poor customer service who ignore you.

I've sent a parcel to Switzerland from…

I've sent a parcel to Switzerland from Spain. I've filled the Custom Invoice at the Packlink website prior to complete the order and pay the shippment.
The parcel was picked up at the next day. Day after I've received the email from Packling, informing me about that the parcel has been blocked at the custom office, and they need to get the another CI ( attached to the email) to proceed. So I've filled and immediately sent by email the form. At the same email I've asked for the confirmation that the CI is filled out correctly and the parcel will be sent. Silence, no answer. So today I've sent the same email, with the same question. Silence, no answer. Now I've checked the reviews and I see that a lot of Packlink's customers are not satisfied with the services of Packing. And the scenario is the same. I hope my parcel will be delivered safely, and I will not have to intervene with the Spanish Consumer Office.
I enclose the quote for the Packlink's email:

"La empresa de transporte encargada de tu envío UN2023COM0000020633 con destino [Switzerland], nos ha informado que la mercancía se encuentra retenida en aduanas. Según el agente aduanero, la información o documentación que la acompaña es incompleta o incorrecta.

Requerimiento del agente de aduanas:

- Factura de aduana. Solo se admite formato PDF no editable, cumplimentada, indicando todos los datos del exportador e importador, así como los detalles del contenido, valor unitario, valor total, moneda, peso unitario, peso total, firma/sello y copia del NIF/CIF del exportador.
Necesitamos la factura integra en inglés para exportar el envío,

¿Qué necesitamos de ti?
Que respondas éste email en un plazo máximo de 24 horas adjuntando la documentación requerida por el agente de aduanas. Después de ese plazo el transportista puede retornar la mercancía al domicilio de origen. En tal caso, Packlink no realizará reembolso del servicio."

Worst customer service !!!!!EVER

Sent a package to Greece. Was returned back as UPS had contacted packlink regarding something missing in the address and packlink never contacted the person receiving and the package was sent back to Spain. After contacting packlink regarding this and about 10 emails back and forth i was told i should be thankful that i wasnt charged for the return shipping to Spain. Worst customer service ever!!!
Y ahora me dicen que me habian dado "resolucion a mi caso" RIDICULOUS!!! la resolucion es que "Nosotros tendríamos que cobrarle 35.93.€+IVA en concepto de gastos de retorno" por devolver el paquete y ni siquiera intentar contactar el destinatario por problema con la direccion segun ellos

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED - NEVER USE PACKLINK!

Ok - I rarely use upper case while writing anything, but this time, the situation demands it. Its a pity I cannot give them zero stars, since my entire experience with them was a total disaster from start to finish. I don't wish the same for my fellow readers so I'm leaving this here.

Before I begin my ordeal, have you noticed how this company doesn't use google reviews, have a contact number, or provide any details on how to reach out to them directly, despite claiming to provide "the best transport service for each shipment".? THAT SHOULD BE THE FIRST WARNING SIGN!

Now, back to my story - moving countries is a stressful experience for everyone and despite charging me a relatively steep price of approximately 850 Euros, I decided to contract Packlink to move my belongings. These were 25 Boxes of varying sizes, some of them with deeply personal and treasured items that you cannot put a price tag on.

The shipment was picked up and I immediately noticed that they were stacking my boxes in a completely uncoordinated way, ignoring my repeated appeals with a dismissive "No te preocupes, todo irá bien (dont' worry everything will be ok)".

Well, it was not...

The moving company badly damaged 22 of my 25 BOXES. The sides were ripped and my clothes were falling out. My belongings were covered in dirt. The books I owned were soggy from the boxes being kept in snow /wet surface, and inside was full of broken items - crockery, utensils, you name it.

I was extremely upset, but I'm a reasonable guy. Packlink is "only a platform", right?

So I decided to contact their customer service. Despite the moving company admitting to the damage, and the damage being actually worth over 300 Euros, I was told that the only Item that I could claim a refund for was my Microwave since that was the only item I had an invoice for.

I was not happy, but OK. Policies are policies. I dont think I am unreasonable.

That's when the REAL NIGHTMARE began.

The customer service agent from packlink made me send him OVER 20 PHOTOS of the damaged microwave, over the course of two weeks, and kept rejecting each photo for superficial reasons. This was despite the fact that:

1. It was obvious that there is damage to my property
2. It was obvious that the damage corresponds to the box
3. The shipping company had admitted to the damage.
4. It was obvious that the microwave was in the box
5. It was obvious that the label on my box corresponds to my order, which is the only open order in their systems.
6. it is obvious that this is my property given the invoice I had provided.

But wait... here's where IT GETS WORSE!

By now I was upset about this, and made it known in my replies to him. That's when his superior reaches out to me, pretending to be my friend and asks me for my IBAN so that he could transfer the amount to me.

The next day, I get an email from their finance department, NOT FOR THE REFUND, but for an 83 EURO SURCHARGE on what I had already paid, since apparently, my luggage was over the specified weight. This was nothing but pure intimidation tactics from their side.

Of course, I'm not paying them a cent more, but it made me wonder: How many more people have been cheated and victimised by this company? How many more have to suffer? How are they allowed to get away with this kind of behavior? Is there something we can do collectively to stop this from happening to other customers?

For me, this review is only the beginning. If anyone reading this has had a similar experience, please reach out to me as I am planning a collective complaint and potential action against this fraudulent business so that others don't suffer in the future. Feel free to repost this.

TL:DR - Say goodbye to both, your money and goods if you decide to use Packlink!

Scam your money one month after the delivery.

It was all good until now they want to charge me a 5 Euros extra one month after the delivery for faking that my parcel was overweight. Around one month ago I handed over my parcel in the shop, there the attendant weighed the parcel and it was within the condition. But then today I received an email from them saying that my parcel was overweight (it was a shoes box with only 1.1 kg but they said it weighed 5 kg.) There is no evidence but simply an email saying your parcel is overweight and they charged from my payment card right on the same day of email. Pity that I would never use Packlink any more.

Atrocious

Atrocious service from start to finish. This applies to both Packlink and InPost.

I sold an item via ebay and used Packlink / InPost as the delivery service. Somehow, they delivered a completely different package to the one sent by me!

- It has taken over three months for Packlink to agree a refund.

- InPost were no help at all and only responded to my emails when I pursued a claim through the small claims court. Despite their name being on the postage label, they ultimately refused any responsibility for the lost package. (Packlink is registered in Spain which means you can't pursue them through the small claims court.)

- InPost and Packlink seem completely incapable of talking to each other.

- Packlink operate a non-sensical claims process which isn't suitable for every scenario.

- Both Packlink and InPost seem determined to be as obstructive as possible in the hope that you give up hope.

Under no circumstances will I ever use Packlink / InPost again. I would rather pay higher postage prices elsewhere and suffer from strike action than deal with either of these companies again.

DO NOT USE

Sent three packages via ebay packlink on the evri network. 1 subsequently went missing - no update on the tracking. I've been trying to contact both evri (who tell me it's packlink's responsibility) and packlink (who don't reply to any emails and despite offering a chat/email line, no where make it possible to use these functions). So i can't raise the claim with anyone, and i have to refund the buyer. This is really disappointing and stressful. I also wasn't provided with either an evri number or a packlink number, just the tracking reference H0067A0114805091
Really stressed and disappointed about this, and definitely won't be using the service again

Don't pay insurance

I sent a package with Evri via packlink, they lost the package, I paid insurance, but when I made a claim for the lost package, I ran into a refusal, it seems that you can't send a gift to a friend, you just have to sell it, for those which you will send with packlink, don't pay insurance anymore, it's some lost money, you won't benefit from any insurance UN2022COM0000286780

lost bag twice

On 10th September, I sent a parcel to Ebay authenticators (very expensive bag!) they subsequently lost it. It has now been 'returned to sender' (aka: ME) on 10th November- but I haven't received it. I keep contacting them but haven't heard absolutely anything. I need this bag back ASAP. it is in a white and black asos packing bag.please return immediately

I know that the topic is known to…

I know that the topic is known to almost everyone who sells on ebay and sends packages via packlink, but maybe what I will write will be something new. I use packlink because it is convenient for me to import transactions quickly and a large selection of courier companies. If the package arrives, there is no problem with packlink, it's worse if it gets lost, and if it gets damaged, it's a serious matter. Packlink will do everything possible not to pay you a penny. They don't care about trust pilot reviews. Most of us know that packlink has a base and is registered in Madrid so you can't report them anywhere they are outside the law. And this is where my story begins. About 45 days ago, the package was damaged in transport and it was packed according to packlink's recommendations and even much better. I care more about the package reaching the customer than arguing with packlink for compensation. Goods sold over 70 pounds I insure for full value and again if it is lost, the sender will get the money after a long wait. Packlink buys service from evri, UPS, DPD, Yodel, each of these companies is registered in the UK, but the insurance is purchased from a company located outside the UK in Madrid, this company is called SAINT CLEMENT. Today, after 45 days of waiting, Packlink sent me an e-mail with an attachment of a letter from this insurance company which stated that the goods were badly packed, which is not true. I know packlink and before sending I take pictures of the packages because it happens that they send an extra fee because for example the package was too big then it is easy for me to prove that it is not. I can also prove how the package was packed. You can't appeal because it's the final decision and you have to accept the loss of money. You cannot report this company anywhere in the UK because they are registered in Madrid and you will not find information about them anywhere. Packlink and SAINT CLEMENT work together and deceive us it's a scam.

Scam company, we will be suing

I sent 3 packages with Packlink using Hermes, all 3 were lost and is impossible to receive a refund.

I have used Hermes separately +100 times and never had this issue.

We will be escalating the case to the respective UK authorities until we receive compensation.

Terrible service, unable to get in touch with them

I have paid for a shipping of 4 boxes from Glasgow, Scotland, to Castro Urdiales, Spain. My goods meant to arrive on the 26th of September. Nothing arrived as was planned, also I haven’t received any email or a call to be informed about my goods. After a week overdue ( 4th of October) I contacted Fedex as wel Packlink, in the beginning an agent of Fedex said that he can’t help me I need to speak with Packlink, I tried but the inly way to get in touch with them was to request a call to speak with someone, a call I haven’t received yet, then I call again to Fedex and explain that is impossible to get in touch with them and I want to know what is happening with my goods. Finally an agent named Maria, assist me and said someone will get back to be by the end of the day, and it did an email came around 5pm on Tuesday the 4th of October. On the email was stated that my goods are still in their facilities and can’t be delivered to my house because I need some documentation about a tax exemption as UK is not in the European Union anymore. Thing that nobody get in touch with me to request this documents, such as utility bills, such as empadronamiento letter that I had to book an appointment and go to collect this letter from the authorities, thing that I did for this Monday due to a short notice trying to find an available time with the city hall as well request a day off from my work. In the meantime no deadline was stated to any email. So after me getting in touch to see what is going on, I manage to get everything and send it as requested within 4 working days. When I did, I was informed through as a reply to my documents that my goods are sent back to Glasgow.

Now 9th of November over a month and a half and still nothing. Nothing returned back, possibly lost my money by using Packlink and Fedex and be aware is impossible to get in touch with them, only through emails and take ages to get a reply that so far are not even answering my questions.
