Professional service from friendly and responsive staff
I used this form to send a consignment of 78rpm records to the USA, which in view of the fragility of shellac discs needed professional packing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive. Their quote was also considerably lower than another local firm's. I brought the discs to their Oxford office, which has a parking space, mid morning and it was despatched the same evening. It arrived 3 days later undamaged. Would use again.

Flawless international shipping and excellent service
I’ve used Pack & Send Hammersmith twice now to ship parcels internationally—once to Europe and once to the US—and both experiences have been flawless.
From the moment they collected the items to the final delivery, I was kept informed every step of the way. The team provides very helpful support with paperwork, packing, and pickup, which makes the whole process incredibly smooth. Considering the level of hands-on service, I think the pricing is very fair.
Customer service is excellent—everyone is professional, friendly, and helpful. On our most recent shipment we worked with Kholbie and her team, and she was especially patient with us.
Everything arrived quickly and was packed extremely well. I would highly recommend Pack & Send Hammersmith and will definitely be using them again.

Professional Collection, but a 3-Month Delivery and Costly Delays
We used Pack & Send to transport a violin from Cornwall (UK) to Sintra, Portugal. The collection stage was handled efficiently and professionally, and we appreciated receiving a discount as two items were collected from the same area.
Unfortunately, the delivery process was extremely problematic. What should have been a straightforward shipment ultimately took around three months to complete. There appeared to be limited familiarity with the customs procedures involved, which resulted in delays and additional costs of approximately £200 on top of the already premium service fee.
To their credit, the staff remained polite and did try to assist where they could. However, given that international shipping and logistics are the core service offered, the difficulties encountered represented a significant failure in the overall process. In total, the shipment cost around £400, involved many hours of back-and-forth emails, and resulted in a substantial delay before the violin was finally delivered. Ultimately, the item was sent via DHL anyway.
When attempting to pursue a complaint regarding the customs delays, we were unable to do so effectively because DHL would not provide Pack & Send with confirmation of when the customs documentation had been submitted or whether it had been provided in the required format.
Overall, while the initial collection was handled well and communication remained courteous, the overall experience was far more complicated and time-consuming than expected for a premium shipping service.

We understand how taxing the back-and-forth communication and additional costs must have been. The situation you described regarding the lack of transparency from the carrier (DHL) is particularly concerning, as it hindered our ability to provide you with the definitive answers and resolution you deserved.
