Very bad experience with PACK & SEND

Very disappointing experience with PACK & SEND.

We booked a pickup while relocating from Perth to Adelaide. On the scheduled day, nobody came to collect our boxes and we could not reach anyone by phone. The following day, we were told the pickup had been missed due to a public holiday in Melbourne (but there was no public holiday in Perth), and a new pickup was arranged for the day of our flight.

After waiting for hours, we received an email claiming that we had missed the pickup. PACK & SEND stated that the driver had attended but could not contact us. However, we were home the entire time and no one called, rang the doorbell, or knocked on the door.

We were then told to take the boxes to their depot ourselves, despite having paid for a pickup service. With a flight to catch that evening, we had no choice but to spend an additional $68 on an Uber to transport the boxes to the depot. The situation caused significant stress and nearly resulted in us missing our flight.

In the end, we paid for a service that was never properly provided, incurred additional costs, and received no meaningful resolution. Poor communication, unreliable service, and a complete lack of accountability. I would not recommend PACK & SEND based on my experience.

As this was an Online Self Service booking, the shipment was not managed by the PACK & SEND West Perth service centre. We believe this review may have been posted to the West Perth page in error, as the team there was not involved in the booking or pickup arrangements. In reviewing the pickup history, we understand that the carrier attended the collection address on multiple occasions and reported difficulties accessing the property due to issues with the building's intercom system. We have also been advised that attendance was recorded at the location during these attempts. We appreciate that the overall experience was frustrating and acknowledge the inconvenience caused, particularly during a relocation. If you would like to discuss the matter further, please contact us directly via DM or at customerservice@packsend.com.au and we will be happy to review the booking with you in more detail.

Vintage fragile mirror safe and sound!

I used Pack & Send to get an art deco mirror packed ready for the plane back to the UK. Fragile, odd shaped, old and one of a kind I'd explored various ways and other companies who were either way over priced and/or not up to the task. The person on the front desk was so helpful and friendly, she managed to get it packed super securely in only two days in between Xmas and NY. She also video'd it being packed in all the layers - super impressive and it survived the flight back to the UK better than ever! Thankyou so much, if ever I need to get back something weird I can't live without back on the plane I will be sure to come to you first :)

Fast and efficient transport

I used Pack and Send Capalaba QLD to send a large box of my daughter’s memorabilia to Geelong VIC. Michael was extremely helpful, courteous and efficient, helping me with the packing. It arrived in three days. Strongly recommend.

Good experience overall / Marion store was short-staffed

Good experience overall, great price and shipping pace. Received manual SMSs after packages arrived. Missing one start only because Adelaide stores are poorly staffed. There was only one staff at Marion store and he was extremely hectic, apparently everything was handled by him. So can't really blame him for Marion store was still unstaffed by 9 am, although it is supposed to open at 8:30 am!

Disgrace of a company

Disappointed in service. Lied to multiple times. Couriers lied about picking up my package and only confessed once camera footage was provided. Struggled to convince the office that they picked it up even after showing camera footage. Still yet to receive item as they said they have made an attempted delivery now yet I’ve been home all day. Never using again wouldn’t trust these guys. Adding on to that they laughed at me on phone when I said I would get police involved with they’re driver as he confirmed he never picked up item, this was before camera footage was provided.

Poor service, damaged item, no insurance claim

Very expensive cost including insurance, painting arrives damaged, they request quote to repair, I go out and get quote, they ghost me for 6 weeks not responding to 4 e-mails and then write me saying "it would be difficult to submit a claim." Beware here, poor packaging and charge for insurance but may not actually get insurance as if you need it, it is not available,

Great service, but the tracking system needs an update

Everything went well with the delivery itself. My only complaint is that the tracker predicted a Friday arrival, but the package only came on Monday. Once I called, the staff was helpful and confirmed the delivery. If the tracking system were more reliable, it would be a perfect 5-star service.

I searched for weeks couriers to pick…

I searched for weeks couriers to pick up my 3 letters from the Philippines to be delivered to me in Brisbane a door to door service, pack and send had the best value in pricing. I am very impressed with how on time they were and I have received my packages exactly when they said I would, very happy with the service, highly recommend. Lost Package. No Updates

Package was dropped on 27th April to be sent within Melbourne. Today is 12th May, the other person has not received the package. I have no updates by the company whatsoever. Either they are bunch of inefficent lot, or something more worse. Have raised complaint with them, soon to follow this up with ACCC

I paid for signature on delivery

I paid for signature on delivery, no attempt at contacting me was made. I live on a battleaxe block with a 200m driveway to front door.

The package was left propped up against the front gate, luckily the neighbour called me and it wasnt raining

Rude and uncourteous

I completed a three page form to receive an online quote, only to be told via email that I needed to call instead. When I requested a basic estimate and it didn’t need to be exact, I was told no quote would be provided unless I called. The response felt dismissive, with repeated emphasis that it was “my choice”. Overall, the customer service was unhelpful and came across as rude. Very disappointing experience.
