I purchased a Pagoda Steel garden…

I purchased a Pagoda Steel garden furniture set type PAGCAGS on 25/4/22. It was not cheap and I assumed wrongly that it would last in good condition. We left the table on the patio outside covered over in winter and after the first year rust spots appeared on the leg welds. We painted over these areas but in the subsequent years many rust spots have appeared. We are now into the 4th year and the table has great chunks of rust. Looking at the paint work it appears as though there has never been a primer or under coat and the one coat on the steel is very poor. I would never have bought this item if I had read the previous reviews it is extremely poor quality and not built to last in an outside enviroment. The warrenty is not worth the paper it is printed on and I would be ashamed to sell such a shoddy product.

Worst outdoor furniture ever purchased…

Garden table and chairs not a year old covered in rust. Have contacted Pagoda but no reply Surprise, Surprise.
Avoid this company like the plague do not buy any thing from them as products are rubbish as well as service. This garden set was bought from Solburn Garden Centre near Stranraer and it was not cheap, so be well advised do not waste your money on this garbage. I have also sent a message to Pagoda Furniture via their own online website messaging service and they don't even have the decency to reply with any sort of feeble excuse or with a reason for the fault.

Reply from Pagoda Garden Furniture

Dear Thomas, Thank you for contacting Pagoda Garden Furniture. We are sorry to hear about this issue you have experienced with your set. We are unsure as to why your sets is covered in rust, especially when it is under a year old. Your best option would be to contact the retailer regarding this issue as there may have been underlying damage caused to this set during freight/transit. Failing this, we would be more than happy to provide you with a touch-up aerosol which acts as a primer as well which you can spray over the rust. We would just need to know the model of the set and the product code please. As always, we are more than happy to help everyone who has purchased our furniture. We hope to hear from you very soon.

Kind regards,
Pagoda Garden Furniture
