Quality product and great service
We ordered another cupboard to match two originally bought a few years ago. For all the cupboards we wanted to match them to our kitchen. Although we had to pay a bit extra for this service, it’s well worth it and the paint covering is perfect and hard wearing.
We also wanted different handles to match as well - the company helped with the process and it was easily done.
The company kept us informed all the way throughout the process which is very re-assuring.
So you really do get what you pay for from this great company- I can’t recommend them enough!

Excellent quality furniture
Excellent quality furniture and a great choice of colours. Everything is made to order and it’s certainly worth the wait. The furniture is well-made and very sturdy. Our bedroom is completely furnished with the Oxford style furniture in a lovely colour called ‘cloud’. The furniture was carefully delivered and assembled for us, and we are very happy with it.

Fantastic - and made in the UK!
Extremely efficient - timely, professional and everything worked entirely to plan. Also the actual items (extending dining/kitchen table and chairs) have been a great success and much admired. The table was additionally made in the UK which was an important factor for me. This was my second Painted Furniture purchase and both have been brilliant. Highly recommended.

Great service and so flexible.
I have recently bought two painted wardrobes and a chest of drawers from the Painted Furniture Company and found their customer service excellent. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to help.
One of the wardrobes had a small graze in the paint work. I phoned them and they sent out a gentleman who was able to repair the flaw such that there was no indication of the original problem. They informed me before hand that if I was not completely happy with the repair they would arrange for a new wardrobe to be sent to me. I am happy to say a replacement was not necessary.
Delivery times were fitted around my schedule and I was informed of delivery date and time in advance. Delivery of both items was within the delivery window.
I was very impressed with the service and I absolutely love the furniture and the wonderful colours that are available.

Great value & workmanship ….
We bought a king size bed in the sale,complete with mattress. It was very good value,beautifully made and delivered on time. The delivery guys were lovely and they assembled the bed for us. We were so happy with it we bought a couple of chest of drawers plus 2 bedside cabinets. They were all of a high standard and beautifully painted. The icing on the cake - all the furniture is made in England.

We're impressed by their spacious Show Room
We were initially attracted by their large and well appointed Showroom at Hampton Wick, where their Salesman Callum proved to be most helpful and well informed.
We chose a customisable chest of drawers that fitted our available space very well, and were impressed with the smoothness of the drawers on their soft close runners. The Unit was supplied beautifully painted, and supplied with a very close colour match to other pre-existing items of bedroom furniture.
We are DELIGHTED that we selected this 'PFC' item.

Disappointing Quality and Delayed Resolution
I am very disappointed with my experience with The Painted Furniture Company. While I initially raised concerns about the chest of drawers, upon closer inspection of the larger piece, I discovered visible cracks and a poor finish – and this was before the item had even been used.
The collection process was lengthy, forcing me to wait a considerable amount of time for the item to be returned and my refund to be processed. This delay left me unable to shop elsewhere during that time, adding unnecessary inconvenience.
I had chosen your company under the impression that I was investing in high-quality furniture, particularly given the premium price I paid. However, the quality of the product has fallen far below my expectations and what I believed your company stood for.
I have given 1 star because the staff were professional and did try their best to resolve the issue. However, the poor product quality and delays in the process have left me deeply disappointed. Ultimately, I am the one losing out in this situation.

Very good quality product
Very good quality product, looks lovely in our dining area, our friends also commented positively on it.
One feedback - the cabinet has a strong glue smell for several weeks after installation. It’s almost gone now but first few days it was unbearably strong. Perhaps consider alternatives?

A Great Company with Helpful Customer Relations
I cannot speak highly enough of the great service I received from The Painted Furniture Company. I was to move into an Assisted Living apartment in early November 2024 and ordered furniture, accordingly, to be delivered a few days prior to my moving in. However the move in date was delayed until December 2024. This super company accommodated this with no problem to me at all, but must have given them storage problems! The two lovely wardrobes and a bed head were delivered and in my new home exactly as requested. So thank you all at the P.F.C.involved. Callum at Hampton Wick was especially helpful at every stage.

Quality bed
I went to a shower room in Kingston and bought a bed. It took a long time to arrive but the quality of the bed is great. Construction of the bed is very simple and came with retouch paint which is reassuring in case anything happens in the future.

We took a long drive to visit the showroom and we were assisted in store by a helpful sales person who we had previously had email communication with. We chose would work for us and went away placing an order for two units in October and being told it wouldn’t be delivered until the new year which seemed quite far off but we accepted it. They were able to deliver before Christmas which we were happy about but upon delivery unfortunately we spotted that the 2 door wardrobe and the 1 door cupboard both have faults on them, and the hat wasn’t delivered fir the 2 door, they returned the next day with the hat. The issues are that some of the paint hasn’t been sprayed on properly inside left door of the two door unit and visible blobs of paint by the door handles, a scratch on the outside door and the doors aren’t level to each other on the 2 door wardrobe. Neither of the two delivery teams could fix it with one of the delivery men complaining that the office don’t know they aren’t trained to make the adjustments having been told over the phone that they are! They tried but couldn’t level it. They took photos of the issues and we were told a service engineer can visit our premises to fix the issues. We are now trying to organise this and being told by an uncaring, unhelpful Deborah in the Cirencester office that the service engineer can’t visit here until the New Year which I had previously advised I would find unacceptable given the predicament we have been put in with all these issues! This is unacceptable given that we spent a lot of money on these two units! When something like this happens the responsibility lies with painted furniture company to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and not be unhelpful, by delaying us, the warehouse not contacting us yesterday as we were advised they would, not understanding that we cannot use the units by filling them up then emptying them out when the service engineer is good and ready to attend! Not understanding that the issues are enough to warrant an immediate fix. Unfortunately I had to chase then up again today and spoke again with Deborah who outrightly refused to give me the warehouse telephone number, and I couldn’t speak to the manager as she is off sick and when pushed to resolve this issue for us without causing further delays and inconvenience and expecting us to bend over backwards to accept their conditions which rightfully so we don’t Deborah abruptly ended the call!! As if we have not been inconvenienced and disrespected enough! The sign of a good company is they bend over backwards to assist you without further delays and inconvenience in recognition of the fact that they have messed up and not put the onus on the buyer to bend to their will. Absolutely shocking customer service! To say I’m angry is putting it mildly!!

Firstly, we are sorry that one of the wardrobe hats was missing upon delivery. We’re pleased that our team was able to promptly resolve this by delivering the missing item the very next day to minimise any inconvenience caused.
We also apologise for the door alignment issue. Our units are fitted on a flat and calibrated floor in our factory, and while the doors are typically even upon delivery, they can occasionally become misaligned once in place. This can be due to the natural unevenness of most floors, causing the doors to not sit perfectly level. While this can generally be easily fixed using wardrobe wedges, we understand that you opted not to use them, which has made alignment more challenging. We’ve arranged for a specialist technician to visit and level the doors as soon as possible.
We also regret the small paint imperfections on the wardrobes. These should not have left the factory in this condition, and we fully understand the inconvenience this has caused. As mentioned, we do have a specialist technician who can visit your home to resolve these issues and ensure a perfect finish. However, due to the time of year and the upcoming holidays, the earliest availability will be in the New Year. We understand this is less than ideal but assure you we are prioritising your case and offering the earliest possible appointment.
We are genuinely sorry that you are dissatisfied with the service so far. Please know that we have been working hard to resolve the issues and ensure that your furniture is in perfect condition. We are committed to working with you to fully resolve the matter, but we must also acknowledge that the tone of some recent communications has made it more difficult to move forward. We regret that this led to one of our staff members needing to end the call to maintain a respectful conversation. Deborah, who you spoke with, has consistently received 5-star feedback for her helpfulness and professionalism in other interactions, and it is truly disappointing that the situation led to such a breakdown in communication.
We also recognise from your previous review history that you’ve had numerous negative experiences with other businesses, and we want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to resolve the issues fully for you.
We understand how important it is for you to have everything resolved promptly, and we can assure you that we have taken all steps to arrange the technician visit as early as possible in the New Year.
