Really great driver, treated my property with care, making the delivery an extremely pleasant experience

Karl (from depot 343) delivered me some tile last week. He was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I hadn’t ordered enough so I have just (15/5) recieved a second delivery, again by Karl. Excellent service

No delivery…

I was notified my wood panel order would arrive on the 29th… I wasted a day waiting in and nothing turned up. I was texted today at 3pm to let me know my order would arrive between 2 and 4pm - no delivery again. This company are a joke and shouldn’t be used

Considering the bad reviews I was concerned the delivery would be an issue however it couldn't have been much better. It was contracted out to a partner company and the delivery driver was friendly and helpful. Asked where I wanted the 2 pallets positioning and placed them there exactly. The only reason why I didn't give 5 starts was that the tracking wasn't much use and they told me on the phone it wouldn't be before 9am but then got an email saying it could be earlier.

I just wanted to share my positive experience which I received from Pall-Ex, Coalville today. Their service itself was excellent, keeping me updated on my delivery with their online tracking service. I received an email beforehand, and they way surpassed my expectations. The company gave me a two-hour window for delivery and stuck to it, saving me time and having to hang around all day. The driver Rob, was a really nice, helpful, and friendly chap and a great ambassador for Pall-Ex.
Overall, they come across as a great company to deal with of whom I would highly recommend.

We had an 8 seater garden set and glass fire pit table being delivered. One man tried to manoeuvre this onto our driveway on his own, and the pallet fell over twice smashing the glass table, one of the chairs was bent. Cushions were stained from falling to the ground and being squashed. Arrived a day late too. Absolutely rubbish service, how they think by wrapping it in plastic will be sturdy enough and the stacking was rubbish. Thankfully ring doorbell caught it all, so will be taking it up further

Air con install booked for Tuesday 9th April 2024.
Air con unit was to be delivered on Friday, April 5th.

Now Monday, still no explanation or contact from them.
Pallet was only signed into depot this morning, but no explanation as to where the depot is or why.
Delivery date still says 5th April.

Unless they have invented time travel and not told anyone, I don't see how this is supposed to be possible!
Are these people run by Hermes by any chance?

Very disappointing. Was told they would come on the chosen delivery date.... booked it off work and waited in all day for nothing to arrive. Spoke to head office 3 different occasions and they all assured me the delivery would be there. Complete time wasters would never recommend. Disorganised and unprofessional. Eventually arrived 4 days late with no apology or any accountability.

Not received my order from the supplier cannot contact anyone to find out where they have delivered my order. They don’t seam to be bothered just drop it off and move onto the next one. I would give No Star if i could.

My delivery was on a pallet and therefore could not fit through my front gate (standard size). The delivery driver left it on the street, not within my property and when I asked what I was meant to do he said he had done his job and instead of being helpful he simply said he could take it back. Worst delivery driver I've ever had.

I was informed about each stage of the delivery. The driver called me 10 minutes before coming and was on time.

Terrible, rude and unhelpful driver, Refused to unpack as contracted and refused to remove dirty old pallet dumped on my drive so I had to manually put it back on his van myself.

Would rate zero if possible!

Wish I had read these reviews before ordering flooring through luxuryfurnishings who use these guys for delivery. It’s a shambles, they deliver to the wrong address, now they say they’ve delivered but it’s a blatant lie and they faked a signature, I could go on…I still don’t have my delivery. They’re clowns. AVOID.

I have not used this company but one of its drivers ran me off the road. 26/01/2024 near Monmouth, 50mph zone inside lane closing in less than 200 yards I’m doing 50mph (max speed limit!!) in the outside lane and the driver decides he’s going to undertake me. He doesn’t get his cab past me but pulls out into my lane forcing me to pull into the central reservation and having to slam my brakes on to avoid a collision. How he missed me I really don’t know. My mother is still having nightmares GJ15PGF very dangerous driving

The worst.
First time used them to refund glass shower door told the driver be careful as its glass and might break. Saw him dropping it on the pallet…
Second time delivered flooring and left the pallet with me saying not gonna wait because hes busy and has no time…
Very irresponsible staff works here.
If I could avoid to use them I will.

Received a delivery from Pall-Ex on behalf of Bathroom Mountain, whom I had ordered from weeks before. Whilst the delivery arrived on time, the receival of the delivery was very disappointing. I have had many deliveries from other firms who have brought items to my door or even helped me take inside. The driver just dropped the pallet with the item (of high value and weight) on the pavement. He walked off and could have dropped the item off much closer to my door given he had a pallet jack. I was shocked. I had paid £29.99 for delivery which is a lot to have the item delivered. The tracking app is also poor. It said the driver was outside my house at 6am and it never changed! So disappointed in the customer service. I very rarely negatively review companies but Pall-Ex really need to improve their customer experience. Unhappy customer here.

First refused to come up lane. Once up the lane he dumped the pallets all over drive so access to and from house is extremely difficult. Joke of a company.

Had a heavy item delivered, and the delivery driver refused to put it on my driveway as there is a small lip onto it. So he left it in the middle of pathway outside my house for me to move. The delivery driver said it was too hard for him to get his machine over the lip so now left there all day until my partner comes home from work and we will have to drag it to our house. Not acceptable delivery.

Awful ! Timeline of events: Bought an expensive large item on line on the 16th Nov 23. Collected by Pallex from the on-line company on the 17th. 20th I get a call from a lady asking when would I like it delivered so we agreed on Weds 22nd. That day I rang them as it was 3pm and had heard nothing and they said nope it was not booked in but I was 'promised' delivery Thursday. So I rang midday today to check if it was out for delivery.... Oh yes but its on the afternoon delivery run. 3.30pm came and I checked the tracking which now showed Friday delivery !! What ! two days wasted !! I then rang them... oh I have nothing to show anywhere it was due out today, its due out tomorrow but we will get it on the AM delivery for you Friday.... so 3 days wasted off work ! Grrr! TOP TIP: Always ask for a name when dealing with Pallex as that was my stupid mistake in not doing that.
