Avoid Pancakeapp.com online invoicing software

I have used pancakeapp self-hosted online invoicing software for 9 years and in the beginning everything was fine.
During the course there have been frequent lapses in active development and support and this year there again seems to have occurred such a lapse as support no longer replies to open tickets (as far back as May at least.
My advice is to avoid this app like the plague and never fork out any money to the invisible people behind the app!
