My previous 5* review is now 1* - would never use again

My previous 5* review is now 1*.
As long as you don't have any issues you might be OK.
I used them several times but when the courier in USA damaged my parcel they would not compensate me even though I paid for insurance. I lost £170 as I had to refund the client. The annoying thing was that courier had agreed to pay but Parcels Please would not let me claim. They send you round in circles for months for months and never answer emails with a sensible response. They just send standard letters which show they don't really read anything. Dreadful experience.
They also sent me a letter asking for more money on another parcel that they said wasn't measured correctly but in fact I knew that I had paid too much as when the parcel was taped up it was several cms shorter so I was annoyed that I had over paid. I had photos too of the measurements. When I responded with the facts I didn't hear from them again so I imagine they just try it on hoping that some people will just pay. I will never use them again. Not even for free.

Terrible service

Terrible service - initiated a 24hr delivery, collection didnt happen and it took me to contact them as to why, only to be told collection wasnt possible as nobody was in attendance yet someone was there all day, was told itd be collected following day and again nobody arrived, contacted prcelsplease again and they failed to even respond. AVOID this company at all costs if your parcel is important.

Competitive pricing, easy to use

Used them for the first time the other day to send an heavy-ish parcel via UPS. They are not a courier themselves, just an agent. Very good prices, easy to book service, packaged delivered with no problem.

Amazing service parcels please

Amazing service parcels please; I booked a parcel to be collected from France on Tuesday 1st October and delivered to the UK. My parcel has been delivered this morning, Thursday 3rd October! I have always used parcels please, but a few weeks ago I used parcel monkey, purely to use their drop off service; big mistake, 1st parcel delivered 1wk late, 2nd parcel was lost in transit!

Once again a brilliant service

Once again a brilliant service. Package picked up from my house in central rural France at 10am on Monday. Delivered to address in Sheffield at 10.30 am Wednesday. Tracked delivery all the way.
Cannot recommend this company highly enough, always my first point of contact for a good courier service. Many thanks.

Unbelievable Service

The van driver collected 5 large boxes full of Christmas presents for my granddaughters. He left my house in the country in Warwickshire at 16.15 yesterday, & they arrived at my daughters house - in rural south west France at 15.25 today!!! I am very grateful, but completely amazed. We couldn't have flown over & delivered them ourselves any quicker. BRILLIANT & MERRY CHRISTMAS

Flawless Transport!

I am starting to doubt many negative reviews and people who write them. I booked my delivey late at night. The 29 kg parcel was picked up inside my house next day and delivered very quickly (two working days later) in Sweden. This company offered the lowest price including £60 free insurance.

Avoid at all costs

Tried sending a package with them - 2 of them were received broken and over a week later than they said they would deliver. 3rd package also had items broken so they called me for authorization to destroy it.

Please avoid at all costs. Their delivery quotes may be cheap - but they really mishandle your packages and will destroy them. Also, their insurance does not cover most items you would normally send by courier.
