Excellent caravan.Enjoyed our latest stay at Golden Sands but this one was spoiled by residents of Dawlish Warren taking a short cut through the parkbehind our cararavan bedroom from 5.30am each day... See more

Disappointing.
A couple of years ago we had a great time with Park Holidays at Harts on the Isle of Sheppey so we thought this year we’d give Dymchurch a try, we were disappointed. It seems as if New Beach is predominantly privately owned, residential caravans which meant the vibe was completely different, it was so quiet but not in a peaceful way, it seemed deserted, it didn’t feel like a holiday park.
We were 4 adults and 5 kids so booked 2 caravans a premium and a gold and if I’m honest, the gold was the better option but both could’ve been cleaner. The outsides of both were covered in cobwebs, bird pooh and green algae.
The swimming pool needs attention, it was grotty. The shop was under stocked and expensive. We managed to make the best of it and enjoy ourselves but there’s things the management could implement to improve things.

We like to go with several family members for a weekend out of season.
Beautiful spot, lots of space for the children to run around in the fresh air and excellent value for money.
Would highly recommend this especially for grandparents to be able to spend quality time with their grandchildren.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Lovely stay as slways

We have had family reunions at the site for a few years now. Never had any issues, caravans are always clean and high quality. Price is good as well. Hope to be back next year.

We stayed at Par Sands in a Platinum 2 bedroom dog friendly caravan .
The site is immaculately clean and well kept . The dog friendly beach opposite is great ( there’s an industrial building at one end which mars the view somewhat ) It didn’t bother us at the beach is huge . The coastal path is easily accessible from the site, lovely walk to Polkerrris .
There’s a local pub close to the site (5 minute walk ) which has good food, regular entertainment and lovely welcoming staff.
We did feel the caravan didn’t warrant Platinum status. We’ve stayed in numerous caravans so have plenty to compare to . It was clean but lacked items we would usually consider as standard . There was a washing machine (great) but no drying rack / line / iron . No vacuum or means to clean up ,definitely needed in a dog friendly . We were there for 2 weeks and had to request a bed linen change after 1 , it wasn’t done automatically. These are minor niggles but feel are required to give the caravan its platinum status .
We did ask the reception for a hoover but it never appeared, they didn’t seem interested .
The area itself is an ideal basis for exploring the area .
Nice clean park conveniently situated…
Nice clean park conveniently situated for Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and the Broads. Only downside is that there is no direct access to the beach. Caravan was nice & clean modern and spacious.
A lovely site with a warm and helpful welcome
Great reception even prior to arrival, they listened and acted on our requests. On arrival they were so organised and welcoming (as well as busy). A lovely new caravan in a great position for us. The site has some marvellous and well maintained grounds for pleasant evening walks around the lakes and other areas plus a friendly bar and restaurant. We didn't get to use the swimming pool but understand it is well worth a visit. There is easy access to Hastings and local places of interest by car. We were able to enjoy some lovely days out with relaxing evenings on site - wonderful and have already recommended to friends who also like to fish..

Booked a four night stay at Bodmin in a villa. I was impressed with the layout and equipment provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fishing and swimming fees were included in the package price.

Caravan was very clean .But a Bit disappointed that the Gold caravan wasn't up to my expectations..I have stayed in the bronze and silver caravans in the past ..and are much bigger .the only thing bigger was bedroom and Shower room ..which was Good ..and the TV didn't work properly..apart from that enjoyed our Holiday meals were very good in restaurant Good prices .
Hedley Wood Park Review
We stayed at Hedley Wood in Cornwall approximately 5 miles outside Bude. A lot of the caravans and pitches seemed to be newish. The area to park the car was tarmac which was good. The caravan was clean and we looked towards the woods. The park was well maintained and clean. It was a quiet site. The pool and jacuzzi is the best one I have seen at a caravan site. It was clean, well maintained , looked quite new and you can actually have a swim in the pool. There is no life guard so the receptionist has to look via live link to the pool area. I think it would have been better to have someone in the pool area especially since some people didn’t get out of the jacuzzi to let others in and some parents allowed their children in when it clearly stated they were not allowed in under 16. The staff I met were helpful and friendly. We had a lovely long weekend at the park. It was easy to drive into Bude.
Had a great time
Had a great time. Great facilities very clean and friendly staff. Activities were okay probably wouldn’t do them again because they were a bit basic for the price but staff were good and engaging. Shame we had to book a slot for the swimming and couldn’t just drop in especially as we went in term time I thought this would be okay. Food was absolutely terrible. Overpriced and felt like frozen food just microwaved. Food was probably the biggest let down. Overall a brilliant break. We would come again.
park and caravan good
park and caravan good, but tv didn't work properly, and was unable to access the internet. I understand the internet is outsourced, therefore park staff were unable to help.

There was some confusion on making a booking eventually it was sorted out satisfactory and l can recommend their customer service dept for their actions
Poor quality Mobile home, poorly prepared
When we arrived at our Carlton Meres accommodation, there were cigarette ends and tissues left around the access steps to the accommodation. Once inside, it was obvious that the caravan had not been cleaned properly. In all fairness to the staff, they did come and clean it when we complained. During our stay, we came to the conclusion that the mobile home was very tired.
Great family holiday!
Pros:
- great entertainment team. In particular want to mention Mason… he made it fun for the adults as well as being great with the kids! He really helped make the holiday for us!
- great facilities. So much for the kids to do, they were never bored!
- caravan was so spacious, biggest bedroom I’ve ever stayed in for a caravan!
- great location if you like going to the beach as walkable from the park (so much easier than driving and getting sand everywhere in the car!)
Cons:
- WiFi didn’t want in caravan and there was 0 phone signal, meaning for the majority of the week I was without a phone and completely off grid!
- parking was not good at caravan. Cannot park on grass next to caravan, but there are rows of 4 deep caravans so if you’re in the middle your car is on the road, not next to your caravan which is not ideal when you need to unpack/pack or have a baby (as we did)
- very expensive drinks.. we knew this would be the case as it always is onsite a holiday park, but £5.95 for a pint of lemonade is extortionate!
- shower plug hole must have blocked as within 2 minutes of the shower running, it was all flooded in the bottom and ankle deep!
- soft play could do with updating and adding a toddler/baby bit with a ball pit maybe
Overall we had a really brilliant holiday and would definitely return to this chain!

The whole place was infested with ants 🐜
Tried to get help from reception who advised the whole camp is like it because there is no rain. Ruined the whole stay could not even make food had to leave the camp to eat each night took lots of pictures and videos and emailed a complaint which never got a response. Location was nice shame about having to share the place with Ants.
