Poor Customer Service

I paid a great deal of money for Parrot Zik headphones and lost the battery cover... I contacted them several times to order a replacement and, weeks later, received a reply saying "they can't help me"... Horrible customer service given the cost of their products.

Parrot - Dont waste your money!

I bought a parrot bebop 2 drone last Christmas. After a good few months of reviewing different drones on the market I thought the bebop drone is the one for me. In may this year I had a bit of a crash , wasn't to bad to be honest, but it wouldent take off so I contacted them wanting them to fix it . 3 WEEKS it took them to get back to me , this is disgraceful , but this isn't the worst part. I paid £150 to send it out to France to be fixed. A month and a half later it came back, same bloody problem absolutely fuming, they had changed a battery and claimed it was all okay. So I sent it back again. A month later, by now in August it came back, yet again they hadn't done anything again.
I decided to leave it for a bit and then in Sept emailed them wanting them to send me a replacement after they had messed me about for months . A few weeks later they sent me a free replacement!
After getting it out and trying it , it turned out to be a second hand drone, clear evidence of marks on it , and it had the same problem as my other one. Yet to find somewhere in Britain to fix it . I am disgusted in how poor Parrot have been to me! I would never touch a Parrot drone again, they are great tools don't get me wrong but all you need is one crash and it's hundreds of pounds down the drain.
Don't waste your money people.
Now looking into a DJI.

Parrot Customer Service is Non-Existent!

Honestly, the worst company I have ever dealt with PERIOD!

You would think, after purchasing a product of this type the first thing a company would focus on is customer satisfaction. I have now sent 6 emails with all the information and more they originally asked for with absolutely no reply.

The drones are excellent BUT be wary there is no support when you need it!!!

Parrot is awful

Parrot is awful. Read the reviews and you will see. Do not buy from them as when you need parts or service, and you will, you will not receive them and be frustrated.
I bought the Anafi Thermal new from amazon. It would get card write errors will trying to record pictures or video. I got another, larger card, that was on their recommended list. Still got errors. Not to mention that it cannot record the file dates in your local time - very strange for an international company to have this problem.
I returned it and got another. The second one has a problem with an error, "We encountered a problem with your drone. Please contact Parrot customer service."
Clicked on contact button, the only thing you can do in the app at that point, and it takes you to a web page that says sorry you can't be helped except by your retailer.
Well Amazon knows nothing of it. They should probably stop selling it.
I've been in contact with a number on the website and they set me up with a support number a case number. I send them the info they request over and over. I get a reply that I will hear back in a 24-48 hour time period. That has never happened yet in the past 2 months. I always have to call them to find out why. They explain it is being escalated and you should hear back in 48 hours. This has gone on for weeks with no resolution.

Anybody home?

Awful company.

Purchased mini kit neo 2 where an android app to operate is displayed on the box. App does not exist in the play store.

Contacted parrot, automated reply stating to wait 24 to 48 hours for a reply.

2 week later I get my reply. It has been "escalated to the escalation team". This was two weeks ago, again no reply!

Absolutely the most hideous customer…

Absolutely the most hideous customer service from any consumer electronics company period. READ THIS FIRST if you are considering buying any product from them - you will regret it if you require ANY service or support.

We are a research department in the largest University campus system in the US - over 400,000 students. We purchase thousands of dollars of drone training equipment each year, and made a large purchase from Parrot in 2018.

Expectedly some of the equipment failed and needed warranty parts.
We submitted requests through the HOTLINE Parrot address, only to be asked again and again for more information. Send purchase receipt. Send engine serial numbers. Send drone serial numbers. Send drone firmware version. Send screenshot of firmware version. Send video of each of the drones. On and on and on... Ultimately we never got any parts shipped to us.

We tried again months later only to get the same rodeo, submit everything online, as they have no record of us as a customer. Each round of emails takes 2-4 days to get a response, and eventually we got a 1 sentence email stating. "Your products are out of warranty.'

Mind you they have a record of our issues and repeated efforts to get product support. Mind you we spend thousands of dollars each year on products, and will continue to do so with a company that has legitimate customer support. Parrot doesn't care. Shipping a few parts that amount to $20 or $30 would continue our patronage and annual spend that amount to tens of thousands of dollars.

Repeated requests to explain their reasoning for an expired warranty when we lodged this issue 60 days after our purchase went totally ignored.

Their incompetence is mind boggling. No wonder they have less than 10% of the consumer drone market and are negative cash flow. The French aren't known for their customer service savvy, but this sets the bar to a new low for not giving a crap about the people that spend money on your products. Goodbye Parrot.

I will never ever again I'll buy something from Parrot

I bought one Drone "Parrot Anafi", considered one of the best in the market and everything goes well when is working, but begins the problem when the drone fail and you have to deal with the company and you find that it is a shame in terms of customer service, there is no help, ie the post sale does not exist, you are not advised on anything and if you look for where to repair the drone you find zero coverage nobody repairs it. When you buy a drone that is worth almost 600 pounds you expect at least some kind of technical support from the company but this is not the case with the Parrot company they don't really care and leave you to your fate. I will never ever again in my life I'll buy something more from them.

Customer Services about as much good as a Chocolate Teapot!

Emailed them to see if I could purchase a new cover for the memory card as the original one had fallen off at some point! no idea where or how!
Its a very small flimsy part and from what I have learn't since, is a part that is very prone to damage/falling off. Despite an email from them saying 'our customer satisfaction is very important to us' ( or words to that effect) they replied with 'sorry we don't stock this part, can't help you on this occassion'. Feel very let down by this company and very annoyed to be left with a £600 drone which is no good to me. Needles to say, the drone's camera won't work without this cover and as a photographer, its quite an issue. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy from this company in view of this, and although I have never used a DJI air mavic, I have seen enough reveiws on it to recommend spending a few extra quid (£80-90) to get a much better Drone (more robust, better features, higher spec. and above all - a proper CUSTOMER SERVICE)

Have an issue with my Parrot Anafi drone which is virtually new. I
flew it into a tree. My fault entirely. Contacted technical support thinking it would a relatively easy problem to solve. I needed to purchase spare parts, where can I get them? I was told to either check Amazon or call Drone Nerds. Amazon did not list spare parts, a call to Drone Nerds indicated that they did not stock Parrot parts.
Back to Parrot...I drive a BMW, I can buy BMW parts at any dealership. To me, it made sense that if Parrot was bringing a product, especially a product that FLIES and could conceivably crash into a tree, that they would also import spare parts. I was wrong. The "technicians" at customer "service" provided me with a youtube video showing how to replace the legs (hint...you need to FULLY disassemble the Anafi) and told me that there are NO replacement parts available but that they were bringing some in about a month. This was TWO months ago. So for the past 120 days, my Anafi has been a paperweight. I would attach a summary of the emails I’ve exchanged with Paul (one of their tech support guys) but I have already wasted too much time on this. I will return the Anafi for credit and buy my next drone from a REAL company that has a real customer service department and can support the products that they import into this country.

Once a long time ago, Parrot was a world-class company. In fact, they started the whole consumer drone category. I don't know what happened to Parrot, but it's a shame!

Brand new Parrot Bebop2 out of the box flies great but internal storage is corrupt and will not store any footage or pictures. What's the point in having a drone with no video or picture?
Also link wire (usb) and rotor blade key were missing. Save yourself the hassle and buy elsewhere. Also no customer support website is full or errors, no phone, no email, no postal address, no way to get a refund!. Feel completely ripped off.

Can I rate them -5?

Have an issue with my Parrot Anafi drone which is virtually new. It flies perfectly fine but it doesn’t detect the memory card that was supplied with the drone. It worked a couple of times and all of a sudden it started displaying an SD error message. Fine, these things happen! Tested the card with other devices and it was fine but the drone wouldn’t let me record any footage. Contacted technical support thinking it would a relatively easy problem to solve. This is a summary of the emails I’ve exchanged with Paul (one of their tech support guys). Please note that it usually takes 2-3 days for them to respond to each email. I swear the below is not a joke. This is how frustrating it is to deal with them.

Paul: thank you for your request, please provide serial number and a few basic details
Me: Done
Paul: Please provide proof of purchase
Me: Done:
Paul: Please provide proof of purchase in pdf format
Me: Done
Paul: Please try to reset the drone (of course I had already tried that and I had mentioned it in my initial request)
Me: Already done, didn’t work
Paul: Which memory card are you using?
Me: The one you supplied (I had already mentioned this in my initial support request).
Paul: Send a photo of the error message
Me: Done
Paul: Which memory card are you using? Has the drone been crashed?
Me: Again, both questions had already been answered in my initial support request but here are the answers (just to avoid any further delays)
Paul: Please reset the drone
Me: Seriously? I have already tried this several times, that didn’t fix the issue.
Paul: Send us a video showing the error
Me: why? I have already sent photos of the error why do you need a video showing exactly the same error?
Paul: Send us a video showing the error
Me: I’m trying but your server keeps rejecting my email because of the size of the attachment. I have attached a few screenshots from the video is that sufficient?
Paul: Send us a video showing the error
Me: Eventually managed to re-format the file so I am waiting for their response.

It’s been nearly a month and all they’ve done is requesting details and asked me to reset the drone a couple of times. Seriously? after nearly a month you haven’t been able to suggest anything else? This SD card problem is a well-known issue and I know they are just doing this to deflect customers which is pathetic.

Paul is either an automated bot or the most incompetent person on planet earth. I’m expecting an email from him asking for my DNA profiling next time. Parrot, I really wanted to like the Anafi but after this I will sell it and go back to DJI. Disgusting customer service/company. Will keep you updated.
UPDATE: Parrot eventually accepted my claim and they have asked me to contact the retailer for the warranty replacement. Finally!

I'm not sure why you can't give zero…

I'm not sure why you can't give zero stars because this is the one company that deserves it. I've learned my lesson never to do business with a company that does not have a phone number associated on their website. Checking better business bureau they have no comments because Teeparrot would not respond to their request for business information. I ordered two coffee grinders from this corrupt company and they were delivered to a wrong address. what was delivered to that wrong address was listed as Wayne 2 lb and after ordering these two copy grinders from another company they weighed in at 15 lb. I have no idea what they delivered but I'm pretty sure it wasn't 2 coffee grinders. In attempting to resolve the situation they would not respond to my emails. I finally disputed the charge with my credit card company and have kept all the documentation to prove my case should it become necessary. anyone who does business with this company after reading my review should have their head examined.

I truly regret purchasing a product from Parrot

I truly regret that I bought the headset Parrot Zik 2.0.

About six months ago one of the ear pads was broken. I checked Parrots web site and saw that the ear pads would be available soon.

After having checked the web site during a couple of months I contacted customer service about when they thought it would be available.

First customer service told me that they did not know when it would be available. After having asked them once more, they told me that they would not be available any longer. The did not offer any help at all.

I contacted them again and complained and asked for a reimbursement. Then they asked me to "check the availability of the product with our resellers such as: La Fnac, Boulanger, Amazon or Darty." I googled a bit but did not find anything on their web sites. However, I did find out on my own that HeadPhoneMate sells the ear pads on eBay. I have now ordered them and am waiting for them to be delivered.

Parrot - Worst customer service on the planet!

My experience with the Parrot customer service was unreal - they would completely ignore what you write and respond with something off-topic and then repeat or ask questions that you answered in your initial email, and then repeat again. All taking 3 days at a time to reply. I wasted 3 weeks trying to get ANY form of logic from them and the problem was NOT resolved. It was either like talking to a child or to some experimental AI program that didn't know what its role was. Absolutely HIDEOUS customer service. Which is a shame because they make very good drones!
