Won't order from them again
We order multiple parts. 1 box showed up empty. Their customer service sent us in circles with "extend" and the shipping company. With no resolution. And no refund. 2nd order The return process is Terrible they want you to pay for all the shipping back to them. After that we will get the refund. So it'll be a few weeks process.

They don't stand behind the parts they sell. They make returning the part extremely difficult (ask for several different and mandatory photos, want the VIN off your vehicle, and you have to provide a tracking number TO THEM, not the other way around) and want you to pay the return shipping, even though their part was defective. Car parts are heavy, and to return the defective part would cost as much as the part itself! Even if they decided to give me a refund, it would barely cover the return shipping! I'll never shop from them again!
Photo id required for purchase
Placed an order.( not my first time either) And a day later received several emails. I blew them off as order tracking updates. A day later I received another, I opened it and it stated my order was on hold pending verification of who I am , thay wanted my photo ID and several other items of identification. Never ever have I had to do this for anyone including PayPal or any of my credit-cards or ebay or Amazon. I told them I will not ever provide this to any web site especially them. So they canceled my order. No reputable site would asked for a copy of your ID. Buyers beware. Needless to say they lost my shops business not a petty 1 order a year customer. Good riddance!

I received a defective MAF sensor out the box. I installed it the car would not start, I reinstalled the old one and the car fired right up. I tried to return the part with the explanation of the issue. I've had to escalate, call, send 2 emails, attach a picture and I still can't do a simple return!! Then they asked me for a mechanics note to prove the part is defective!! I've had to call at least 10 time 5 of those times I was hung up on right when my time in queue was up! Customer service is purposely trying to frustrate you so you will give up and they don't have to return your money. Do not buy anything from this place, good luck getting a good part and whoa if you need to return it! Run!

I ordered a condensor that was to include two 2" double end threaded studs for connection to a/c lines. Only one stud was included in the box and it was loose and rolling around inside. Could not find the second stud. Contacted customer service, the wanted me to ship the entire order back because they said they could not break up a set to send me the missing part. This is crap. I'll never order anything else from them and I would recommend that others do not as well. I have been unable to locate a replacement stud as it seems to be fairly unique.
Customer service is terrible!!!
Customer service is terrible!!!! And thats the nice way to put it. Wanted to know why my order was canceled First call i get put on to a dead line after the lady said "one second let's find out" second call I actually get answer as to why and then try to find a solution to keep it from happening again I get hung up on. Won't do buisness with them again and I hope I get my parts. Edit canceled my second order wont stand for terrible service.
If i could give zero stars I would
If i could give zero stars I would. Didn't check my parts when delivered. 2 of the 3 parts were damaged and/or junk. Since I didn't report within 7 days they wont guarantee a refund. Why would I pay shipping to return it and then they have the option to refuse the refund. What a joke. Live and learn I guess.
Sends parts with different part numbers…
Sends parts with different part numbers than on the order invoice and will not take them back without you paying shipping and 20% restocking fee. A total Rip Off
I paid for expedited shipping which…
I paid for expedited shipping which guaranteed I would receive the part in 2-5 business days. Its been 5 business days and its still in their GA processing facility. It has barely moved two states in that time. I ordered parts from a competitor in NC 2 days ago and got those parts in 2 days without paying extra.
I shouldn't have to pay more just to wait longer. I don't have 2-3 weeks to wait on your broken processing system and virtually no customer service. And the parts I got from your competitor are $25 less and seem to be better quality. Terrible shipping experience and you lost this customer for life.

I order two hatch lifts for $32.95 and they sent me one hatch lift of a different model that also cost $32.95. When I called, the customer service agent said sorry, nothing could be done. I will have to pay to return the single hatch lift.
Return Parts Rip-Off
My far the worst return policy in the country. To start, PartsGeeks never ask customers to verify the part number before purchasing an item on their website. I myself purchased a headlight assembly. It arrived in a huge box. When I noticed the fittings did not match, I called to set up a return. I was told that there would be a 20% restocking fee, and I was responsible for the return shipping cost as well. When speaking with a supervisor, I explained to him that there's no information on Parts-Geek website that requests customers to verify the part number before making a purchase. His reply was, "I'm sorry, that's our policy" His explanation is Bull-Shit because it doesn't stipulate that important fact. Therefore, I'll only receive back approximately 20% of the $137.00 I paid when I include the cost for restocking and shipping fees. I will never buy another Item from Parts-Geek!

It took about a month for my part to arrive. After receiving it, I realized I was sent the wrong part. I had issues returning it because they did not want to refund me my money even though they sent the wrong part. And on top of that I had to pay $80 for the shipping fee after finally being able to return it. They still did not refund me all of my money, I had to dispute it with my bank. Terrible all around.
Do NOT use Parts Geek - Buyer BEWARE
My experience with PartsGeek was extremely disappointing and ended up costing me both time and money.
I ordered a replacement door locking mechanism from PartsGeek. The part did not work, which meant my mechanic had to remove it and source another locking mechanism elsewhere. Not only was I out the cost of the defective part, but I also had to pay additional labor charges because the job had to be done twice.
To their credit, PartsGeek issued an RMA and authorized the return. I promptly shipped the part back at my own expense and included the RMA paperwork exactly as instructed.
Unfortunately, because I failed to separately provide the tracking number through their return system, PartsGeek has refused to issue any refund whatsoever. Their position appears to be that without the tracking number, the return effectively doesn’t exist — even though they almost certainly received the part and now possess both the returned item and my money.
As a result, I am out approximately $200 between the cost of the part, return shipping, and additional mechanic labor. I also have no way to recover the returned part itself since it is now in their possession.
Defective parts happen in the automotive industry. What separates good companies from bad ones is how they treat customers when problems arise. Instead of showing any flexibility or attempting to verify receipt of the return using the RMA information they themselves issued, PartsGeek chose to hide behind a technicality and leave the customer holding the bag.
My takeaway is simple: if you order from PartsGeek, document absolutely everything, save every email, upload every tracking number immediately, and assume there will be little to no customer advocacy if something goes wrong.
I won’t be ordering from PartsGeek again.
Nasty company and a bunch of liars
This is a nasty company and a bunch of fraud. I ordered a part and paid for expedited shipping and a week later the part has not even shipped yet. Customer service is useless. They make up excuses knowing well that they don't have the part in stock. After many complains and many phone calls, they are asking me to wait another week and refuse to refund me. FRAUD
They are liars and thieves
They are liars and thieves. Do not order from them wrong parts double orders paid 81.00 to ship parts back have proof they were received still will not refund the money. There are plenty of honest companies on line choose anyone but this one. We are out 300.00
Parts geek is a total scam
Parts geek is a total scam. We bought an expensive part, found out it was something else wrong so we sent the part back. We didn't even use the part, just opened the box and realized once we got in the car it was something completely different. We sent the part back....which we had to pay almost $70,shipping. They won't refund, says there is oil ALL over the part, see attached picture. There is a spot of oil which could be wiped off, we had to pay $70 to send a prepaid shipping label. They give you the run around and apparently only the warehouse has the authority to give refunds, but you can't get ahold of them. Make it make sense.
ZERO help from customer service
I prefer a starter and received brake wheel cylinders. I contacted customer support which refused to replace it and send to part that I ordered I asked to speak with a supervisor and they also refused to help in any way whatsoever!!!! I’ve ordered from them many times before but didn’t know if they ever messed up my order they would do absolutely nothing to rectify the situation!!! Would give zero stars if I could
2 of 3 boxes came in damaged
2 of 3 boxes came in damaged. They required us to return all 3 boxes at our cost (which was almost as much as the original purchase) instead of just sending replacements for damaged items. Not our fault items arrived damaged. One wasn't even in a box, just wrapped in bubble wrap and all bent.

This company is gouging people with a 20% restocking fee plus you have to pay shipping costs if you return a product ordered. BAD BUSINESS. DONT USE.
