Very disappointing experience with Payoneer. I was simply trying to attach my Fiverr account for freelance payments, but my Payoneer account got blocked without any proper explanation or warning. All my information was real and verified, yet the system suddenly restricted my access for no clear reason.

I contacted support multiple times, but instead of a proper explanation, I only received generic automated responses. As a freelancer, payment platforms are extremely important for daily work, and situations like this create unnecessary stress and financial problems.

I expected much better transparency and customer support from such a well-known company. Blocking accounts without clearly explaining the issue is unfair to genuine users.

Payment delays

I've been using Payoneer for about 4 years. In the beginning, I would withdraw from Payoneer around 9 or 10am and it would always land in my bank account around 7pm on the same say.

For the last 7 or 8 months, it has taken anything up to 2 or 3 days, which was extremely irritating. But, this morning I withdrew and funds were in my bank account in less than 5 minutes.

If this is the way Payoneer is going then I will be sticking with them. If not, then I will be moving to another payment platform.

Funds frozen for an item long delivered — Support closes tickets without solving the issue
I am an international e-commerce seller and I am extremely frustrated with Payoneer's service. My customer received their ordered item a long time ago (the tracking confirms successful delivery), yet Payoneer is completely blocking my hard-earned money.
To make matters worse, instead of resolving the issue, their customer support keeps closing my inquiries as "duplicates" without actually addressing the root cause or providing any human assistance. I am being left without my funds and without any clear communication.

Do not use Payoneer under any…

Do not use Payoneer under any circumstances unless you want your account to be closed and your money withheld without any explanation.

After 4 years of using the account only to receive and withdraw payments from companies in a completely legitimate way, even using vendors associated with Payoneer such as Airtm to withdraw my funds, they closed my account for supposedly violating the terms and conditions, which, after reading them myself, I can confidently say I did not do.

The only response they give you is that the decision is final, and they refuse to tell you the actual reason. They leave you completely helpless with your money being withheld. After researching, it seems I am far from the only person going through this same situation.

If you can avoid it, do not use Payoneer for any reason.

Payoneer’s customer support has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve dealt with recently.

I contacted support multiple times to resolve issues related to account registration and document verification. Instead of receiving assistance, the calls were repeatedly unsuccessful because the representatives claimed they could not hear me, despite my phone functioning normally with every other call.

I submitted legitimate verification documents several times while attempting to open a business account, yet I was unable to get proper guidance or resolution from support.

A financial platform handling customer accounts should provide reliable, responsive, and professional service. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.

Payoneer is 100% not trustworthy

I wanted to make an account in order to be able to sell on Catawiki. Other than that I had no business ever making an account. I completed absolutely everything they asked me, all the personal information they asked, thinking it would take a few moments like on Revolut to get approved. They instantly blocked my account, I thought it was weird as I had provided all the information needed. I called them and the lady on the phone seemed like she was instructed to keep me on a loop on how I didn't follow guidelines. When I asked her what i didn't follow she said she couldn't tell me to keep user confidentiality. What user? I am the user. She kept keeping me on a loop for another 30 minutes on the same "if you want us we can send you our guidlines and you can figure it out". I do not see why anyone would ever want to work with them, they seem completely oblivious to the world around them. I feel like they just gathered my data and gave me the boot. Be very Careful with this "bank".

Withdrawal canceled for no reason

I have had a withdrawal canceled by this company for no reason and was informed to reach out to my bank which I did and no issues were found. I started the withdrawal again and they canceled it again and left it in pending status so I have no access to my money at all. I have been patiently waiting for this issue to be resolved for over a week at this point and each time all I am told is that it has been escalated with no resolution. AND IT SEEMS THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE ANY MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE, AS ONE IS NEVER AVAILABLE TO ASSIST.

Blocked account – No access to human support

I am writing this review in hopes of reaching a human representative at Payoneer. Recently, my account was blocked without any explanation.

I cannot log in to my account, and there is no possibility to access live chat or phone support as it requires a login as well. I have sent multiple emails explaining this, but I have only received automated responses suggesting that I reset my password or try logging in later—neither of which is possible while the account is blocked.

I am simply looking for a human agent to review my case and provide a clear path to resolution. I value the service Payoneer provides and would like to resolve this professionally. The reference number to my issue is 260527-010363.

I will be happy to update this review once I am able to regain access to my account.

Have been using Payoneer for several…

Have been using Payoneer for several years with not much of an issue, but just recently they blocked my account. I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to unblock it now for over a month, literally sent dozens of emails and talked to ‘support’ with no avail. Frustratingly most of their support services require you to log in, which obviously you can’t do if they’ve blocked you out. Sent several pictures and ID etc etc and still waiting. This companies support service is virtually non existent. Can’t get access to my own money! Grrrrrr

Terrible Experience with Payoneer – Hidden Fees & Poor Customer Support

Worst experience ever!

I created a new Payoneer account because the website I was working on removed local payment options, and Payoneer was the only available option for my country.

After completing the entire onboarding process and all required verifications, I requested a withdrawal of $66.21. Out of that amount, around $29.51 was deducted as an “annual fee.”

Their customer support is one of the worst I have ever experienced. They do not reply to support tickets, and the representatives on calls do not even know how to properly deal with customers or provide professional support.

Out of $66.21, I only received around $33.50.

I will also escalate this issue on social media once I get free from my other work commitments.

Very poor service overall. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I am writing this to highlight the complete lack of accountability and professional communication at Payoneer. My account has been held in a verification loop for 70 days, despite my full cooperation and the submission of all requested legal documents.
The Timeline of Failure:
March 17: Case started by Jason. He was unable to resolve a simple verification and forwarded me to the 'Risk Department.'
Late March: I was directed to contact the '2nd Chance' Department. I emailed them and waited 20 days without a single response or acknowledgement.
April 17: Only after I escalated the issue on social media (X) did Sofia contact me. I immediately submitted high-resolution, stamped bank statements as requested.
April 24: Following another week of silence, I posted on X again. Both Sofia and a Supervisor reached out, promising that the matter was being handled internally and asking me to wait.
May 26 (Today): It has now been over one month since a Supervisor and Executive Support took over my case, and 70 days since the process first began.
The Issue:
I have provided every document requested: clear photos and physical bank stamps. I followed the specific instructions to 'wait for internal communication' and avoid sending follow-up emails to prevent delays. However, following the rules has resulted in over 30 days of total silence.
It is unacceptable for a global financial institution to paralyze a user's access for 10 weeks over a manual document review. This is a complete failure of the support system.
Demand: I require an immediate manual review and reinstatement of Customer ID: 99366500. I am no longer accepting generic automated responses."
