Unjustified blocking of customer money. Paysera did not release funds even with fulfillment of legal requirements. I had to claim at the central bank of lithuania and it turned out that paysera is often blocking people‘s funds illegaly. Check for yourself on the website of the central bank of lithuania (lb.lt) and search „paysera“.
Take your money out of this bank before it‘s too late!

They cut off the well established service company Ventus from access to their funds, which leaves me being unabe to get access to my investments. Looks like that decision leads to bakcrupty without a judges decision on the case. Very Poor businees ethics by Paysera

Extremely disappointing experience.
My Paysera account has been blocked for 28 days, and I still cannot access or transfer my own €870. The reason? I received three legitimate transfers from friends.
Since then, I have provided screenshots of conversations confirming the transfers, supplied my friends’ phone numbers so they could be contacted directly, and answered every request from Paysera. Despite this, my account remained locked.
What makes the situation even more frustrating is that Paysera requested documents related to my partner’s bank account, which felt like an unnecessary intrusion into private matters.
Customer support has been equally disappointing. Email responses often take several days, and when calling support, I have experienced rude and dismissive behavior. On one occasion, an agent refused to repeat their name when asked and simply replied, “I already said my name.”
When I left a review, Paysera responded with a generic message asking me to contact support again. The problem is that I have already been in contact with support for weeks without any meaningful progress.
To make matters worse, Paysera has now decided to close my account entirely, which is fine. However, despite making that decision, they have informed me that it may take up to 30 additional days before they transfer my remaining €870 to another bank account. Holding a customer’s money for nearly two months over three personal transfers is completely unreasonable.
I understand that financial institutions must perform compliance checks, but this process has been excessive, invasive, and extremely frustrating. Had I known this could happen, I would have chosen a different service from the beginning.
And when you call them, they are rude as f*uck, there is no super visor to talk to or any manager. They keep saying “sent an email” and the response time on the emails 1 email pr day, at 17:00 and then next day 17.00 you can’t get any help from them.
I cannot recommend Paysera based on my experience.

Communication and help towards reactivating my account

Reply from Paysera
I am very disappointed with my experience with Paysera.
My account was restricted and my funds have been frozen for more than 22 days. The balance on my account is EUR 115.60, which comes from my legitimate work as a music producer. I have already completed identity verification, including a video call, and I have fully cooperated with all requests.
Despite this, I have not received any clear explanation regarding the reason for the restriction or an estimated timeframe for resolving the investigation. Every time I contact support, I receive the same generic response asking me to wait.
These funds are legally earned income and I need access to them for my personal expenses. I understand the importance of compliance checks, but the lack of communication and the prolonged restriction have been very frustrating.
I hope Paysera will review my case as soon as possible and provide a clear update regarding the status of my account.

I would rather eat a dump truck of shit than deal with this outfit ever again!
But let's take it in order.
On the positive side - very pleasant people in support. At the office they're always ready to help, with priority queuing for business clients. Extremely pleasant communication. All of this creates the impression of "well, I've found my dream bank." Until you talk to Angelina Dudareva. She's a representative of a young offshoot of up-and-coming managers with pugs - the "pug-managers." Angelina has absolutely zero understanding that clients are also people. On the contrary - she sees them as opponents. If you end up with Angelina, rest assured, the nastiest prospects that "Paysera" can offer will open up for you.
Another positive point - the absence of strict rules for business. But it's too early to celebrate - extremely aggressive compliance behavior. They conduct personal investigations into things they have not the slightest understanding of. They're firmly confident in their decisions. They mass-block accounts without digging into the substance of the issue. They present this under the guise of "we suspected, we assumed, we're not obligated to explain the reasons," and that's apparently enough for them.
And here's the inconsistency - the rules are flexible, which attracts clients. Then compliance simply throws them overboard for far-fetched reasons that "Paysera" doesn't disclose (probably because they don't know themselves). The result - an enraged client.
I studied the statistics and got the impression that it's exactly this behavior by the "responsible department" that has cost "Paysera" a 30% drop in profit over recent years.
What surprised me a lot was that you can buy Danish or Swedish kronor, but you can't make a transfer. Some kind of dead-end situation.
And lastly - the app. Can't say it works badly, or has any critically weak points, but it's unpleasant to look at. Looks like a standard set of components from a free design system. But that's a matter of taste.
Overall, if you own two Priuses and rent them out, this is the option for you. But if there's activity on your account and your business depends on that account - steer clear. At the most inopportune moment, you'll be strung up by your weak spot, and your funds will be taken hostage

My experience with the Paysera Visa card was absolutely great over the past years. Unfortunately, due to the new regulations and requirements for non-EU residents, I was unable to renew it. Special thanks to Youssef and the support team for their professional and fast assistance in closing my account smoothly.

Online Banking service from a country like Kosovo is very important, so inclusiveness is one of the points that I personally value the most.

Thanks to Tomas from Paysera, whose help enabled me to recover my money from an online store for an item that I never received.
He responded quickly to my messages and made sure I was not left to deal with the issue on my own.
A trustworthy company that I can confidently recommend.

Do NOT trust the positive comments. You can bank with Paysera for three-four years and they will just suddenly close your account. I had opened a new account and had a client pay me around 500 EUR. Immediately blocked and the client got refunded. I was not able to get my money. Customer support will just postpone you into oblivion. The phone line is often not reachable. Terrible company with even worse practices. Please avoid at all costs !!!!!!
