As an exchange student I wanted my experience to be easy, this has been far from it. When I arrived my keys were not there and I waited nearly 6 hours for the building manager to respond and in our deposit they say 100 chf will be taken to clean- this is actually just a room inspection. I left a few pieces of paper and cardboard and they have charged 300chf to clean, do not trust this company
We rent a very nice apartment from Peikert. In the last year, we've had problems with the heating, water and, more recently, flooding in the basement storage units (twice).
Each time, Peikert's response is, frankly, slow, they seem to spend little on preventive maintenance and do not exactly jump to fix issues.
They have tried hard to push the responsibility for damages and problems caused by the basement flooding to us, rather than dealing with the problem swiftly & efficiently.
When they finally DO get around to fixing things, the repairs are done well and to a good standard.
