Poor customer service

Ordered a £250 book over ten weeks ago and paid upfront, was told it would take 6-8 weeks to deliver. No one informed me that the book would be delayed. Called twice for a status update after 8 weeks and ten weeks and was told they’d contact the supplier and get back to me but I heard nothing. Eventually I asked for a refund which they provided but never had any explanation as to why the book was so late… overall the customer service was very poor.

Always able to assist

Very quick replies to emails that I have sent over the last few months, they were able to address my queries in a proffessional manner promptly. Nice to know there are still very helpful companies around, top marks to them and the staff I have dealt with.

Ordered FOUR books recieved TWO.

Ordered FOUR books. I was charged for FOUR books.
Received TWO books, with an invoice saying that ONE is out of stock, but no mention of the FOURTH one which isn't even mentioned on the invoice, but again I have been charged for it.

Emailed several times and have had no response. TWO books missing but you have neither refunded me or even bothered to respond to my complaint.

They published my book after destroying…

They published my book after destroying it during editing biggest woke publishing ever. My book has been out 2 years and have not received a single royalties payment my book “FDR and High Treason at Pearl Harbor: Roosevelt’s Scandal” apparently has sold 18,000 books in Japan I will never publish again with Pen & Sword and I recommend no author does.

Awful experience

I preordered a book, they reduced the price in the meantime and refused to even the price out. Do not trust them.

Very bad customer service

Ordered a book online. I received the email confirming purchase. I was supposed to receive a follow up email including the postal tracking number of the parcel. When I didn't receive the follow up email I emailed the seller enquiring about my purchase. I received an apology and an explanation that due to an oversight my purchase hadn't been dispatched but that they had rectified the matter and I should get the item within two weeks. I emailed the seller again asking for the tracking number and still haven't received a response. If the book is out of stock they should have told me so. Leaving me the decision of waiting or of cancelling the order and purchasing the book from another source.
