Update : Business manager has been in touch , He has said they have fallen short in there own expectations and transparency, He has apologised and has looked into it all and has given me a resolution to close it off , Great car shame about the dealership, I will only leave a honest and truthful review, This is my experience, Travelled from Stoke-on-Trent to see the car as I already had a test drive in one few weeks prior , so just what I wanted reference the colour and spec , Jack the salesman sore to me and I did say this is where I stand and if we cant do a deal then lets not waste either of are time and I will be on my way, We got to the deal so I sent £38000 to there bank account that same day , Jack said to collect the car a week on Sunday which was ok with me , So the deal was they would pay my left over finance for my EQC Merc on the 26th/27th January 26 as otherwise it would generate another settlement figure as it ran out on the 28th Jan 26, I sent over paper work to get my car taxed ready for pick up on the Sunday but on the 24th Jan had a phone call from Jack saying they cant tax it as they would not take a photo copy of the paper work I sent which was scanned in and we would have to leave it for another day to which I said I cant as were away and when were back we only have 2 days then I'm away again , then I asked is the car in my name to which he said no so I told them to cancel the order and return my £38000 I had sent them , Then I get Giles the manager on the phone saying we can do the tax on Sunday when you pick the car up and any incur of any cost would be reimbursed to myself so I said and what about paying of the Merc to which he promised me it would be paid on the Monday 26th Jan or the latest Tuesday 27th Jan , Picked up car on the Sunday did paper work and had to put £250 deposit as the V5 still had not arrived due to not getting post as we were only getting post once a week, got given the keys and sent on are way , Midweek I rang Jack to say I was missing the grannie charger and the extension lead and that the normal charge lead was just thrown in the boot not even in the bag to which he said he would send out to me what was missing which he did and informed I had rang the finance company to see if they had paid the outstanding balance , The finance company said no and that day took my payment for the Merc out of my account and informed Jack about this and he said he would sort it , Then a phone call from Jack saying need a new end figure which was less than the other one and seeing I paid an instalment they would send me the money back but then he came up with this theory as we didn't have the V5 then they could not pay the car off I said what at no point did you ever say anything about this , so what they did was send me the holding £250 back plus the difference from both fingers so this left me -£178.81 which they would not pay me back , then I sent an email saying I would reject the car under the 14 day rule to be met with an email from Giles the manager asking when's the best to call this was on Monday 9th Feb 26 so I said anytime after 5pm or anytime tomorrow and its Friday 13th Feb 26 and no call , I have sent an email to Giles saying do not bother calling or emailing as it will go unanswered saying keep the money as its not about money its about being honest , truthful , morals and doing write by customers when promised things , What should have been a nice pleasant time in buying a new car has made me stressed and angry , Will say the car is amazing but will not be going back to this dealership to purchase the wife's new Seal I will take my business closer to home or which dealership can be honest from start to finish , This is my honest and truthful dealings with this dealership and I am making people aware of this as this could be an isolated incident but they never tried to fix it sadly and I don't want anybody to go threw what I have endured , I'm sure they will reply to this with lets sort it out or were sorry you went threw this , The normal statement that these companies use to show they care

The sales team were great when I was buying the car — friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Unfortunately, everything changed once the sale was completed. The aftersales service has been really poor.
I’ve had multiple issues with the car, and despite reporting them, communication has been almost non‑existent. I’ve been left waiting long periods for repairs with very little information or updates. It’s been frustrating trying to get even basic responses, and the lack of support has made the whole experience stressful.
To make matters worse, the car has not been fit for purpose from day one, and getting the company to take responsibility has been incredibly difficult. What started as a positive purchase has turned into a long, drawn‑out problem.
Based on my experience, the sales process may seem good, but the aftercare is severely lacking. Go else where!!!

I was called by Pentagon Kia to book my 1 year old car in for service. I didn't book and decided to check. It is an electric EV3 and the service interval is actually 2 years or 20,000 miles. This is very confusing.

1⭐ Review Pentagon Peugeot
I purchased a vehicle from Pentagon Peugeot around three months ago after finding it on AutoTrader. I made it clear from the start that I needed a car quickly as I had just disposed of my previous vehicle. I was assured over the phone and via email that the car was “showroom quality.”
Due to time pressure on the day of collection, I was unable to inspect the car thoroughly until a few days later. When I did, I found:
• Scratches across the passenger-side dashboard (looks like damage from a dog)
• A chip and scratch on the bodywork that was not disclosed
• Rubbish left inside the car, suggesting it had not been properly valeted
• Rear air vents not functioning correctly
• A wireless charging pad that overheats my phone without charging it
When I checked the vehicle recalls, I discovered a safety recall was still outstanding. I raised this with Eliza, who incorrectly stated via email that recalls are only “online updates,” which is not accurate.
After weeks of back-and-forth emails, I was passed to Matt. This was already two months into the issue. I was offered three options: a full refund, £250 compensation, or for them to fix the damage and issues.
When I agreed to repairs, the process stalled repeatedly. I was told it would be sorted alongside a courtesy car booking, but this was delayed. Matt then went on leave without passing the matter to anyone else, leaving the situation unresolved yet again.
After further delays, I felt pushed into accepting the £250 just to bring the matter to an end. The payment was sent without any confirmation email or explanation.
The overall experience has been disappointing. What was sold as “showroom quality” was clearly not. Communication was poor, the recall information was incorrect, and the handling of the complaint was slow and unprofessional.
I would strongly advise anyone purchasing from this dealership to inspect the vehicle extremely carefully before driving away. This is pentagon Barnsley

Just a warning about buying from Pentagon Mazda. These sold me a faulty car for £24,000 that I part exchanged a nice car against for convenience at a very low price, the car I bought needed a new engine which became apparent after the drive home which I notified them about quickly with videos. The warranty seemingly didn’t cover this repair.
Fast forward 3 months after almost daily calls and emails and a lot of stress they refunded me the cost of the purchased car however I actually lost thousands due to the part exchange which I was told was my decision at the time of sale and not their problem.
The senior staff namely Stephen and Arnie at Pentagon Mazda and BYD don’t really care about after sales and only acted after a email to the MD of Pentagon group. They always say they’ll call back by the end of the day but actually don’t.
I’d strongly recommend if you do buy from them don’t part exchange with them. This is actually the worst business I’ve ever been unfortunate enough to deal with. I’m thousands of pounds down due to a dodgy dealership with clever small print. Edit. As you can see pentagon responded to this and suggest I can contact them to discuss. They have all my details from months of trying to sort this out and are not interested in discussing this. I would be expecting the members of pentagon Mazda and BYD to be demoted due to their efforts. I’m considering legal action now.

What should have been a simple warranty repair turned into months of stress, wasted time, and repeated trips to the dealership — all made worse by poor communication, dismissive staff, and shockingly low standards of workmanship. Across three visits, my car came back with damaged, oily fingerprints all over a near‑white interior, misaligned trims, dirty floor mats, a missing car key blade, and even the brand‑new headliner already marked and incorrectly fitted.
I was spoken to rudely, given contradictory information, and left without transport. The situation became so bad I had to involve SEAT UK just to get anything taken seriously.
My previously immaculate car was left in worse condition than when this started, and I’ve completely lost confidence in this dealership. I won’t be using Pentagon SEAT Scunthorpe again, and based on my experience, I’d strongly recommend others steer clear.

Bought a pre-registration car with 1 mile on clock. 60 miles into journey home, warning light comes up and require breakdown team to attend. Fault codes cleared and travel back to Edinburgh. Agree with Pentagon to bring the car back to Burton to have checked, all fault codes provided. Car is checked and no faults found by Burton on Trent. 3 weeks same fault has recurred. Claim this is due to the codes being cleared despite these being provided in advance and acknowledged in the pre check-in process
Complaint lodged with Pentagon customer services, 4 weeks later still no response despite follow ups sent. Having now to pursue through motor ombudsman.

At first Pentagon were ok, moving from Drive Vauxhall who in the end abysmal.
My first full service was good including a courtesy car…. It rapidly went down hill, wanted £20 for the courtesy car etc… I asked for a quote for a new Cam belt “three times” …. Eventually coming in at £1600 ….. Halfords £600 so you do the maths…. Steer well clear of this group, they do not understand the word customer service… Amateur outfit and disjointed.

Contacted pentagon renault oldham, to have original oem accessories from the renault catalogue to be supplied and fitted. Received and email from Sam Churchill central manager who informed me that I would need to speak to parts. And supplied a phone number for Lincoln (I live in Manchester) after a brief discussion with parts, who informed me he doesn't supply parts for renault cars.
I contacted pentagon oldham again where service would book my request in but would need to get a quote for labour. One week later I recieved a text message from an unknown number quoting my request at £1023 for labour plus parts (roughly £500)
I called renault wigan who couldn't be more helpful and told me that my requested order supplied and fitted is a set price through all renault dealerships and that price is £662.80 all in including Vat. Plus anything ordered from renault catalogue is fitted at reduced labour rates roughly half price.
Pentagon oldham tried to scam me out of £900+. I'd arranged a service plan for the next four years i can assure you I will never take my car anywhere near this company... Pentagon is a cowboy firm
Be warned customer service is outrageous and means nothing to Pentagon.

I visited the Kia dealership in Mansfield today regarding an issue with my Kia EV3. The concern was clearly visible panel gaps on the front doors and a noticeable misalignment/protrusion at the front of the vehicle.
After a brief inspection, the technician stated that this was “acceptable tolerance.” I strongly disagree. This is a brand-new car, and visible body panel gaps and misalignment should not be considered acceptable under any tolerance.
What was most disappointing was how quickly the issue was dismissed, without any detailed technical explanation or proper investigation. The explanation given felt generic and unconvincing. It gave me the clear impression that the technician assessing the vehicle lacked sufficient experience, particularly when it comes to body alignment and build quality issues.
Buying a new car with visible defects and being told that this is “acceptable” is simply not acceptable. Customers expect higher standards and more competent technical assessments from an official Kia dealership.
Based on this experience, I have lost confidence in the level of technical expertise at this dealership.

Do not give this garage your phone number, as they will not leave you alone!! Had now 4 to 5 calls from an over zealous Lauren. Only interested in COMMISSION and will hound you until they get a sale. Found a car elsewhere in my price range.

I was ready to proceed with a purchase and pay the full asking price for a new vehicle advertised on AutoTrader. Yesterday I was told delivery could be arranged (at my expense), only to be told today that delivery is not possible at all.
For a national dealership group that advertises “nationwide delivery” on its website, this is extremely disappointing. The explanation given was that they are short staffed and have a large showroom, which is hardly the customer’s problem.
The whole experience has been a waste of time and the service has been poor from start to finish. I only wish I had checked their Trustpilot reviews before engaging with them in the first place.
The salespersons name was Liam Lloyd. I offered to arrange my own transport and he didn't even respond. Pentagon have responded to the review and offered to assist but provided no contact details.

Buying from this business 12 months ago a Vauxhall Corsa for £10,000. They threw in extended warranty, thought i had a good deal. 12 months on engine light lighting up on dash. Took it back, wanted to charge me over £1000 for repair. Conversed with leadership at this place only to be re-buffed. Extended warranty not worth paper it's written on. I picked my car up as can't afford repair, only to be charged £155 for machine analysis. Am disgusted to be treated this way! No Good Will, nothing. AVOID THIS BUSINESS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

My mother and I purchased a vauxhall corsa 21 plate from vauxhall Burton on trent in July of last year and we've had nothing but PROBLEMS ever since. We sourced the car through female friendly finance and financed the car through Moneybarn.
We've taken the car in for brake, speedometer and DAB radio issues already. We then had a warning light about the vehicle needing oil and come to find out after spending £70 on oil We didn't need it. Bare in mind we've only had the car not even 6 months.
Fast forward NOW, 9 January 2026 whilst driving SEVERAL warning lights lit up the dashboard: ABS BRAKING SYSTEM FAULT REPAIR NEEDED, HILL START SYSTEM FAULT, COLLISION DETECTION RISK SYSTEM FAULT, ESP/ASR SYSTEM FAULT REPAIR NEEDED. Due to the persistent amount of problems with this car we've now raised complaints with Moneybarn and Female Friendly Finance, quoting the consumer rights act. We also raised a complaint with the pentagon group but NOBODY has contacted us to resolve. These faults are a clear hazard to not only us but to other drivers on the road as well. We found a service receipt in the vehicle after purchase and noticed that the engine in this car has been replaced and we have repeatedly asked why and get fobbed off and told they do not have to disclose which in fact they do. Also, I have a 5 year old grandchild and if something happens to her whilst driving the hazard of a car your company will be sued
Basically, we do not want this car anymore because its faulty!!!! Someone and I dont care who but someone from pentagon needs to respond to this review with the best contact number or my lawyers will be contacted and also the Motor Ombudsman

Drove from Derby to Pentagon Loughborough to look at the Chery. My husband requested a quote by phone after discussing it, didn’t receive it, so called spoke to Adam again, who assured us we’d get the quote that by 6pm…. Still waiting… 5 days later… pretty poor hat you can’t even get a quote… that’s 10 days!
