SLOW PROCESS

I returned my parcel to Percival and it was received on 29 Dec.

It’s now 7 Jan and I still haven’t heard anything back about my refund. I’ve already emailed customer service, but no one has replied at all.

Really disappointed with the lack of communication.

A month to let me know item was unavailable

(UPDATE) 1 star as they got my name wrong.

Wanted to return my trousers for a different size. Took a month for them to get back to me saying it was unavailable.

I now have a jacket without the trousers for my wedding. I’m trying to get a gift card which they offered but this is also proving difficult.

Not received refund after 1.5 months

Nice clothes but terrible customer service. They received my return on 29th November and I've heard nothing since. I understand it's been Christmas which is a busy time but I've been emailing customer service asking even for a confirmation that I'll get a refund *at some point* but no one replies to emails. Don't order anything unless you're 100% sure you won't be returning it because you might not see your money again any time soon. No idea if I'm receiving this refund or not and will have to escalate it with my bank.

Ordered a jumper for Xmas on 11…

Ordered a jumper for Xmas on 11 December and it didn't fit my son. I did not receive an order confirmation email so can't return it via your returns link, but I did snap shot a picture of the confirmation when I placed the order. Have emailed hello@percival twice and heard nothing back. Please get in touch so I can return this item.

No word on return

Bought a jacket in mid December, returned it for it being too big, but asked for it to be swapped to a large. Percival notified me that they received the jacket on the 20th of December, and after a lot of emails I still haven’t heard back from them. The clothes at Percival aren’t cheap, and being left stranded is absolutely atrocious customer service, amongst the worst I’ve had and I will not be returning as a customer.

Really bad returns, good quality items

Items are of good quality for the price.

The returns process is unacceptable. Returns were received on 9th and 12th December. Its Jan 6th and still no reply/refund despite numerous follow ups.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively.

First time customer and ordered their…

First time customer and ordered their much hyped Guinness Jumper. Ordered in November and finally received on the 9th December, some small print in the description saying it wasn't being released until then. So they have had £169 since early November. Didn't fit correctly so I returned it the next day and it was received back on the 12th December. I can appreciate with Xmas perhaps a small delay, however 27 days later, not a word, no response from emails chasing. Clearly have grown too quick and have sacrificed customer service for a quick buck. Will not use again.
Update - Thanks for the reply, I have already contacted your customer service and received no reply. You clearly have a broken returns system as you have been unable to even acknowledge a return in a month, let alone process a refund!

Missing 2 refunds

I'm still waiting on refunds from 2 separate returns, once going back to mid-November, and another early December.

All a bit of a joke considering they deduct £3 per return too.

Appalled at the lack of response despite multiple follow ups. Needless to say I won't be purchasing from this brand ever again.

I also don't think the quality and fit of the products is consistent. Better off buying from Primark and saving your money.

Good clothes - terrible customer service

I have been buying clothes from Percival for years and love the quality, T Shirts and Hoodies are FAB. No complaints on clothes. However, the return service leaves a lot to be desired. My last order which i returned last November, collected by InPost on the 29th November, I still haven't received a refund/credit or any comms from the company. I have send 4 chase up emails, no response, It's 6 weeks now. There is no phone number on the site, no chat facility. Really poor.

Unacceptable Delay in Refund

I’ve been waiting over 4 weeks for a refund from Percival, despite returning the on time item and contacting customer service multiple times.

Under UK consumer law, refunds are required within a reasonable timeframe (typically 14 days after a return is received), so this delay is unacceptable even with the busy period.

The lack of communication and failure to process the refund has been extremely disappointing and very off putting. I would not recommend ordering from Percival (I will not be ordering again) unless you’re prepared to chase your own money.

Breaching Refund Policy

I’ve ordered from Percival many times and love the quality and style of the items.

A huge disappointment for me has been that they have repeatedly taken over 14 days to refund me after confirming that they have received my returned item - a clear breach of the Consumer Rights Act, 2015.

I’d love to have said it’s a one off or a festive period issue, but I’ve had this issue twice in the past… and am experiencing the exact same issue again.

Store experience - great. Product experience - great. Returns - shockingly poor.

Don't expect a your money back

Returned my order on the 5th of December, a month later and still no refund. Multiple emails have been sent to resolve which they haven't replied too.

I have been completely left in Limbo questioning whether it is a genuine company?

Not like were talking about a couple of pounds either.

Get your customer service in order.

This item arrived with the left…

This item arrived with the left interior sleeve lining sewn in and twisted. I could not get my arm in at all. Since I am in the States, the thought of weeks of back and forth customer service or return didn’t seem like a good resolution so I took it to a tailor to have them fix it. I am hoping Percival will reimburse.

I will not be buying from Percival…

I will not be buying from Percival again, and I strongly advise others not to purchase from this brand unless you are absolutely certain you want to keep the item.

I am currently waiting for refunds on two orders that were confirmed as returned by Royal Mail on 26 November and 8 December. This is not an isolated issue. On a previous occasion, I returned an order in May 2025 and did not receive my refund until September 2025 — a four-month delay.

This is completely unacceptable. I am fully expecting Percival to respond with their usual copy-and-paste message telling customers to “contact customer services with your order number”. Funnily enough, that has already been done multiple times, without resolution.

Percival’s own T&Cs clearly state: “We will issue a full refund or exchange the garment (excluding original delivery charge) within 7 days after we receive the goods back.” This has not happened, and Percival is therefore in breach of its own terms.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND

Returned items in late November that were delivered back to the depot and accepted by Percival on the 24th Nov. Still no refund for £300 of items, and it is the 4th Jan. Customer service does not respond.

They are not offering a service you would expect of a respected brand - I would not buy from this brand again and this is a warning to others.
