Bought hosting over 20 years ago from a great company. Never had I issue. Hosting was on a dedicated server. When Performive bought the company they had to adhere to the contract I had signed with the company 20 years ago. I guess they did not like providing me with a dedicated server that had only my websites on them for $30.00 per month. The services started to degrade over time. They were not maintaining the server as per my original contract. Eventually my sites went down and stayed down for days. Causing my company lost revenue. Performive refused to maintain the server so I canceled my hosting with them and moved. I canceled the contact on the 20th of the month. I started to receive harassing calls and email to pay them for the next month of service ($30) and that i did not meet the time frame for cancelations. There was no notice of a timeframe for cancelations when I canceling. Nothing popped up, no notification or anything telling me I would have to pay for the next month. I had to cancel 5 days before the billing cycle, which I did. But I still go the notices that I had to pay. They even tried to scare me saying they would report the $30 to all 3 credit agencies. I got a call from my account manager telling me to not worry and the fee would be waved once I explained to him I could sue the company for lost revenue and not maintaining the server as per the contract. Still got the calls and emails. Not until I sent a cease and desist letter did my contact with this company end. If your looking to host a site. Look elsewhere and save your money and possibly your company.
