Help needed!
HI,
I have had a car for upcoming to three years now via permonth/bluemotor finance but unfortunately was involved in an accident and the car is non repairable.
Mark from permonth provided gap insurance for three years on the vehicle but i cannot find this anyway (change of my emails etc)
Does anyone know how to find this as they are now non contactable or what company they would have used for this?
Any help would be most appreciated
Thanks
Lack of Voluntary termination clause.
I entered into the contract with permonth in Jan 2019 on the assumption that could hand back in 26 months, but that would appear to be ONLY a break clause with Blue Motor Finance. My agreement is with Santander, who do not have that same Voluntary Termination clause...

Returning your car
Hello all
Returning car is easy
1) ensure you have paid the 50%
2) contact Blue Motor Finance or send them the letter in the pack you were given. Make sure they know that you won’t be driving the car or paying anymore for it. Send them a pic of the mileage as proof.
3) they will try to talk you out of it. Say no
4) they collect the car - personally I’d clean and hoover it out!
Alternatively just trade it in at a dealers.
I traded mine in for a new one as it was easier for me.
Such a shame, per month were a terrific company. I had 3 cars and recommended loads of people.
All the best!
Has anyone managed to return there car…
Has anyone managed to return there car yet?
Per Month - MC Turner and Sons Ltd
Thanks for the posts below, I too have a car that is coming up to the two year point. Disapointed that there has been no communication re the insolvency of MC Turner and Sons Ltd. The insolvency company is C/O Harveys Insolvency & Turnaround Ltd 2 Old Bath Road Newbury Berkshire RG14 1QL on 18 October 2019 if that is any use to anyone. I haven't contacted them as yet and if anyone has any idea of what are rights are it would be good to hear from you.
Update on this is I contacted Blue Motor Finance and they have said that you can still return your vehicle and swap for another as it was with Per Month just using one of their other agents. It is worth getting in contact with Blue Motor Finance as they were very helpful.
My agreement terminates June
My agreement terminates either June or July this year, i.e after 26 monthly instalments. As I see it Permonth was merely acting as an agent/intermediary for the finance company, Blue Circle. When I replaced my current car with Permonth they delivered it and took the previous one away. I would imagine that the car should now be returned direct to Blue Circle, in accordance with the terms. I will contact Blue Circle for clarification. Is there another/others online forum on Permonth and who is the liquidator ?
Whoops. Not Blue Circle but Blue Motor Finance.
Did anyone find out what happens if…
Did anyone find out what happens if your mid agreement with Permonth now they have gone bust. Are we stuck with the car? I'd be keen to hear from anyone else in this situation.
Moving forward...
What does this mean in terms of returning your car now? And then getting another one. I’m mid agreement on the car I got from per-month.
Per month in liquidation
Please note, per month is now in liquidation, really sorry to see another business fail.
Big thanks to the team at Permonth
Big thanks to the team at Permonth.
Very happy with my new car. Couldn't have asked for more; quick and easy process. Friendly guys too, really helpful advice and honest guidance.
Extremely pleased, will be recommending you guys to friends.
SHOCKING
Well after reading all the comments I must be the only person in the country to have had a terrible experience with this company. They have not upheld their part of the agreement at all.
I was promised that I would receive the vehicle 10 days after paying my deposit and a month later still no vehicle.
I keep getting dates that I can expect to receive the vehicle and nothing, no contact the day before and a no show on the day.
keep in mind that while all this is happening the finance agreement still needs to be upheld.
I have been given a courtesy car which I gratefully accepted as I was given the impression that it would only be for a few days as I made it very very clear that I need the car for the 10th as I require it for my job. today is the 14th and I have had the courtesy car for 10 days and its been a month since I paid my deposit.
the unprofessionalism and lack of contact unless you call them is shocking
1st class
Have just had another car delivered by Permonth and really cannot find any fault with them whatsoever.
The service is A1 and any issues or queries are dealt with straight away. Cars are in really good condition and well checked prior to drop off.
I have just read a few of the negative reviews on here and felt the need to point out that I have literally handed a car back to them today and taken delivery of another one. No issues with handing back and I am certainly not out of pocket.
Quite the opposite.
Through work I do a lot of miles and having the unlimited miles agreement works brilliantly. Quick and easy to deal with, professional and fair to a fault.
Already thinking about my next car 27 months from now!
Dead simple
Dead simple, very aware of customer service, paid for an issue that arose with the vehicle immediately.
I have had 3 cars, recommended lots of people and as yet. can't fault them.
If you can find a better deal than an A1 vehicle for a very reasonable price per month, unlimited mileage, a service, valet, tax, warranty, breakdown, take it!!
Mark and the team at Permonth are…
Mark and the team at Permonth are exceptional!
I have had the pleasure of using Permonth for two vehicles and i can honestly say that the service provided is first class.
You not only receive a fantastic grade A quality car but also support, advice and a personal approach, which is not often found in my experience.
Leasing a vehicle can be a daunting experience, however with Mark and the team you'll feel reassured it was the best thing you did.
Thank you for going the extra mile
You only test a company when you have an situation, to see if they support you and go the extra mile. This is exactly what Mark Turner did, he explained how he was going to help me, at this stage I was was very worried, due to cost of the repair to my car and the time lines of getting the car back on the road. The out come he went the extra mile and more, I was blow away by his honesty, help and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this company as they are a pleasure to deal with. I feel very comfortable that Mark Turner is only a phone call away should I need his help and support in the future.I wish this company good fortune in the future. Kind regards Sue Ladd
Excellent Service
Firstly, I would like to say someone should give Julie at per month a medal. She is so kind and genuine and handled every question I asked perfectly. She hand-picked a couple of cars tailored to my specifications and I was very happy with the choices she put forward.
no hassle, no drama, signed two pieces of paperwork, paid a deposit and sent off my driving licence, that's it. I ordered on a Thursday car came Monday. May I just say the car is spotless. Nothing to sign, they gave me an organised file with literally everything I needed, the keys and off they went.
All-in-all I am very satisfied with the service I received 10/10 for the whole service. I would recommend per month to everyone.
Per month? !!! You need to be EXTREMELY cautious
You need to be EXTREMELY cautious about dealing with this company! Mark, the owner , is not entirely transparent as he positions that you are signing up to a simple two year LEASE agreement. In actual fact you are signing up to a HIRE PURCHASE agreement where you OWN the vehicle! The entire cost!! You CAN give back the vehicle after 2 year through an early termination clause but the difference is you are liable for the entire outstanding balance!! Meaning if close brothers (the finance company) do not sell the car at auction you are STILL liable for the remaining cost & any difference. 10s of 1000’s potentially! Speaking to Close Brothers & they are absolutely shocked at this practice of permonth as they have provided Mark cars for another firm which he uses Permonth as a front for to “lease” - cars already bought , but really SELL the car back to close brothers....

Initial service is good however handing back not as described
Initial service is good however handing back the car is not as described this is not a lease its simply a hire purchase agreement. Website now says hand back after 26 months however this is not correct. (I purchased my car in Sep 2016 and was told can hand back after 2 years). You don't hand the car back to per month you have to voluntary terminate the agreement direct with the finance company once 50% of the payments have been made. This means I cannot hand the car back until month 28 and run the risk of 4 months where no warranty is in place
Fantastic service
Fantastic service, cannot speak highly enough of Per Month.
I dealt with Steve and nothing was too much trouble. Car delivered on time and in perfect condition. Clear contract, with no hidden charges or small print. Will use again.
