I contacted Dean after returning home from holiday to a rat infestation in my flat. He arranged to visit within a couple of days.

Not only was Dean very knowledgeable, he is friendly and down to earth and immediately set me at ease when he arrived. He explained everything he was checking and was going to do to try and ease my anxiety.

He did an extremely thorough job and even checked in with me between visits promising to return sooner if I was worried about anything.

Dean is upfront from the start of the cost and what you will receive for this price (unlike other pest services I spoke to at first).

Within the three allotted visits, he seems to have dealt with our problem 🤞 and I now have my home back. Thank you so much Dean. I sincerely hope we never need your services again(!) but rest assured if we do, we will not hesitate to use Pest Boss!

Firstly Dean is one of the nicest people I've met, he is extremely knowledgeable and has such a calming presence, it instantly made me feel at ease. We had rats in our wall cavities, it was honestly so unnerving and a horrendous time, they are so loud. Dean took his time explaining the process, what was happening and how it would pan out with time scales. He scanned our whole house and all possible access points outside, even visited our neighbours to check. I was able to call or message Dean if I had concerns between his visits and sure enough he has eradicated the problem and they can no longer get in. I chose Dean because he came through time and time again on Facebook as highly recommended.

JUST LOOK NO FURTHER for SERVICE and TRUST - Dean was very fast to respond to my call on Saturday early morning. He offered to visit me on Sunday early morning to investigate a hornet nest which was giving me a true cause of concern having two young children. Dean solved my problem quickly, he gave me peace of mind (priceless) - He also recommended there was no need of treatment and as a result he did not charge the call out. JUST OUTSTANDING. The other 4 companies I contacted have yet to return my call and I will let them know if they do call back why they lost my custom and any future one.

Excellent. Came out the same day and removed the wasps nests.

I called in the morning after discovering evidence of a wasp nest and got a visit that same afternoon. Dean was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable - what more can you ask for. Hopefully the problem is sorted with one visit but certainly peace of mind that they will come back if needed until the job is done. Would definitely recommend

Dean was prompt in replying to my initial contact, was able to visit within a day to start working on the problem and solved it quickly. Dean only had to visit 3 times to ensure my garden was clear of rats, and always exactly when he said he would. He is friendly but professional and I would highly recommend him should you have a need for pest control services.

Beware, unsuccessful treatment.

Check any guarantees and get them confirmed upfront in writing. Unfortunately, after spending £180 for ant treatment we were advised that the guarantee covered period of only 3 weeks, direct contradiction to the invoice that states ‘allow 3 weeks for activity to clear’. It is nonsensical that the guidance within the invoice/report then voids any guarantee.

For transparency of the review, we have used Dean and Pest Boss previously, and we reached out at week 6, but had we known of the 3-week guarantee expiration period we would have made contact earlier, as you do not expect to pay £180 for any treatment to have a recurrence of ants within weeks in the exact trouble spots that instigated the initial call out for treatment.

The only solution offered was to use boiling water or pay an additional £180 for a second treatment, that would be £360 in 6 weeks! We are fair people and would always be willing to pay for second treatments, but we do expect the first treatment to have worked.

Product used within treatment was Fendona 6 SC (ml).

Investigating directly with the supplier of Fendona 6 SC (ml) to the UK, the most common reason for unsuccessful treatment is incorrect mix of product. 25ml of Fendona® 6 SC diluted to 5 litres water is sufficient for maintenance use, although a double dose is recommended for heavy infestations and for soiled or highly absorbent and porous surfaces to ensure sufficient coverage for optimum activity.

It is also recommended that Fendona is used alongside Fourmidor® or other ant bait for complete colony control. Returning 2-4 weeks after treatment to check for any continuing signs of infestation, replenishing bait points if they are empty and ants are still visible.

We can only assume that our treatment was unsuccessful due to incorrect mix dosage being applied, no ant bait control, nor any discussion around a return visit to establish success of initial application.

Within 24 hours of contacting Pest Boss, Dean visited and dealt with the wasp nest quickly and without fuss and at a good price. Treatment was seems to have been really effective as virtually no wasps seen within a couple of hours of his visit

Excellent service. Called on Thursday and Dean was here Friday lunchtime! Incredibly helpful and kept us informed about the process and what was being used, how long to leave the problem area due to chemicals etc. Very lovely to deal with!

Dean is a lovely man, very professional and friendly and put us at ease re the rat problem. Placed bait boxes in 5 gardens and came back 3 or 4 times to check them on the arranged days. Answered all our questions and even came out one evening to remove a dead rat from neighbour’s garden! Highly recommend!

I used Dean to help solve a mouse problem, Dean did the job very quickly and not only did he get rid of the mice, he advised on how to prevent a reoccurrence of the problem. I’d definitely recommend Dean.

We had mice in our home. Dean from Pest Boss made three visits to us for a prearranged price and was great every time. Not only did he deal with the issue, he gave a lot of his time to us to allow us to ask any questions and gave us plenty of advice. On the final visit he made every effort outside to secure our property from further unwanted visitors.

I contacted Dean at lunchtime. He was courteous and professional on the phone, and came to our house by 3pm the same afternoon. After checking all round our house - not just at the roof tiles I had pointed out - he took the time to explain his observations and to answer all my questions about how wasps behave and what to expect. The job was complete within half an hour at a very reasonable rate.
