Items missing from delivery

I placed an online order to be delivered to my home for 3 items. Only 1 was delivered, even though the associated packing slip showed all 3. When I called customer service they were able to refund the missing items but that doesn't help with actually physically having the items I ordered. Extremely frustrating.

Apoquel …

I recently was expecting an order of Apoquel since I'd been communicating with customer service. I called back the next day and was told my card needed updating so it was never placed. If I hadn't called my dog wouldn't be getting her medicine.
All she would be happy to do is take my money for a new order.
I went with pet meds. This is the second time it's happened.

my first time ordering on line received order . The problem is about half of the 10 cans of dog food were badly dented the box it came in had no damage so they must have been packed this way.I would never buy badly damaged cans.So I am a little disappointed!

Good pet store

Our go to pet store in our area. This is where our dog gets his haircut. The groomer did their best to groom and wash our dog. I also buy treats and other dog products here and they have reasonable pricing.

Autoship, What a Farce, What a Joke!

I went to do Autoship for first time with the perception I was going to get 25% off on the items I ordered. Every item I ordered even though beside each item right at the top " Use Autoship, get 25% off " and it was on every item! Of all the items I ordered, and I did select Autoship, not one item I ordered had 25% off. It was all regular pricing. Had I not checked the math I would have placed the order. What a farce.

Completely up the price of cat food…

Completely up the price of cat food once you are on autoship. No warning, they just charge your credit card with no option to cancel....shady! No longer a customer of Pet Smart.

What a joke of a company

What a joke of a company! I live in U.S. and ordered a product that was promised to be delivered by a certain date (so I could take it as a gift to Someone in Canada). The day it was to be delivered, it still hadn't shipped. So they told me to order it on their Petsmart.ca (Canada website). But that site will not allow orders to be delivered in Canada to be paid for with a U.S. credit card with U.S. billing address. Six calls to customer service while working this for 5+ hours (never called back from them when promised multiple times). What a joke of a company! I can buy products all around the world with my U.S. based credit card and address. Pathetic!

Horrible grooming by Alex in Kelowna

Horrible grooming by Alex in Kelowna. She butchered my poor dog. Bald patches all over and nails not trimmed. I have been going to Petsmart Kelowna for 9 years and have never had a problem. I am horrified by this last experience. She did a horrible job!!

We have been going to PetSmart in…

We have been going to PetSmart in Okotoks Alberta for many years. Dawn has groomed 2 previous dogs and now we have a new puppy. We hope Dawn never goes anywhere. She is fabulous! And the people in the front of the store are so helpful and nice.

This is NOT about in store service

This is NOT about in store service, which has always been great, but about customer service (or lack thereof) for online orders. It is impossible to reach customer service by phone and the music that plays in combination with that voice that cuts in every few seconds is beyond annoying. Is that AI voice supposed to be sexy? If so, that is weird for a pet store. After waiting for what seemed like forever, I could no longer take it and hung up. I tried two days in a row. I would give a rating of zero if I could.

I been going to pet smart for a very long time since I got my first dog and my experience has always been great starting with staff and customer service. When I go and ask for recommendations they always answer my questions.

Unethical practices - please be weary

Today, Oct 21, 2024, I visited my Scarborough (warden and eglinton e) petsmart to purchase dog food. While there , I noticed there was a betta in a margerine type of tub that could barely be seen through the lid. I approached the cash and asked for the store nanager who could not have been less interested snd asked if I wanted the fish placed in a clear cup like the rest. The betta , a 26.99 premium betta, was dated indicating in had been in the container 4 plus weeks in store unsold. The same staff went to the fish area to assist customers and I approached asking if she would discount the betta as it surely would die in the container not jn view of customers. She took the container, opened the lid and with no expression called front cash to discount 50 percent. I said is the fish ok? Sick? Injured ? She handed me the container with no reply.

I purchased the fish for 14.00 .

I returned home and took the lid off to see the betta had cloudy eye disease both eyes, was laying on the bottom of the container and appears blind .

I would have taken this poor little guy regardless. If it’s parasitic , poor water quality and/or malnutrition, I will do my best to ensure this betta has the best possible end of life. I am absolutely disgusted that the “manager” of this store or acting for the day, in anycase, did not have the decency to at least inform me. Severe cloudy eye disease is not hard to notice.

I will never give this store my business again after being a customer for 30 plus years. Shameful.

Took my dog to the groomer she ended up with puncture wounds on her neck
The grooming manager said it might have been my cat ( Sorry don’t have a cat ) and then more excuses
So off to the vets shaved her neck and then a shot of antibiotics for the infection

Petsmart is cheating with their…

Petsmart is cheating with their discounts. They offer "20% discount on ALL regular priced items..." NOT true!!!! Only specific items are dicounted!! This is called "FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! You just lost a customer and a did win a bunch of bad reviews!!

Their toys are crap

Their toys are crap. They constantly break. ALSO beware that if you are using TREAT POINTS on a purchase and you return that item - you lose all the points as they are not refunded. Only store that I ever heard of that deletes loyalty points.

Be kind to your animal...Don,t Go Here!

Do yourself and your pet a favor and don't bring them to the Whitby Petsmart on Victoria Street East. We had the worst experince bringing our dog in for a nail trimming last Friday afternoon. They do not take the time to get to know your animal and just attitude from the staff the entire time. We tried to explain the bread mix of our animal and they continued to tell us we were wrong. The process to trim the animals nails is ridiculas. Do you wonder what it's like have a noose on your neck while skating on a slippery surface? Then rather than taking time to see the tolarance of the animal with tools, they pull out a nail grinder and attempt to use it on your pet expecting the animal will stay still. Its no wonder they suggest you come back rather than stick around. Would you bring your car to a hardware store to get it fixed? Use the same logic with your animals and let Petsmart sell pet products, not work on your pet. Your pet will thank you.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Answers to my complaint were just stock answers as if my letters were not being read. I tried three different times to convey that their website is difficult to navigate when trying to edit orders. I have been pleased with instore selection, staff and hours but unfortunately customer service matters to me more. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

PetSmart Sudbury is a joke

We just bought 20 crickets from PetSmart in Sudbury, was surprised they actually had some in stock because the managers there are clowns. When we got home 6/20 were dead, consistently crappy store. Northern Exotics has better selection of sizes, always in stock, and gut load their crickets. No I don't own or work there.

Highly disappointed…

I recently took my small dog for a grooming. Honestly , I use Pet Smart half the times , shared with another groomer. I recently found out Pet Smart is charging an extra $12.00 for brushing out . This of course is on top of the premium paid for grooming . Young lady at the grooming salon was apologetic. Not her fault , I get it . She did give me a 5:00 promotion coupon . My bill before tip was $127.00, taxes in .It would have been $132.00. My dog is a bischone, .it was a regular cut , I honestly can say I will not be returning to Pet Smart ever again. Other groomers are half the price and do as good a job. I think you need to rethink your pricing . I’m sure you’ve already lost business.
