Great 3 nights multi-activity family experience. Convenient accommodation, professional and friendly staff, fun and challenging activities, good food. Big positive shout out for no TVs in the rooms. Kids had to play outside or board games. Happy days

A great place, facilities and staff!

Our girls love their PGL adventures. They’ve been 3 times and as soon as we collect them, they ask when they can go back. They make great friends and experience activities such as fencing or archery that they’d never otherwise experience.

We really enjoyed our PGL family adventure. The staff were really friendly and great with the children. A good range of activities throughout the day. Looking forward to going again.

Our son had a fantastic time at Marchants Hill. He stayed Tuesday to Saturday and it was amazing value for money. He enjoyed all the activities, the timetable was varied, packed, challenging and fun and he (a vegetarian) liked the food too! The staff were all helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. Highly recommend.

Really great value....so much entertainment, great activitues-both adventure activities & the fun ones outside of adventure hours. The whole environment is really sociable, kids (& some adults) gather over sporting activities on the lawn, the scenery is beautiful, food is plentiful and everything is really taken care of for you.
A word of advice....take bug spray (there are mozzy's but we had spray & thankfully didn't get bitten), take a sleep mask if you like it dark as fire exit signs glow bright, & dont bother taking footballs, etc as it's all there!
Bar & refreshment prices are reasonable so it's probably not worth taking much on the snack front, free water refills too....it is tiring but I can't say how much my family & I enjoyed this experience.

We loved family weekend, my daughter conquered some of her fears which was amazing to watch. They were also brilliant with food allergies which made my daughter very happy to have a choice and feel safe eating. We will definitely be booking to go back again.

All the students were engaged and had a great time. Staff were super friendly with our pupils. Safety breifings were clear. Brilliant

My child had an absolutely fantastic experience at PGL! From start to finish, everything was brilliantly organised and full of exciting activities that kept her engaged and happy the whole time.
The staff were wonderful—friendly, supportive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my child was in such a safe and encouraging environment. She came home full of confidence, new friendships, and amazing stories.
The location itself is beautiful, and the variety of activities offered is outstanding. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into making the experience both fun and enriching.
I couldn’t be more pleased—an excellent experience all around. Highly recommend PGL to any parent considering it. Definitely 5 stars!

PGL staff from the booking team and at PGL Liddington have over the years been professional, accommodating, understanding and supportive, giving our students with additional needs enjoyable and enriching experiences while on Residential trips. It is because of this that we have been booking two trips with PGL over the past many years.

A brilliant experience, will be booking again

From start to finish PGL especially PGL Liddington is a high quality experience for students and staff alike. From dedicated group leaders, an array of activities to choose from and brilliant facilities on site.
We take our Y11s each year for a weekend revision trip mixed in with fun activities to give them a chance to make memories with peers.

great accommodation , leaders room / lounge area is a great improvement being on same corridor as the scouts rooms

Great visit and leaders. All the children had an enjoyable residential and would recommend to others.

We have just returned from a fantastic maths camp at PGL Dalguise and cannot recommend them highly enough. From the moment we arrived until the second we left, the staff looked after us completely; everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A special shout-out must go to our group leader, Kirsty, who was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to engage with both pupils and staff, making sure everyone was happy and included throughout the trip. If you are looking for a seamless, supportive, and welcoming environment for a school residential, PGL Dalguise is the place to go!
