Replacement parts not on stock.(> 2 months)
Replacement parts not on stock.
Tried to find razor parts on the web, this wasnt easy as there arent any webshops which sell or have on stock the exact type of philips razor blades. (SH90/60). As your last resort you turn to the vendor webshop, for replacement parts. But guess what the philips webshop is also out of stock! Hopefully with a bit of luck they will be ontime before my razor blades fail on me. Unfortunately razor blades have failed today and the razor blades are still out of stock as of today (12 sep 2018), philips is able to supply replacement parts for more than two months!!! Guess it time to switch razor vendor.
Bad bad bad aftersales customer experience
I bought 2 robot vacuum cleaners. The thing itself is fine, but i discovered later, that there is absolutely no easy way to purchase a filter. Because - and this is quite funny - Philips does not sell them! :)
I went to their company store in the beginning and bought 1 filter, surprise, surprise - I come home and it does not fit! Of course, I could not imagine this would happen, therefore I did not take the receipt. Why would a Philips employee sell me the wrong filter, when i specifically tell him which model of vacuum cleaner I have?
... who knows. Anyone wants a random Philips filter? I guess it has to fit some device...
So then, already slightly agitated, I contact Philips on Facebook asking what sup with this and where can i get filters. A very kind man helped me, but the solution is still quite funny. There is a secret part number (not described anywhere on the Philips website), with which I need to contact some service part retailer in the Netherlands and they may order it for me...
3 weeks (!!!) later I can go pick my filters up, the sales guy was laughing, that they really need to do a special order at some manufacturer for this.
OK, got my filter, but though, "Oh, lets let other people know, who want to purchase this device, that filters are difficult to get and leave a review on the Philips site".
I gave a good score to the robot, but mentioned that I was really unhappy about the whole filter story. And of course - review is rejected form a "no reply" email address, asking to adjust the review, as it doe snot fit the guidelines. When I go on the site to do that - it is not possible.
Currently I am even more agitated.
And the review is only rejected. There is no contact attempt from Philips, saying "Oh, we are sorry you had this experience, we will improve".
So I paid more than 300 EUR for 2 devices, for which I am not sure, how long there will be any filters available at all. The customer experience sucks, which I see on the score here on Trustpilot. Probably we are here all the rejected unhappy customers from the website... :D
Cheers to that, Philips, good job!
Brand new TV doesn't work and Philips don't care
Bought a brand new TV from Philips this week and it would be a great TV except iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and 5 On-demand do not work. Philips advised me that these apps are not certified with the BBC, ITV, etc. This means that they do not work at all on this TV. What kind of amateur organisation offer apps that aren't certified and work?
Philips, get your house in order!
Avoid disappointment and buy a different TV that works. We are returning this one.
I bought a Philips electric toothbrush
I bought a Philips electric toothbrush. In about two months it breaks down or starts waking me up in the middle of the night. They keep sending new once, but Philips is really not making any quality products anymore, too bad that Philips has gone down this crappy road. This is the last Phlips product I buy.
Abysmal.
Abysmal.
I emailed these people to try and find out what shaver blades I needed to replace, my old ones, they said HQ8, I paid on the 22nd, and of course when they arrived, they were HQ56, simple mistake?? After 20 minutes on the phone, and a whole series of photos later a refund was agreed.
NOW, 8 emails, yes 8 , and photos, without a reply, I am left with shaver blades that don,.t fit , and £25.00 out of pocket.Thier product might be reasonable but expensive, but their so called customer service might not as well be there.
They are absolutely atrocious.
For a so called International company this does their reputation no good whatsoever, still they don,t really care do they, they have £25.00 in their coffers, and I am stuck with a set of shaver blades that don,t fit??
I am fuming at the way I have been treated
DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS ON THREAT OF BEING ROBBED.
Dreadful Home Theatre systems. Slow and unreliable
I bought a Philips 5.1 Home Theatre system, trusing in the good name of Philips and wanting to 'buy Dutch' as I am living in the Netherlands. What a bad choice I made!
We had to send the unit back twice to be repaired, as it froze up after trying to install a software update.
Eventually Customer Service convinced us to swap the unit for a newer model. Basic operation of this new model was increadibly slow. Taking ages to open the CD drawer, not receiving signals from the remote control, and generally being a pain to use.
Conveniently for Philips, just outside the guarantee period, the unit is completely broken. The CD drawer does not open, and is completely unusable.
I recommend anyone thinking about buying a Home Theatre system from Philips to carefully reconsider. You will be wasting your money.
