My wife and I are celebrating our 15…

My wife and I are celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary and I wanted to buy her a diamond triple ring with diamonds in the shoulder.

The search began several weeks prior to purchase and I ended up visiting almost every jeweller in Leeds. At first it was quite overwhelming. Typical high street chains appeared to have some fantastic deals that initially made the more specialised jewellers look a bit over priced. However, when it came to viewing the rings in the flesh I quickly realised that it most certainly was not all about size. To a point, the 5 Cs really do matter.

It was at this point that I started researching and began a really interesting journey of discovery into all things diamonds. I soon realised that the high street retailers could not compete with the ‘proper’ jewellers who for a little more offered far higher quality certified diamonds, that looked so much better. Value for money swung very much back with the jewellers.

In the end I had narrowed my selection down to 2 rings. 1 from Phillip Stoner and 1 from another jeweller. Both were quite beautiful. In the end we purchased from Phillip Stoner for the following reasons;

Their professionalism and service was the highest I experienced,

I initially went to the Philip Stoner store in the Trinity Centre and spoke to a salesman there, apologies, I can’t remember his name but he was a breath of fresh air having been to other places,

After my initial visit I went home and began emailing a few jewellers, asking a few questions about what they had. I received a reply from all of them but it was Laura from Phillip Stoner who stood out. I asked many, many questions (sorry) and it was Laura who never seemed to tire from answering them. She quickly understood what we were looking for and found the ring we ended up buying. She was outstanding at answering any questions promptly, making me feel valued while never being pushy,

The ring we went to look at was in their Victoria Quarter store. I went with my wife this time who also looked at the other ring I had lined up. Again, the service we received from Phillip Stoner was noticeably of a higher standard. Knowledgable, professional, friendly and with no sales techniques. We primarily dealt with Saima who was fantastic. It was clear that Phillip Stoner staff take pride in what they do and rightly so, the rings they have are stunning,

My wife absolutely loves her ring. It is very well crafted which I believe is done by their jeweller within the store. The stones are beautiful and the amount of light they reflect is quite amazing.
Thank you very much Phillip Stoner.
