I do struggle to get the top off the filter but I like not adding used filters to the tip. It's easy to use otherwise and I can soon tell if the filter needs changing if I haven't put it in my calendar as scum starts to appear on my tea.

We're using our Phox compatible filter in a Brita glass water jug. Works really well and great not to have to dispose of Brita filters. The only thing I find is that sometimes the Phox filter gets stuck in the bottom of the Brita filter holder and pulling on the Phox lid, the lid pops off making it tricky to remove the Phox from the holder. Something for the designers to have a think about 🙂

We've been using phox water cartridges for a few years now, and I would say that converting from Britta filters was probably the best thing we ever did. I feel less guilty when I'm changing my filters as all I need to change now are the filter granules. I just put them in compost, compared to before, when I had to throw everything into the bin. I've tried both the softening filter and clean filter and both make the water taste better than just straight from the tap. I like Phox products so much that we've even bought the glass jug. Overall, best investment we ever made.

Great, because it saves plastic usage. Works well and needs changing less often than expendable cartridges

I thought I would just try this out and must admit that I didn’t think it would be as good as the filters I had been using for years, so I was really surprised and of course delighted when it was.

My old cartridges still left limescale in the kettle and my humidifier for my cpap machine. Since changing to the Phox softer granules hardly a trace anymore and I am in a very hard water area. So very pleased.

I have bought this as it is a more sustainable water filter system. No cartridges to recycle. A very competitive price compared to cartridges. I am hoping for great results.

Product does a great job cleaning water. However the cartridge itself is very poor quality.

I really appreciate having clean-tasting water and find it much easier to drink the recommended daily amount now that it doesn't taste of metal. I always felt guilty chucking yet more plastic trash into the bin, even though it avoided use of plastic bottles, so now I don't throw a cartridge a month away, I feel even happier!
