If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Ordered frames in December, received email acknowledgment - and payment taken - but complete silence since then. No replies to my emails, the phone number is out of service and, needless to say, no frames have arrived. This company should be avoided at all costs!

Poor customer service

Ordered a couple of frames. One frame was ok the second frame the persepex was damaged. Conacted said they would send out a replacement have been waiting 3 Months now. never again.

Impossible to contact

I ordered a frame from PicFrames which was the wrong size when it arrived. I emailed them several times, but didn't get a response so I tried to call, but their phone number does not accept calls. I even wrote them a letter in desperation but still got no response. So I am out of pocket for a frame that they got wrong. A total lack of customer service or any care whatsoever.

PicFrames - Faulty Frames

I ordered 2 basic Picture frames on 04 December 2024.
Frames arrived on 07 January 2025 following a delay with the courier.
I ordered Ref B26 - 40mm wide matt black painted frame but was sent a frame that was bevelled and only 25 mm wide.
I needed this frame to be 40mm wide to match other frames to go in the same room for a customer.
The other frame I ordered Ref B36 - 30mm square matt black painted frame the Backing sheet is massively too small and the artwork falls out.
Both of the frames I received are useless to me.
I have sent multiple emails to Mike at PicFrames, to date all of these emails have been ignored.
The website telephone number never accepts calls.
I have the mobile number for Mike/ Richard and have left 15 messages for a call back to resolve, all of which have been ignored.
This has had a knock on effect to my business and my customer has since gone elsewhere.
I would not recommend anyone purchase from Picframes.

Very Poor Service

This is the first review I have ever placed. I placed an order on 4 January 2025, other than a confirmatory email, I have heard nothing further. There has been no response to my emails. I tried to phone today but the number on the website is "out of service". The Company is actually called BBP Limited and trades as Picframes. According to Companies House it is not in administration or liquidation, however because the communication is so poor I am not confident the frame will ever arrive. I have asked my credit card company to obtain a refund for me.

Website faulty, unresponsive, do not recommend.

Would not recommend using PicFrames UK. Their website seemed to have a glitch that when selecting the size, the MMs or Inches tool would always revert back to MMs. I proceeded with the order and left notes in the notes section stating that its meant to be inches not mms. This note in the order was clearly not read as more than two weeks later I get an email from their sales@ saying they cannot make a frame 24x36mms. I replied to this email and received no response.

Still not response from them and cannot seem to get through with the phone number on their website.

Was meant to be for a christmas present so was very disappointed.

Obviously one to avoid

Ordered a box frame and received a standard frame, despite pic frames description of the order as box frame with spacer, and despite me paying the higher price. No response to emails so I guess I’ve been scammed. Should have read their reviews first - obviously one to avoid.

out of business?

Wondering if they’ve gone out of business. I received my 2 bespoke frames - late but they’re fine, but the bespoke sized mount also ordered was not included in the package & their phone line is out of service and no replies to my email. This is my second or third order with them over past few years and they’ve always been good, so this is disappointing

Awful. Nothing arrived. No response to queries.

Awful. Ordered over a month ago. Had an email to say it was in production weeks ago, but nothing since. Phone line out of order, emails not responded to. One received the response that it's "in production ", but with no estimated delivery date or time frame.
This wasn't a cheap purchase, and I've nothing to show for it.
All they need to do is respond & keep their customer informed.
Poor service. I can't comment on the product as I haven't received anything.

No Frames, no customer service

Ordered frames, confirmation email received telling me to expect delivery in a few days, then a week or so later received email saying that my order has been cancelled and I will get a refund soon. No reply to my email asking them to explain. Tried calling the fake contact number but it's not in service. What a ridiculous way to run a business. Fed up with these rubbish companies who have no customer service support or any thoughts for the people sending them money for a non-existent service. DO NOT USE

A happy customer

Communication was straightforward, I received separate emails confirming my initial order, when the frame had gone into manufacture and shipping date. Overall, from placing the order to delivery took 14 days. The frame is as ordered and I'm very satisfied with it. It was well wrapped which is just as well
as the cardboard box it came in had taken quite a battering.

Avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all costs.
I ordered a frame, it’s now 3 weeks later and nothing has arrived. Frame was needed for an exhibition they have not answered emails and phone number doesn’t work. Luckily I have found someone else to make the frame but I fear I have totally lost that money I paid!

No communication

Ordered a picture frame on 26/08/24 and immediately received an invoice. As I had not received the order by the 06/09/24 I emailed them as to the order status.
As of 08/09/24 no reply.

Worth persevering with

This does seem to be a very divisive company, but I have had only positive experiences having placed three orders with them so far.
I have been very happy with all of the frames that have arrived. Admittedly, delivery times seem to vary a lot, and communication in the meantime could perhaps be better, but all the orders have arrived within 2 - 3 weeks.
I have only had cause to contact them once, when a roll of brown sealing tape I ordered with the last frame didn't arrive. I did have to wait about 5 days for a reply to my email, but it did eventually come, and the tape was sent out that day and arrived the next.
Overall, I think they are worth persevering with, and I would certainly use them again, but perhaps don't place an order if you need the frame quickly or are impatient.

Avoid Picframes

I ordered a frame and received an email confirmation and invoice immediately. That is the last I heard from Picframes despite a further email requesting when I should expect the frame to be delivered. The email was not acknowledged.
The phone number from the website has a recorded message saying that the service has been discontinued.
I must assume the business is no longer active but is still accepting orders and payments. It is galling to waste over £50.

Do not place an order to this company at the moment. There seems to be a problem.

If you are thinking of ordering a frame from Pic Frames, try contacting them first, at the moment their phone is cut off and their email address is not recognised but their site is active and accepting orders. I ordered a frame from them five moths ago and was very pleased with the result. Based on this experience I placed an order for two new frames I have not received any confirmation and found it impossible to contact this company. I believe the business is having problems, but they are still getting payments. My advice is avoid them for now at least. I am afraid myself and all others who placed an order recently, may loose their money.
