I have been twice in a week recently and I cannot fault Piecaramba at all. Food was brilliant, atmosphere lovely and a decent price. Really lovely to see small businesses like this pop up in Portsmouth. And love the decor!! Just gutted I was so full from my main pie I could not have the cherry pie and custard, however my son loved it! Thank you

Appalling attitudes and short answered staff is not the way to be in the hospitality industry. We arrived at 3.40pm to grab a quick dinner before heading back to London. It was my wife and two kids aged 4 and 1. We went in and before we could even say anything, a blonde girl popped her head round from the kitchen and said, with attitude,"Ah sorry we have already started closing down the kitchen and we no longer serving." My wife asked for even something quick and she said, nope sorry, we start cleaning down at 3.45pm, it was only 3.40pm... so not a great answer. My wife said to her, that on the website and Google maps it shows open till 4.30pm on Sundays. Her response was blunt and full on rude to say, oh well I don't know, you will have to let me Manager know.

These people were rude and did not care. I am gluten free and had saved myself for the meal and our two kids were starving. This awful experience has left a disgusting taste in my mouth and will strongly suggest to address your staffs manors. I get it, it's a Sunday and they want to get out and go home however - long and short, they took the chance to close early, and it backfired.

Such a shame as we were looking to the best pie and mash but were let down by incompetent staff.

If you like pie, mash and nerd memorabilia then you are in luck. Visited the Winchester branch for this little niche cafe and I was not disappointed.

They cater to a variety of dietary requirements. I do not have any but my partner does and they did fantastic. They offer Vegan and Gluten Free choices. Will definitely be returning.
