Unprofessional and poor quality work
Despite a fee being charged to even receive a quote, the roofer arrived without appropriate materials as though he didnt know what to expect. The initial work carried out on the problem area was never going to solve the issue and in addition was botched, unsightly and amateurish.
After my complaint to Pimlico he did return and make improvements using more appropriate materials, but the whole approach to the work was unprofessional.
The cost of the work was very expensive, but I hoped by paying a Pimlico premium I would receive a professional service but can see no benefit in having done so.

Easy way to organise the time engineer can come over. Always polite and informative..my go to house issues. Not the cheapest but comes with guarantee which is worth paying tiny bit extra for.

An electrical socket had blown on my…
An electrical socket had blown on my ground floor. I was worried about my fridge freezer would start thawing as I had no idea how long the electricity had gone. I called Pimlico Plumbers around 18:30 and was promised that an electrician would arrive by 20:00. The engineer arrived at 19:45. Anel who was so friendly and reassuring, instantly set to work. He checked every socket on the ground floor and even the garden. Surprise, surprise. It was the socket in the garden that had blown. He also noted that there were a couple of sockets in my kitchen which would need replacing. I have no hesitation in booking him for the job.

A human being answered the phone very quickly - a good start!
The engineer came within the hour. I had a boiler problem plus booked a boiler service as it was due anyway. Although I had to pay for 2 hours which was expensive, I know the boiler is safe and working well. Thank you Pimlico Plumbers.

Hasan our plumber was great
Hasan our plumber was great. We had a heavy leaking washing machine and he got us a new pump and sorted out our blocked pipes. Really nice guy and we have a working washing machine.

These vans are causing an absolute…
These vans are causing an absolute nuisance to our area. At least 2-3 of them just dumped on our roads along Rosslyn Ave and Oakhurst Ave (East Barnet Village). They are unsightly vans and the owners choose to leave them on our streets rather than parking them in their own private drive ways. They park on corners or truly inconvenient locations to other cars, blocking key intersections and passageways to the street. Either park in your own private space or keep company cars on company premises! These are private roads not a company car park! There’s already limited parking space for residents and visitors

A bad job, a dud guarantee
Ten months ago I called Pimlico in to fix a leaking toilet. Exactly the same problem has recurred, so … it was a botch job. They say another leakage (in exactly the same place) was not covered by the 12 month guarantee!?!
I’ve now had to pay as much again to get the fix done properly, namely replace the macerater, which Pimlico had said they were doing in the first place.
Rating: unreliable and overpriced.

Joe attended promptly, assessed the issue with the cistern, and was able to locate the relevant part locally. He remained friendly and patient despite me being very anxious about faulty WC. I would highly recommend Joe and Pimlico’s.

The workmen were excellent
The workmen were excellent, nice, professional, knew what they were doing (at least that is what we think as laypeople). However the job was booked in and cancelled twice on us last minute. The office staff seemed not to have to much empathy when they called. As I said the workmen Dan and Sam were excellent though. Thank you!
