Lesson learned: Don't give second chances.

We've tried two different times to order from this company. I doubt there will be a third. With our first attempt, I immediately received an order confirmation email. Then, radio silence. Almost two weeks later, I sent an inquiry to see when the items (which I found out then were "backordered") would be shipped. 15 days after I placed the order, they sent me an email saying orders of this product were to be cancelled due to supply issues.

Flash-forward to this August. I placed an order on the 22nd. Six days later (not setting any records for speed), I got an email confirmation. As with last time--nothing more from their end. A couple weeks went by and I sent an email via the customer service interface. No response. I next found a customer service number on the website and was connected with a service person who looked into my order. She researched the issue and called me back (provided a really strange/trivial reason why my order was being held up) and then told me she got it resolved. My order status has said "shipped" now for over a week, but I have no tracking number as I was promised over the phone. Painful.

Great place to order from

Fast service..arrived 6 days after I order. I entered the wrong name, when I order...caught it the next day, was fixed before order was shipped. This company has great service. Do not pass them over.

BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!!!! I ordered 17 items from them in August 2011. They charged my Visa immediately (approximately $77). A couple of days later they shipped one of my items & told me all the other items were not in stock. They never divulged that fact when I placed my order. As far as I knew they had all the items I ordered. About 3 weeks later I cancelled the rest of my order as they did not know when they would get those items in. They said they would credit my Visa, but 2 months went by & no credit was issued. I contacted PlanetRx many many times & never got a response. I finally contacted my Visa in December 2011 & explained how I had been shafted by this PlanetRx & provided Visa with all the information. Visa refunded my money this week, February 3/12. I order all the time on line & have never dealt with such a DISHONEST seller. I want to extend a big Thank you to Visa. PLEASE LISTEN TO ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS & DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

NO STARS TOTAL RIPOFF!

Ordered submitted in Oct 2011, not yet received, no answers to inquiries sent on their website. Nobody answers their phone, given message to leave a message then told that the mailbox is full so you cannot leave a message. I have now gone through the credit card company to receive a refund.

5 months and have yet to hear on my order!!!

Vey dismal for a company such as Planet RX where the promise of prompt delivery on medicals and pharmaceuticals has fallen on deaf ears. Surprising enough when an exact similar order was made when I was in rural South Australia in 2010, the goods were delivered in quick haste and very promptly. Given I have moved to Metropolitan Perth, the order made back in Sep has had zero queries on replies back and the goods have yet to be delivered. The lack of response tells me that the company should be ideally facing liquidation and have instructed customer service personnel to ignore any queries that come through the pipeline. Anyone in that area who can validate that, please enlighten me on the status of this. But the lack of information on my purchase together with others on the same boat is dismal and very disappointing. Swindling an individuals hard earned money for a healt service provider is UTTERLY DISGUSTING and very unprofessional!!!

6 MONTHS - NO REFUND- PLANETRX STEALS YOUR MONEY

I placed a $140.86 order on July 27, 2011. There was a very long warehouse delay and therefore I cancelled the order. I was told I'd receive a refund. 6 MONTHS LATER - NO REFUND. I have contacted the company countless times.

THIS COMPANY TAKES YOUR MONEY - NO REFUND FOR AN ORDER LEGITIMATELY CANCELLED. THE COMPANY STEALS YOUR MONEY - AND DOES NOT REPLY TO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

THIS IS AN UNETHICAL AND UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY. YOU MAY HAVE YOUR MONEY SIMPLY STOLEN FROM YOU.

I PLACED AN ORDER THAT WAS DELAYED FOR WEEKS IN WAREHOUSE BACK ORDERING. WHEN I FINALLY CANCELLED AND WAS TOLD I'D RECEIVE A REFUND - I HAVE SPENT 6 MONTHS TRYING TO GET THE REFUND. NO SUCCESS. $140.68 IS A LOT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

After 8 months - happy end!

My 8 month experience with PlanetRx ended happily today. I received the items ordered on Sept.4th 2011. I am happy because I met the right customer service person, who was willing to solve this long time issue straight away.
Dear Jericho, the words can’t describe how much I appreciate your efforts, professionalism and understanding.
Here is my story: I ordered 3xOxipor 4oz on Sept. 4th 2011.I did not get the items till Oct.20th and asked PlanetRx to cancel the order and refund me. Customer service Daniel sent a refund request in Oct.26 2011 and since then I’ve never heard anything from PlanetRx, no refund either. I’ve tried everything – messages, phone calls, certified mail letters to PlanetRx, BBB and BCFP/office of attorney general complains. A few days ago I visited again the site of Planet Rx and I saw “answered” on my last open message since January 2012.. but actually they answered nothing, just closed the case. I was furious - someone out there read my message, but did not bother to answer. I sent another message…and here you go… I got an answer on very next day from Jericho, who was extremely nice and knowledgeable and checked everything out. I asked him if it is possible to cancel the refund request, and send me the items o the existing order.Anyway I have already paid for them and the refund sounds like a mirage to me.So Jericho made this to happen! During these 8 months I have been thinking what was wrong with PlanetRx online business and it was not difficult to get to a few points like: charging customer's cc immediately afte the order is made, not providing information for back orders, which made the customer angry and slow the process of delivery; if the customer decides to cancel the order, the refund request is made, but everything gets out of control - customer service don't have any further information of the refunding process, etc... Anyway.. today, just 5 days after the conversation with Jericho, I got my meds. It was unbelievable how a person can change a very negative approach to a positive one. Thanks again Jericho, for your outstanding customer service; I hope you will be able to help many others as well as to improve the customer service image of PlanetRx.

Don't do business with this site

I've been trying to get some information regarding my order I did for my elderly step dad. Placed the order 12 days ago and no status update.
Left several messages requesting update as they have no means to speak to a person. Take your business elsewhere unless you want to have issues. ken.knight1963@gmail.com

Horrid customer service

My credit card was charged upon order. Three months later I do not have my order. I contacted planetrx by their web inquiry system (they do not take phone calls, only phone orders!) without response from them.
I finally disputed the charge with my credit card.
Take your business somewhere else.

Charged for an order that never shipped - no response to inquiries

I am appalled at the total lack of responsibility to the customer. I was not notified my items were back ordered. Both inquiries I sent were ignored.

This behavior by a vendor is woefully inadequate in today's economic environment. I would not order a band-aid from them if they shipped it air express!

Take your business elsewhere

This is now Thursday, September 29th and you still have not shipped this order or informed me why it is being delayed or how long it will be delayed. Therefore, I am instructing you DO NOT SHIP THIS ORDER. If you do insist on making the shipment, I will refuse it and have it returned to you. I have already processed a claim for a full credit of your charge of $32.49 with my Visa card holder(Bank of America).

This order was placed and confirmed on Thursday, September 22nd. Now it is Wednesday, the 27th and it appears that you still have not shipped this order. If you have not shipped it by the time you respond to this letter, then I want you to cancel the order and immediately issue a full credit refund to my Visa account that you have already charged for $32.49.

Charged for order that didn't ship - no response to inquiry

4 weeks after my order, I finally got planetrx on the phone. They said the item was backordered for at least another 2 weeks. I had sent 2 email requests for updates to which I received no response.
To be charged up front for an order that may never ship is completely unacceptable. I was told I would receive an email confirmation of the refund, which I have not. I was told the refund would ALSO take another 2 weeks.
TERRIBLE.

Typical "take your money and run" kind of place.

Placed an order back in early August, card charged immediately, no activity on the account for weeks. There is no way to contact them by phone, and their "we'll respond to your email in 1-2 business days" is a joke. Kept emailing back and forth with them, each time they told me "2-3 more weeks", finally disputed the charge with my credit card. Received a portion of my order a few days later, but still waiting on the other stuff.

Charged for order that did not ship

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!!! Why can't we award NO stars? To award even ONE star is WAY too positive for PlanetRx! I placed an Order on Aug. 31. The credit card was charged immediately. As of Sept 14, no product, no email confirming the order receipt or status, or communication of any kind has been received. Attempts to contact customer service by phone have been futile - they don't offer it for "existing orders". No response to online messages I've sent. Online link to cancel orders does not work. This kind of operation has GOT to be illegal - WHERE ARE THE CONSUMER PROTECTION agencies that should be looking at all of these complaints???!!! I wish I had seen them before I ordered!!!

After reading reviews, pleasantly surprised

I ordered some mobility equipment for my daughter and waited a long time for it to ship. Every time I would check on it the order was still in the warehouse. I got nervous and read the reviews some of which were horrible on the customer service end. I fully expected to never receive my order and have my card charged illegitimately. I told them to cancel my order by going through their "wizard". I did threaten a little. To my surprise and relief, I did receive a refund in a timely manner. I don't know if Planet Rx has some issues right now with warehouse or something, but I hope they at least get some better customer service and communication with the customer about whether an item is out of stock or on back order. I also hope they make it easier to speak with a real person. My best wishes to Planet Rx if they are really an honest company with issues. I know how hard it can be to run a company, but hopefully they learn from their mistakes and make it better.

Charged for order that did not ship.

On July 20, 2011, I ordered $107 worth of OTC medications from Planet Rx because they listed items as available. They advertised 7-10 business days for receipt. By July 27, I checked on-line and saw the items had not even shipped, so I emailed customer service and was told the items were on back order. They had ALREADY charged the total amount to my credit card on July 20, and had not told me the items were backordered. It was mid-August before I received most of the order ($85 worth), however, I am still (on Aug 22) waiting to receive the rest of the order - no status on when it will ship. This is VERY frustrating. I will not order from PlanetRx again.

You can do better but you can't get much worse. Avoid!

I could be long winded and tell my whole story but it seems that enough of us have been burnt by this company. Sure, some of you got your orders nice and easy. Do you want to take the chance and end up pissed off? There are other vendors online but none could be worse than Planetrx. Take it for what it is worth. Just an honest opinion.
