Simple process, excellent service
Having never leased a car before I was a little worried over how much hassle it would be. Looking back now I'm thinking that I didn't really have to do anything apart from sign a couple of forms and email them back. The hardest part was choosing which car to go for. Plancars made it so so simple.

Excellent Communication and Great Service
This is the first time I've leased a car and it could hardly have been a better experience. My only negative comment would be the initial reaction to my on-line quote which was somewhat slow and disjointed on behalf of the sales team. However once my order was in the system all proceeded smoothly with plenty of helpful e-mails to assist me through the process of completing the various forms required. The car was delivered some 4 weeks ahead otf the estimated date and was exactly as I had specified. Lastly, the price was the best I could find. I shall certainly look to Plan first when this lease deal is complete and I need a new car.

Efficient, friendly and helpful.
Second vehicle I've leased from plan. Very efficient from the off. Paperwork etc..was sent when they said they would send it. No drawn out wait for approval. Reply quickly to emails and queries. No issues with delivery of vehicle.
If you opt for maintenance package...the logistics of getting the vehicle service/repaired is always hassle free and straight forward. After researching virtually all the leasing companies, they are by far the most competitive.
A special mention to Chris Hinson and Ria Gravaner, who provided me with superb service.

Beware cancellation fee pressure from this company!!!!!!!!
A car was ordered via the order form by myself and I then cancelled three weeks later due to a much better deal found elsewhere with a transparent order process. Plan (GB) Ltd insisted on charging cancellation fees ranging from £2400 and dropping to £600 over a period of 6-8 months and threatening each time with court proceedings if not paid quickly. All correspondence was via email.
Their 'order form' (as of 2016) does not meet either the requirements of their own trade association (the BVRLA) and does not meet consumer law requirements under the Consumer Contracts Regulations in terms of explaining your cancellation rights as a potential customer of Plan(GB). This information is especially important as the sales process is conducted at distance via email and involves significant sums of money.
Plan (GB)'s approach to charging cancellation fees using their current order process is incorrect and unfair in the instance that a potential customer should change their mind. It effectively penalises you for changing your mind which you have every right to do within a specified period and Plan(GB) must tell you this although they don't.
If you find yourself the subject of a demand for cancellation fees from Plan(GB) refer the order form and any correspondence to your solicitor or the CAB and take their advice.
Plan (GB) have an opportunity here to reply to this review and explain that they have changed their process and order form this year (since October 2016) to reflect both their own industry (BVRLA) guidance and their legal duties.
Despite Planyourcar/Plan(GB)'s attempts to remove this review via Trustpilot I'm very pleased to see it has been fully reinstated as a genuine/valid review despite the 'over the top' protests of Plan(GB).
As my review states - BEWARE CANCELLATION FEE PRESSURE!

We can only assume this is a false review as it is from an unnamed and unknown individual. However, our order forms, terms and conditions and selling process is all approved and has been recently audited by the BVRLA who have confirmed that we trade fully within their code of conduct. Proof of this can be supplied to any customer on request!
We are fully authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
The comments above are wrong because we are legally entitled to charge a cancellation fee for our service in the event of a customer cancelling a vehicle at a late stage, Our cancellation fees are explained within our order form T's &C's and we ask all customers to read and sign to agree the terms before proceeding with an order. This means all quotations and advice are completely free until that point.
If a customer wants to proceed with a quotation we do not take any money from them (like a dealer takes a deposit), we ask the customer to sign an order and the terms of that order clearly state that if we gain a credit approval and order a vehicle and then you change your mind at a later stage, even if you find a cheaper deal (as if that a reason to expect us to cover costs anyway?) then we are entitled to charge for cancelling our service.
The customer is entitled to cancel without a fee if the car is late or if for some reason we couldn't supply the exact car / deal that the customer ordered (as detailed on their order form)... again this is made clear in the terms and is 100% fair.
Plan currently do not take deposits from customers and 99% of the time we don't take a penny until the customer has had the vehicle delivered. If you ordered with a dealer you pay a deposit and if you change your mind (at a late stage) you lose your deposit - it is no different to us charging a cancellation fee except a signed order is good enough for us. We would only charge a cancellation fee if a vehicle had actually been ordered and could still be supplied within the quoted time frame and the amount would be fair, it would purely cover the costs incurred at that time.
The comments in this review are false and the advice is wrong, as the BVRLA would confirm. This review is a vicious attempt (probably from a competitor) to damage our business, which has a great reputation for honesty and integrity, Our business has been built over 20 successful years of trading, we have thousands of loyal and happy customers, that is demonstrated by the 'GENUINE' reviews on this site!

An easy and pleasant experience all round thanks to Plan Car.
Taken me a while to find the right car but having found the Plan Car team my reservations vanished. Wouldn't waste your time
I never write bad reviews but I was so disappointed with the service (if you can call it that) I received. Unfortunately when I phoned up to order a car Liam answered. He was useless from start to finish, from ordering me the wrong colour car, telling me the wrong delivery date so I had to pay for a hire car for two weeks, telling me wrong number plate so I couldn't get it insured. The list goes on. When I phoned up for some help I spoke to Ria or Emma. All they kept doing was telling me how confused they were which was no help to me what so ever. Oh and lastly they say you get 'free delivery' - you don't! I had a man drive my car 120 miles on sports mode from wherever he came from, leaving me a dribble of petrol to roll down to the petrol garage. It arrived with mud on the wheels and side of car and marks all over the interior. The only person that deserves some credit is Chris, who managed to rectify all of Liams mistakes. Worst company ever.

We are sorry you feel this way about the service you received, I have tried to contact you a couple of times to discuss your issues but haven’t been able to get through to you thus far. As per my recent emails there were some areas where our usual high service levels were not achieved, some of this was down to our supplying dealer miscommunicating information to us and some of the problems were down to staff training because Liam is our newest member of the sales team - we have addressed both issues internally to ensure it doesn’t happen again. When we spoke previously I was not aware that you were in a hire car for two weeks, due to the circumstances we will be happy to refund that cost to you. Regarding the number plate, that was a mistake by our supplying dealer and they rectified the error ASAP, it was in no way intentional to hold up your insurance, we apologise for this on behalf of our supplying dealer. The one point I have to disagree with is the “free delivery” as every vehicle is delivered to any UK address free of charge, they are driven to the customer but it is free of charge and any delivery mileage on delivery is deducted from your overall contracted mileage allowance so you are not penalised in anyway at all. None of our competitors will include trailer / transported deliveries free of charge for lease vehicles unless you pay a premium for that service. On this occasion the manufacturer delivered the car directly to you from their PDI centre, we were unaware that the car was delivered dirty and of course this is unacceptable - we will gladly pay for full valet and we will of course address this with the supplier to ensure it doesn’t happen in future. Finally as a goodwill gesture and to apologise for the mistakes we would like to offer you a free tank of fuel. Please email me the receipts for car hire, car wash/valet and fuel, then I will arrange for the payments to be made ASAP.
