We apologise for the missing parts in your delivery. As the manufacturer, we always strive to correct errors and deficiencies as quickly as possible in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act, which gives us both the right and the obligation to remedy complaints – for example by sending missing or defective parts.
We can see that you received the delivery yesterday at 16:34, and that you sent us an email with your complaint at 23:22 the same evening. Unfortunately, we do not operate outside normal working hours, which is why we first responded to your complaint today at 09:31. In our reply, we asked you to provide the part numbers for the missing items, so that we could send them to you. However, at 13:36 you sent another email informing us, that you had already purchased the parts yourself, which has deprived us of the opportunity to resolve the issue. This means that we have not had the opportunity to fulfil our obligations as a supplier, which also means that claims for compensation cannot be accepted.
Of course, we will still send the missing parts and are happy to include one of each type to ensure you are covered regardless of how the gate is mounted.
