Based on my personal experience, if you value your time and money, stay away from Ponko used cars. The salesperson, acted as if he was doing us a favor, and his attitude was ridiculous. Maybe he was in a bad mood, but as customers, we are paying for their service.

The car was faulty, and we reported it the same day. There was no response; they asked me to share details of a local garage, but nothing came of it. I ended up rejecting the car, and they took it for servicing. However, they took a month just to make that decision.

They never answer calls, never call back, and demonstrate irresponsible customer service, especially from customer service. They seem very nice until you pay the deposit, but after that, their attitude changes completely. After more than a month, they returned my car with the same faults—it’s still burning oil. I rejected the car again, but they denied my claim..

I found the faults within hours after bought the car , its been months and months no solution , Really irresponsible customer service. Whenever we called they will answer ask for our details for calling us back and they never , we have to share our story to the reception staff every single time and they never call back
Either the mails replies are also not helpful.

I hope the owner reads these reviews. I also wish the owner of Ponko should send their staff to other dealerships to observe and learn how to serve customers and communicate with them effectively..

I have given them more enough time to resolve my issue and I am now pursuing legal action. I do not recommend Ponko used cars.

Very disappointing experience! I recommend avoiding Ponko altogether. If you do buy from them, be sure to get a thorough inspection from a local garage right away, as their warranty holds no real value. The courteous treatment during purchase doesn’t last.

Very professional service. They always answered any questions very clearly and did a full vehicle check and preparation before selling any car. The small deposit to reserve gives you peace of mind and you can always get a refund if you're not happy with the car. I took out the 6 month warranty as the car didn't have any service history. I have run the car 1,000 miles so far with no problems. Would definitely use them again, but hopefully won't need to for a few years if my car lasts!

Matt made the whole process of buying my car extremely easy, i could not recommend him enough. Made an enquiry on Thursday night and the car was delivered on Wednesday. He sent me a Video tour of the car on Whatsapp and answered all questions i had quickly. This is the first time i had bought a car from a dealership and thought it would be a long painful process but it was anything but that. The delivery driver was also very helpful and friendly.

Thanks to Matt, he was being professional guiding through the test drive and purchase process, all went well and I am satisfied with my car.

STAY AWAY - OR GET PONKOD!!!!

The worst company to deal with. Wouldn't even give them the one star. Paid a deposit online to secure a van. Called up to discuss the test drive and pick up of the van, they were happy to wait a week, as i was going on shift. Called to arrange the finance. And another call from the company to confirm viewing next week today.

An hour later i receive a call from the company to tell me they had in-fact just sold the van to another customer today, with some excuse that i would not be happy with the van condition as the air conditioning wasn't working and there was a leak in the passenger footwell which made it all “squishy” nome of which previously mentioned.

Apparently a deposit no longer secures a car and they sell it anyway. - seems ive had a lucky escape, especially as they tried to sell me a different van.

Stay away .brought car from ponko. Warranty not worth paper it printed on .After first week broke down ..£500 later week 3 towed to garage broken down again £4700 bill contacted ponko customer care..bold tires engine leak all lights on .all I can say is stay away.. disgusting. Not Road worthy. Be careful.

Its been great experience purchasing the car from Ponko, James has been very accomodating throughout in viewing the car and going through all the vehicle details and answering any queries I had. Drove the car back home today and its been fantastic and I hope to do further business in the future.

They made sure my car is clean but didn’t replace one of the rear VPN bulbs so while I was driving home from the garage and it got dark, I got an error warning and had to fix it myself. Since then, both of the fobs have stopped working and now I have a gearbox issue. I paid £300 for warranty and they’re just ignoring me. It’s been over a week and I’ve chased and still heard nothing. The warranty company is owned by the owner of PONKO.

Got my BMW 1 Series through them and everything went smoothly, big thanks to Hayden for helping me out!!

Ponko is notorious for scamming people elegantly, they intentionally hide issues in the car especially the serious ones, once they get the money they will avoid any accountability and find ways to blame you and scam you. Don't be fooled by the niceness of the salesman.

Save your hard-earned money and avoid buying from these scammers.
