Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the service, citing issues with maintenance, repairs, and a general lack of responsiveness. The quality of products also raised concerns, with some experiencing problems with new vehicles and components. Reviewers frequently highlighted poor customer service, describing staff as unhelpful and difficult to engage with, leading to a frustrating overall experience. However, some people were satisfied with specific interactions, such as quick scratch repairs or lightbulb changes that were resolved efficiently and without charge. These instances suggest that while the majority faced considerable challenges, positive experiences with individual staff members or minor services occasionally occurred.

Go somewhere else

Would give zero stars if I could, worst customer service I've EVER experienced and far from brands like Land Rover that I've had extremely favourable experiences with.

I've ordered a Taycan CT from this dealer through my work scheme and have been waiting for the car for nearly 19 months. The car arrived in the UK 5-6 weeks back and was held in a stop sale until a few days back when the dealer confirmed that it'll be delivered today (text attached).

Was initially supposed to collect on 29th May, but that was cancelled the Friday before, and the train fare I paid was never refunded. Then delivery was booked for Friday the 2nd which didn't happen, reason given as the stop sale which ran into Saturday the 3rd. The next delivery on Friday, the 9th (today), was confirmed by text 2 days earlier and was told the car is due a software update so can not be delivered. But on the text, there's no mention of this mysterious software update.

Very discourteous customer service that looks for excuses not to do their job and using firmware updates as an excuse to inconvenience customers who take days off and have to cancel plans based on how the dealer is feeling on the day.

Your just a cash cow to Porsche

When you spend literally the price of a house on a car - you kind of expect their HO to make sure your taken care of - but how wrong you would be, your just a cash cow.

When my Panamera E-Hybrid reached 3ys old I bought a Porsche warranty to extend it, it was £2k for the privilege, and I had to make one small claim on it for a electric filler cap cover which had failed. I got it repaired at Porsche Preston, and after about 8 months or so it failed again - shame on your Preston. This is bad enough, the repair or the part was clearly shoddy, it's not like it's a high wear part and should never have failed the first time let alone a second time. The insult to injury came when asking Porsche Preston to sort out the failed part they had fitted about 8 months previously, even though this had been done by them under warranty - which I had paid £2k for remember, they said they do not guarantee warranty repairs unless I've purchased another warranty! Seriously??

I was very upset with their response, and contacted Porsche GB for clarity on this, they fully supported the dealer and consider it ok to charge you extra for a failed warranty repair! Not a particularly high bar for quality of work?

The best they suggested was for me to give up a day of my time to take the car back to the dealership for investigation, but it would still be chargeable.

Thanks for nothing Porsche - this will be my last ever Porsche, the next £100k I drop on a car will not be with a company who make record profits on the back of ripping off customers.

Worst car company I've ever dealt with

Worst car company I've ever dealt with. The supervisors in the customer "service" department at Porsche North America ignored all complaints, of which I've made 3, regarding their app, my local dealership, and overall dissatisfaction with Porsche. I am appalled that such an iconic car company can be so, so, so poor. I've given this company an awful lot of money and they won't even do me the courtesy of a simple email or text regarding my complaints. Do not even get me started on how bad the Porsche of Jackson dealership is. They truly get a 0/10 from me. I sincerely question their motives. Its clear that once they get your money, they won't speak with you anymore. I've had 10x better service with Honda. I'll be selling my car shortly, and not to a Porsche dealership as they prefer. Looks like Honda just got another customer. STAY AWAY FROM PORSCHE.

i have been scammed by porsche

my cayenne had a problem with the hybrid part, which is under warranty but no one wants to assume it, and i am being ignored by all the porsches, i am entitled to that warranty as it says on the carfax with my car's VIN. I have been at home for 3 months without a car with 2 children because of this situation. I need you to take responsibility for this. This car was my dream and right now it's a nightmare with terrible customer support.

I have been ignored, they promise to call me or respond to emails and nothing happens. I'm being scammed by this company. the head office asks me to talk to fremont and fremont asks me to talk to the head office they are playing ping pong with me.

I feel like they are trying to scam me for being an immigrant, but I have all the evidence on this matter! I have my rights

Porsche Poor Assistance

I recently had an issue with my 2-year-old Porsche Cayenne, where the airbag light came on and the seat belts started bleeping while driving. I contacted Porsche Assist, and a recovery person was appointed to the job. To my surprise, the recovery person advised me to ignore the warning lights and drive the vehicle to the Porsche workshop, as it was the easiest option. I trusted their advice, assuming they were knowledgeable about Porsche vehicles

After waiting for a while without receiving any contact from Eurocar, as promised, I reached out to Porsche Assist again for an update. This time, I was informed that I was not eligible for a courtesy car because I had chosen to drive the vehicle myself, which, according to the Porsche dealership, is illegal. This contradiction left me frustrated and confused.

To add to my disappointment, the customer service representative, Sunita, whom I spoke to, displayed a rude and unprofessional attitude. She continuously shouted and failed to provide a reasonable solution to the issue. It was disheartening to encounter such poor service from someone representing the company.

Fortunately, I was later contacted by a supervisor named Ham, who was a complete contrast to Sunita. Ham took the time to understand my situation and promptly organized the recovery and a courtesy car. Their assistance was a breath of fresh air amidst the previous unpleasant interactions.

It's important for readers to be aware that, based on my experience, it is advisable to opt for recovery services rather than driving the vehicle yourself, despite what may be initially suggested. The conflicting information provided by the recovery person and the subsequent denial of a courtesy car only added to the frustration and inconvenience.

In the future, I hope Porsche improves the consistency and quality of their customer service, ensuring that all representatives provide accurate information and treat customers with respect. Clear communication and reliable service are essential in maintaining customer satisfaction.

Please note that this review reflects my personal experience and may not be representative of others' experiences with Porsche Assistance.

Profiteering via service costs

Inquired via email about a major service for my 2019 Posrche Cayman at Cambridge, in early April 2023. Was quoted by Spencer £1750, £350 above Leicester & Bournemouth. I asked to speak to the GM about the over priced service costs, but he had Covid. Spencer finally got me to speak with the Sales manager. Apparently, no one has questioned the pricing before, as there's lots of money around Cambridge. Also, if i got my car serviced elsewhere, it might be useful as they are having major renovation. The SM said he would look at the price and get back to me, 4 weeks later nothing. I am really appalled with the arrogance and the attitude.. I can afford the costs, but i am not paying over £350 compared to other OPC, this is a complete rip off.

What an arrogant disappointing brand

What an arrogant disappointing brand. I have owned four Porsche cars and recently purchased a Taycan Turbo S for £150k from a UK authorised dealership in the midlands. The UK Porsche support team are unbelievable, I will NEVER buy another Porsche. I have emailed Krishan Bodhani directly three times with a 'read receipt' and he doesn't even have the decency to reply ( not even his office' DM ME AND I WILL COPY YOU WITH THE WHOLE COMMUNICATION AND DETAIL ON TECHNICAL ISSUES IGNORED.

Today I had to contact Porsche Customer Service due to the complete breakdown of my hybrid Cayenne Coupe I would ask you to consider the purchase of a Porsche as the aftercare service lacks the support you would expect when buying one of their cars. I recently purchased a car from Cinch for my son and the customer service experience was fabulous compared to Porsche. This has been my third Porsche and most likely my last.

DON'T GIVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT, WALK AWAY!!

As with many Taycan owners, seemed like a good idea at the time!!

Coldest day of the year to find the heater had failed....then the worst experience of my 50 years of driving began.

Such a dangerous fault, surely a recall???? No such thing, they put you in danger then you find out the hard way!

Porsche Assistance……such brilliant LIARS…..we will make sure that you are given a comparable car……Is a C Class Mercedes comparible for £120K car???? NEVER AGAIN …….£500 of fuel???? When pigs get their wings I guess!

Reported in January, still in a compound awaiting parts to fix the heater, software issues……endless problems……

Anyway, it’s already beyond doubt that PREMIUM CAR BRAND is totally debunked…..and just them having a laugh at what’s left of their customers.

So rather than simply reinforce what’s already established…..what do we do?? I brought mine through a business. I have billed VWFS for loss of business use and personal enjoyment……not that there was ever any but I have given notice that I will pursue through the County Courts for Damages of £10,000 which if successful I will enforce through the High Court……. EVERYONE, DON’T GET MAD GET EVEN!!!

Better still…..CLASS ACTION!!! Bigger compensation. I am happy to contribute £1,000 to set up costs if several other owners will join me? We need an owner with contacts…..Not allowed to give an email but must be a forum?

Let’s get justice and STOP being taken for fools???

Porsche West London - excellent people. Porsche Nottingham excellent example of how to wreck a business.

What a joke

What a joke, tonight at 1735 my Taycan had a puncture. Spoke to Porsche assist and was informed nothing could be done other than recover my vehicle, eta for recovery 8pm. We then received a text establishing 1030pm spoke to Porsche assist again and they confirmed this would be the earliest. Left the car in Guildford made my own way home to Hayling Island let’s see what happens tomorrow. Very disappointed with the hole experience considering we have purchase over six new cars in the last couple of years.

What a joke

What a joke! I don’t even know where to start. I bought a taycan in April. I’ve had numerous software problems (no airconditioning, not being able to charge, navigation turning off, the floor on the passenger side was able to dent in and out when you placed your feet on it etc) which after months finally seem resolved. Now, I lost my charging card to charge at home. It’s been a week and they still have not arranged anything. My Porsche dealer is even angry with them and disgusted at Porsche Services since my dealer can’t order a new card, Porsche services does. They don’t return calls or emails and don’t solve the problem. They were supposed to call me today with a solution. Which really shouldn’t be rocket science. Just send me a new card! For such an expensive brand I truly expected at least a decent customer service experience. What a turn off!

Luxury brand!? What a joke

I ordered a Taycan via a lease company Zenith in October 2022. Originally I was told it would be 6 months and then finally 1 year when dealer
Confirmed order (which I accepted). 3 weeks( !! ) before delivery I was told it would be delivered in March 2023. By which time i had sold my car in expectation of the delivery. No apology, no temporary car nothing. To add insult to Injury a few weeks ago after waiting for 16 months!!! I’m told the price had gone up. I thought it was some sort of joke and complained to zenith CEO Directly he said it was Porches fault and having spoken to the dealer principle (Cambridge)he said it was Porsche UK’s fault and then trying to complain to Porsche UK they said it was the dealers fault and having gone around this loop twice more my only option is to take the increase (even though the huge amount of convenience) or I could cancel the order. I was finally told car before the end of March and now got another email from zenith saying mid April!!! A luxury brand..what a joke. I would avoid Porsche (and zenith) at all costs but if you do really want a Porsche (like I did) I would be prepared for delays and missed promises
Absolutely disgraceful customer service from start to finish

Porsche Tycan without heat…

The heater failed in my Tycan in January and it has still not been fixed despite my having brought the matter to the attention of Oliver Blum in Germany. I am told the the Reading facility is backed up with failed vehicles-you might say ‘a veritable Tycan graveyard’. I am appalled at the delinquent level of service received from Porsche in the matter. They seem not to care and that is scandalous…

I worked for Porsche west london under the company Enigma and it was the worst experience I had in my entire life with discrimination, I was ignored on my last day of work which was on 02/20/2023. I had pneumonia for a week and even though I was sick and life-threatening, they didn't give me any support, the day I went back to work I was treated like garbage. I would definitely not recommend even my worst enemy to work for Porsche west london.
