No point buying extended warranty from Porsche

I had an issue with my air conditioning unit not blowing cold air. My car is under warranty so I called Porsche assist who sent a chap over who did various tests which he emailed to Porsche Sutton Coldfield and also booked my car to be seen by them. He told me exactly what a chap from an independent garage told me that there’s a fault with the unit and it’s not taking the air conditioning gas in.
A couple of days later I had a call from the dealers asking if I’m prepared to pay £380 to diagnose the issue.!! I was confused and tried explaining why would I pay if my car is under warranty and that all diagnostics should be carried out under this warranty however they insisted that to do the tests I needed to pay which I don’t understand. I bought my car back as I’m not prepared to pay this amount as I believe I’m being conned. I had a very similar issue with my Audi Q8 and they covered it all under my warranty. The experience with Porsche has put me off buying another in the future.

No Trained technicians

Having taken my 911 turbo to Sutton Coldfield 3 times, they finally said, the faulty spoiler requires a new control module (£1500). Fourth visit, it was fitted and worked 3 times then quit. Fifth visit, I was told the new module just needed a reset. Lasted 3 times then quit. Finally, on 27th August, I called and spoke to a lady, and said, "You have tried and failed, 5 times, to fix my Porsche, do you know of any Porsche specialst that might be able to actually fix it?" She RECOMMENDED Porsche main dealer in Solihull. So that is where I took it. Unbelievable !!!!!!!

Steer well clear of Porsche Sutton…

Steer well clear of Porsche Sutton Coldfield.
They lie to get sales and then when you question them they don’t call you back
I have never experience such poor customer service in my life….and call themselves a luxury brand…hilarious!

Very happy with the work undertaken

Very happy with the work undertaken by Porsche centre Sutton Coalfield on my 997.2. The work entailed a complete suspension refresh and I found Sutton Coalfield to be price competitive and undertook the work in line with their quote and in a timely manner. Hannah kept me updated with progress and the courtesy car was much appreciated.

Poor communication- Poor customer…

Poor communication- Poor customer service . And it’s not just me saying that!
No email to confirm appointment.
No loan car available for almost 2 months.
Asked to bring my Targa in 08.00 for a 7 hour service. Car still not ready and it’s now nearly 17:30. They agreed to my request to 16;00 collection and failed me miserably.
Do they care?
If so , how is that demonstrated?
It doesn’t matter how smiley and chatty the receptionist is , these guys have poor customer service and low customer empathy!

Last month they previously charged me £75 to investigate a broken sun visor. It was already broken and lying on the passenger seat and they had ordered a new one. £75 to tell me it was broken!!! The very reason I bought my wife’s Cayenne in!

Today after full service they must have done a 5 minute wash and clean- because it wasn’t washed properly and it wasn’t clean inside.
This is not about the money- I have 3 of these cars - this is about poor poor poor customer care. Shocking!!

Profit before Service much?????

Update:

Got my Targa home and the roof only part opens!! No problem in 3 years abs now they’ve messed up my Targa roof.
I now believe they knew the roof service not carried out correctly, that they sent me away knowing their work was incomplete and inefficient. Disgraceful!
It’s not low customer empathy…it’s NO COSTUMER EMPATHY
