I bought a mini-crossbody bag. I loved it BUT the chemical smell was so bad I count stand being near the bag! I called the company and asked if this was normal, the woman said absolutely not, this smell is rare. So they said to send it back and get would send me another bag. Got the other bag yesterday and horrible smell again, I barely had to open the box, and I could smell the chemical, not leather smell, actual chemical smell.Unfortumately I have to send it back again.

Poor quality, poor craftsmanship. No replies to emails and no phone number to contact. And in addition, they charged me for shipping both ways, this is not disclosed in their return policy.

First time ordering from Portland Leather Goods but somehow they already had my credit card information?? BUT, then after I clicked to purchase my purse I got two other charges that THANK GOD did not go through..yet. Exact same time 1 from a Chris matsko in st louis for a dual intrface(spelled like that) and the other with no name from Detroit... wtf??? I don't enjoy dealing with fraud. I'm going to have to watch my card closely now. Not cool.

Got a merlot limited edition tote and a wallet in the mail a little over a week ago. Neither are cute in person. Both are ridiculously overpriced given the limited craftsmanship. The tote in particular came scuffed up on one side.

For clarity, I did not order an "almost perfect" product. But looking at the reviews here, it seems like Portland Leather expects you to settle for flaws even when paying full price. I actually expect a pristine product when I pay for one.

I knew these items were probably going back before I took them out of the box, even with Portland Leather's terrible and costly return policy. I did in fact try to cancel when I realized there were tons of negative reviews out there, just not on Portland Leather's website.

Sketchy company all around. Dropped off my return today.

I ultimately ended up buying a tote and wallet from a different company for around the same price point (I think the two items combined ended up being $30-$40 more). So happy I did.

Save yourself the headache and just spend a little a more money. There are other affordable leather options out there.

I absolutely loves all my purchases from Portland Leather. I have a wallet, love, a Leather backpack, love, and a beautiful leather shoulder purse for special occasions.

love the bag: roomier than i thought; great color; lovely leather-finish; holds what i need. wish the strap were longer so i can cross body it (i'm busty).

I really like the color. I purchased the cold brew. This crossbody is a bit large for me, so I removed the strap and use it as a purse. I’ve gotten 3 compliments in the short time I’ve had it. I also love the smell of this genuine leather product. The insert is a must to keeping everything organized.

I love the size and pebbling detail on my bag. We did have one package get lost by the shipping company, but PLG was quick to issue options and send another package quickly.

This was my first order from PLG and I am hooked! The Meadow Metro is the perfect size and the leather is amazing. I will definitely be ordering more as I see several things that I think would be great to own and all designed for use. I also purchased a bifold wallet for my husband and he is impressed with the quality and loves the size. I see more in his future as well.

This leather and color are absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the style of the bag too. I wish it was just a little larger though. I wish there was a portlant leather in Michigan!!!!

The lily wristlet is so amazing. I have actually ordered two additional as gifts. I ordered the sunflower for myself absolutely love it then I ordered the mango and cowboy mint as gifts! This Lily wristlet is going to be perfect for vacationing and date nights! It will carry all my necessities. I placed my order and within a week I had delivery.

I have ordered a few thousand dollars of Portland leather Goods over the past few years and have not been disappointed in the affordable quality in these leather products. Be prepared that if you order one and join there Facebook Portland leather Insiders group that it will not be your last🤭
