I have been a patient of Portlethen Medical practice for the last 13years.I have never had an issue getting an appointment.The doctors are very nice and they listen to you.You get seen if its something urgent.Ladies at reception are really nice.There was one lady Lorraine and through covid pandemic when i was worried she always stayed on the phone chatting away to try her best to help you.

I have been with this practice 7 years gp partners and doctors are excellent practice manager and all nurses are excellent appointment phone line staff are excellent this practise looks after me like no other be proud of what you do local people I certainly am thank you

I recently joined Portlethen Medical Centre in Portlethen (Aberdeen), but I wish I had not. Although the doctors I met seem to be quite friendly, the administration part is hopeless. Some of the staff are helpful, but I find most of them unkind, even quite arrogant. I am off work due to a hand injury and need fit notes, but when it comes to it, it is a terrible nightmare to scramble one from them when needed. They take their time, which should not take more than a few minutes to write, and if you ask questions, they can be quite rude, and they shake you off as if you were nobody. So, unless they improve their attitude toward their patients (to whom they should be grateful that they are in a quite comfortable practice) and are more caring and professional, I do not recommend them.
